    Air Conditioner Upgrade - They Told Me NOT to Put in a Heat Pump

    Last fall, Jason from Button's told me heat pumps were not suitable for Canada and I should install one of their DAIKIN AC units. We discussed it at length. Now they sell them - hmmm

Jason has been in the industry for decades and has been with Button’s Heating for just over a year…and we are incredibly fortune to have him on our team. Not once, until now, have we ever heard a bad word about Jason. In fact, we hear nothing but enthusiastic praise and gratitude from our clients with regards to the level of knowledge and customer service Jason brings to the table. Please know that the rebates for heat pumps are very new. The were not available at the time when you were in a position to replace your air-conditioner. The cost difference between air-conditioners is very significant. It is only with these brand-new rebates that homeowners are having heat pumps installed to replace their air-conditioners. Homeowners who ask about heat pumps and are presented with a proposal to spend approximately $3,000 - $5,000 more for a heat pump without the rebates in play, all decline and simply replace their existing air-conditioner with a new air-conditioner. Our climate and use of heat pump really only make sense with the new rebates. In closing, I hope that the above makes sense to you Rob. The last thing we at Button’s Heating and Air-Conditioning want are unhappy clients. It really would upset us more than the client.     Air Conditioner Fix

    Great job to restore my air conditioning on the hottest day of the year. The tech was clearly friendly, knowledgeable, and diagnosed my issue very quickly. Would 100% recommend Buttons if you have a broken air conditioner.

    new furnace and heat pump installation

    Todd was very detailed in explaining the various options available to us and answered all of our questions clearly. The installation was done by Alan, Phillip and Noah. It was evident that this crew takes pride in what. they do. They were very neat and tidy with all aspects of the installation. A professional job well done - 100% satisfied with Buttons Heating !

    Paying for service calls and no repair

    My neighbour had Buttons install furnace and A/C a few years ago. She now had a problem. They came out after about 5 days to tell her she needed to clean fins and perhaps a compressor issue. After a few days she called them again; again charged for service call. This technician had no information from previous technician so didn't have the part. Gave her the guy I use from a different company; he was there a couple of hours, found issue, repaired problem and charged less than Buttons did. He fixed the problem

    Excellent HVAC & Water Heater Maintenance

    Buttons is my go-to company for all things related to our furnace, AC and water heater. Their service is excellent, from the friendly and helpful reception when I call them, through guidance on new equipment and installation, and on to their ongoing annual servicing of our systems. Their office staff, management and service technicians are all friendly, helpful and professional and all service calls occur on the date and time scheduled without incident. Its a pleasure to deal with the Buttons team, and I look forward to doing so for many years to come!

    Inspection

    Quick inspection after we moved in. Gave me reassurance of the ac system before moving into the heat of the summer. Tech was knowledgeable and friendly, would recommend.

    Water on the floor by air conditioner

    The air conditioner was making a funny sound. Went to check and saw water on the floor around the furnace. Immediately turned off air conditioner and cleaned up area. Brandon arrived and unblocked a drain. Cleaned out filters. (Oops!) And did a few tests. Brandon adjusted the fan speed and and added some coolant. I got some good advice and will keep our filters clean. Very pleased with the service.

    Furnace/Air con service

    Cool air was not reaching the upper floor of my house. I called Buttons Heating and Air Conditioning, who installed, and have serviced this equipment, for 14 years. Tom arrived the next day and diagnosed and fixed the problem within minutes. He took the time to explain what had happened and then proceeded to do several more checks before he left. I want to thank Tom and the staff at Buttons who answered my call for their support and professionalism.
