Remove a raccoon from behind wall in bedroom

Josh was terrific! He came and checked for noises behind the wall, we couldn't hear anything but were afraid we had a mother raccoon and babies. He installed a swinging door on the hole in the eavestrough, allowing the animal to leave but not return. We waited for three days to make sure there were no sounds. Josh returned and declared it empty and did a great job sealing everything up. Very professional, friendly and efficient. Would definitely use Gates again.

Hi Nick, thank you for describing how your job unfolded and for taking the time to write a review. This is certainly the time of year to be concerned about the possibility of having a mother and babies in the house. If they are present, we need to take every precaution to ensure we keep the family unit together. Brad Gates, B.Sc. Owner / President - Awarded HomeStars Best of 2015 & 2016!

    Racoon removal

On April 1, 2016 Justin from Gates Wildlife Control successfully removed a mother raccoon and her 4 offspring from my attic and sealed the hole of entry which had caused a leak in my bathroom. Justin was amazingly efficient and knowledgeable giving me peace of mind that I had called the right Company. I am grateful for Justin's hard work and follow up the next day that ensured me I was in good hands. Many Thanks Justin sorry for the tardy response.

    Remove raccoons from the roof

We called Gates on Friday and Brad was at our place at 11 am on Monday morning. He assessed the situation and resolved our raccoon problem. Brad is great and we felt very comfortable knowing that the work would be done efficiently. Great Company, this is the second time we have had them help us out. Hopefully with all the screening, we should be rid of our raccoon problem once and for all and get back to a good nights sleep.

    raccoon removal

We had a mother raccoon and three babies in our attic. I called AAA Gates Wildlife Control and they were at my home the next day. Nick quickly assessed the situation and very quickly and efficiently removed the babies and placed them in a warm box so that the mother could retrieve them. The next day Nick returned and we were all delighted to learn that the mother had retrieved the babies and moved out! Nick was great - his knowledge and expertise was evident as was his care in treating the babies and mother. Thanks for an excellent job!

    Answer from pro:

Hi Joanne, thank you for describing how Nick removed the babies and placed them in a warm box so the mother could retrieve them. Not all companies are careful to ensure the babies are kept warm during the cold night air. I also appreciate your comments about Nicks' expertise and the care he took with the mother and her babies. Racoon Babies in Attic

We had racoon babies in our attic. Called AAA Gates on Easter Sunday and made an appointment. Next 2 days, they found and removed 4 babies. On their recommendation, had protective screening installed on 6 vents. Service was fast, efficient, friendly and much appreciated. Many thanks to Peter & Boris for a job well done.

    Wildlife control

I called "Triple A" when I heard sounds in my attic. They sent someone out promptly. When Josh came out he did a thorough inspection and identified the problem. It turned out that it wasn't a wildlife problem but mice (yuck). While triple a doesn't deal with this problem, Josh was very helpful with suggestions. He even nailed in some nails that had popped in my eavestrough. All at no charge. Would definitely use this company if I needed their service. Very professional and forthright!

    Answer from pro:

Hi, it is not uncommon for homeowners to mistake the noises of mice for that of squirrels and sometimes even raccoons. In the dead of night even the smallest of sounds can sound quite big. Good luck in solving your mouse problem and we will be here should you need help with a future wildlife issue. Thanks for the review. Brad Gates, B.Sc. Starlings Nest in My Dryer Vent

These people are true professionals, from start to finish. Their customer care rep that booked the service was very attentive; good listener; was transparent in disclosing estimate/cost for service. She was also able to provide me with options re: dates/time for service. Chris (Sr Wildlife technician) showed up promptly for the appt; was very courteous and friendly; explained his course of action; demonstrated both knowledge and confidence in addressing the safe removal of the nest in the exterior area of my dryer vent. Chris was extremely thorough by further removing all debris from the inside of the dryer's flexible tubing. "Thank you Chris! You're awesome." I would highly recommend the services provided by this company.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Milena, I love the fact that you took the the time to compliment our customer care rep on a job well done. It is usually our technicians that get all the praise because they solve the active problem. I would also like to thank you for commenting on the work Chris did to ensure a successful safe removal. Great review! I will be reading it at our next meeting. Brad Gates, B.Sc. Owner / President - Awarded HomeStars Best of 2015 & 2016!

Raccoon removal - Josh got the babies out!

We had some damage to the vents on the gable ends and had heard raccoons on the roof, but the openings did not seem big enough to think they had been successful. We were wrong - apparently they only need a hole the size of a grapefruit to get in and can dislocate various parts if needed. Anyway, they did have to come back a couple of times (price includes getting them out no matter the repeat visits) and we finally heard babies just last night so this is why the mother hadn't left through the one way traps. They were in a very difficult spot over the bay window but Josh was able to get at them from the soffit side. Just waiting for the mother to come out to get her babies from the 'baby box'.

    Answer from pro:

Hi Jeff, it is true that raccoons can fit through some pretty small openings. Thank you for explaining that we do not charge for extra visits, the price we give is the price you pay! Usually we can solve most problems in a couple of visits but sometimes baby season can throw us a curve. Thanks for your informative review and for your patience. Brad Gates, B.Sc. Pest control

Squirrels were in my attic ! I am glad that I found Gates wildlife control company. Brad removed squirrel baby and replaced the vents and screens, the price is reasonable. The baby finally was take by mom. Thank you Brad, you solved the problem.

    Answer from pro:

Hi, thank you for your review. As we so often see with plastic roof vents, the mother squirrel had chewed large holes in them to gain access into the attic. I am glad you called us as quickly as you did because it wouldn't have been long before water would have entered the attic and damaged the ceilings. Brad Gates, B.Sc.
