    A/C and Furnace Replacement

    I was looking for a replacement furnace and air conditioner unit and decided to get three quotes.The prices I received were all around the same but the positive feeling and professional service my wife and I had with Mitch the in home consultant was not even close.He answered all my questions with a smile and great attitude, once we had signed the contract I knew we had made the right decision.The great service continued with Jonathan and the installation crew who did a beautiful installation and answered any questions I had.I could tell from every interaction I had with Button's Heating and Air Conditioning that the great service would continue.I would recommend to everyone I talk to if you want a top notch company to deal with from top to bottom don't hesitate and call Button's!

    Heat Recovery Ventilator and Furnace blower Replacement

    Since Buttons did an excellent job on my air conditioning previously, I gave them a ring about installing an HRV. The sales rep was great in navigating through the various options, and suggesting the right solution given our needs. The installers did a fantastic job doing a clean install in the furnace room, despite having little room to operate in a finished basement (very happy I didn't need to patch drywall after!). From what I researched, HRV installations can be rather involved, so I wanted to employ a company that was experienced in order do things right first time. Highly recommended.

    New A/C unit

    I'm so glad I went with Buttons Heating to replace my A/C unit. Todd came and gave me an estimate and treated me like family. John and his crew installed the unit and were nothing short of professional. They kept me in the loop as to what they were doing, they covered the floors with tarps to protect my floors and were extremely kind. They too treated me like family. I would recommend them in a heartbeat and I know that they will always have my business.

    Initial Inspection

    I reached out to Button after solely relying on their HomeStar review. Knowing that my blower fan was making noise, I had already been informed by a friend that it needed to be replaced. Marlene had informed me that a maintenance call would be able to clean the furnace and confirm the problem. However, I was instead scheduled for a "diagnostic" despite already telling them my problem. The service tech was nice and professional but would spend 5 minutes looking at the unit before agreeing and charging me $180. No tools ever came out and ended with 15 minutes of up-sell - where my working utilities (furnace, water tank and a/c) should all be "considered" for replacement. After the tech departed, I also discovered a noise in my furnace and realized that the filter had not been properly reinserted - with a few broken tabs and causing noise. Picture attached. After contacting Marlene on both frustrations, they would deny both. Claiming the tech did not make a mistake, the e-mail ends with her trying to close a sale and stating that they would be willing to waive the fee with a $5k new furnace purchase. Talked with Mark after who was understanding and corrected the situation.

    Our Policy is to do our own diagnostic we try not accept Homeowners or other Companies diagnostic procedures from experience they tend not to be accurate. (As explained to the Customer in Marlene’s email of April 7th). Our normal procedure is for a service to be generated at our Customer’s expense, the Technician will assess the situation and inform the Customer what is needed and quote on the repair or suggest if the equipment is worth the repair due to age of equipment or price of repair. As per our GPS System my Technician was there for 45 minutes discussing with the Customer his options. There were unfortunately more issues with the furnace than just the blower motor. If this Customer would have requested a repair or a furnace cleaning at that time my Technician would have completed as directed. Our Technicians do not refuse a Customer’s wishes unless it’s unsafe. This however was not relayed to my Technician at the time. My Technician did explain that normally the repair should be done first before the cleaning as this may affect our readings. He did however remove the filter for inspection and because of the age of the filter plastic brackets one or two of the tabs possibly could of broke off, this is quite “common as explained”. If there is something that we have done accidently, our Policy is to return at no charge to repair the situation, we did not know there was an issue until Monday morning through email. I have spoken with the Customer and we are returning to do a Furnace cleaning at ‘no charge’ as per the repair he does not want to go ahead at this time. Mark Wagler Service Manager

    Inspection & Servicing & Cleaning of two gas fireplaces

    I purchased a home earlier this year that required numerous large renovations. Repair or maintenance of the two gas fireplaces were left to the end as I had no idea what condition they were in and was afraid to light them. Inram's response to my phone call was surprisingly quick and he set an appointment immediately. He called me in advance of arriving to let me know he was on his way and arrived right on time. He inspected and repaired both fireplaces. His work ethics were unbelievably impressive. He literally cleaned everything around him and the fireplaces were pristine clean. I mentioned that the upstairs fireplace needed to be painted and before I knew it, he pulled out pieces of cardboard and spray painted the frame of the fireplace. It looks like new! He added material in both fireplaces that when lit, looks like I have ashes in the grate. I can't say enough about the customer service that this man provided. Since I had no idea what condition these two fireplaces were in, he could have suggested all sorts of expensive repairs - quite the contrary. He told me that the fire place in the rec room was very old but since it was still working, he suggested I wait and see how it performed before thinking about replacing it. I will undoubtedly be calling him for servicing this fall.

    Furnace Replacement

    With a 15 year old furnace threatening to seize up at any moment, we began our search for its replacement. After several quotes, Todd Button arrived at our door, and we were immediately sold on his professionalism and personability. He wasn't a hard-sell kind of person, but gave us the straight goods on what our options were. Within a couple of days the team of Mike and Mike were at our home and replaced the furnace and filter system. They thoroughly explained what they were about to do, and the changes that they'd be making to meet current exhaust and intake requirements, and within a few short hours the new furnace was up and running. We really appreciated that they cleaned up after themselves and were conscientious about their impact while in our home. Thanks, guys, you were great. And, yes, Todd, you were right. The new furnace is much quieter than the old one.

    Furnace & A/C install and service

    We have been using Button's since 2004. We've had them do all of our HVAC service on 2 different furnaces and an A/C unit. We've also had a new furnace and new A/C unit installed by them. They are so kind and conscientious as well as being professional. They are on-time, reliable and honest. They are an awesome small/local/family business, and you can feel it with every transaction. Highly recommend!

    Replace Old AC unit with a New Trane XR16

    I have been a Buttons customer for the last 3 years. Back then we had replaced our Furnace and Water Heater. Todd an John did an excellent job with the installation back then. I have continued to use Buttons for my yearly service on the furnace. I called Buttons to get a quote on replacing my old AC unit. An appointment was set up with Todd a couple days later. We new we were going to use Buttons for the replacement as it was never a question about the service and reliability of Buttons. Todd provided all the information we needed to make a "non pressured" decision. We gave the OK and the Unit was installed 3 days later. The installers came in on time and took all but 3 hrs to have the ne unit up and running. They explained a lot and answered all my questions. Thanks Todd and the Buttons crew for a job well done. Keep up the good work.

    furnace, water heater purchase and installation

    Christmas time last year Mario came by to see what was wrong with my furnace as it stopped working two days before holidays. So we were very glad as it would take others a week to come out. It was determined that our furnace was running on its last legs as it was 15 years old. Within a day I had a new furnace and work was done very well and guys cleaned up thoroughly before they left. This year when it came to change waterheater I knew right away who to contact and again and again very good experience and also competitive pricing.
