    Heat = Happiness in Winter & Cool = Joy in Summer

    We came home from work on a cold day in January and found that our furnace had stopped working. It was Friday and the chance of someone coming that night was slim. We called the installer who installed the furnace with the builder and left several messages. We slept near the fireplace and when I didn't receive a call back later that Saturday afternoon from the original builder installer, I called Button's as they installed our A/C and were great to deal with. A service agent came that Saturday and diagnosed the problem. He didn't have the part on hand (Control Board) but said he would put in the order first thing on Monday and said it should also be under warranty! Monday morning, Button's called to book the repair that day! Again, under warranty as Mario the service tech that who diagnosed the problem was brilliant enough to take the extra effort. Richard came that Monday and repaired the furnace under warranty that Button's didn't even install! All I paid for was the diagnosis and service call. Thank you Button's for the continued great service when others don't even bother to promptly return urgent phone calls! Another Recent Buttons experience was with Jeff S. This past July, our A/C seemed to be weak. Maybe it was the extreme heat waves lately but it just seemed to be not as cool as I remembered it. So I called Button's to come take a look. Jeff S. came to diagnose the possible issue. He confirmed that the TX valve was malfunctioning and needed to be replaced. All under warranty too. He also asked me a few questions on what filter I use, which vents I had open/closed, how I used the unit, etc. He then gave me valuable advice on what I was doing wrong and how to make it better. Free advice! Something rare these days. He didn't have the replacement part on hand and said it would be ordered. A week went by and Button's called back to schedule the repair. Jeff S. came back and did the repair and tested it all to make sure it was working properly. Thanks to Jeff S. for the great service and advice. I do feel the A/C unit working better after his suggestions. Thanks again Buttons for employing the right people!

    AC

    They seem family operated, and they did a good job of doing the AC. The operator is very helpful, he even ask me to call one of his other family members for help with some questions. I thought that was pretty cool. Also Todd is a great, he try to answer and tells you stuff honestly. He told me what not to install and what to for my house even thought it could mean business to him. Docked one star because my intermittent fan was turning on the AC even though is off, and i was told it was the builders issue, but it seems they should have caught an issue during tests?

    Installation of Duct Work, Gas Furnace and A/C.

    This is the second time that we experience the great service of Button's Heating. The first time was some years ago with the installation of an A/C and a whole house filter. This time (different and older house) we went for a major job, i.e. Duct work, Gas Furnace, and A/C. The whole process from design to installation was professionally done. Todd Button is an excellent sales and company representative, and the installation team led by Justin was fantastic. The attention to detail was very comforting. Thank you again for a job well done! I fully recommend Button's Heating for your HVAC needs.

    Replacement furnace and A/C

    The installation went smoothly and the team were friendly and left our basement in good order when they were finished. The equipment has been running without issue since the install in February.

    Install AC unit/Clean Furnace

    When I reached out to the company they contacted me right away. Todd was very punctual and professional to the consultation visit. I did my researched and had 6 quotes, but decided to go with Buttons Heating because of the professionalism and service that I received from Todd. The price was definitely not the cheapest, it was actually on a much higher end, but the quality of work and product has been well worth the money. The technicians that came to do the work delivered the same level of service as Todd. They left our place cleaner than when they arrived. We are so glad we did our homework and paid more for better service. Even our neighbours voiced their satisfaction with the technicians and how quite the unit was. We got a Daikin with 12 years parts and labour.

    Air Conditioner

    We called Button's because of a very high recommendation from our neighbour. Todd Button came & listened to our requirements. He thoroughly explained all of the options available to us. It was like having a nice conversation, peppered with questions & answers. Justin & the team arrived on time & each person immediately set about working on the various jobs involved with removing the old A/C & installing the new. When they were finished, Justin patiently explained everything to my overly inquisitive husband. They cleaned up so well, even sweeping the driveway, that there wasn't a screw or washer to be found. Button's also took care of the paper work for the Heating & Cooling Incentive rebate. I would highly recommend Button's Heating & Air Conditioning.

    Air Conditioner, Furnace and water tank

    Buttons Heating and Air Conditioning installed a new A/C, furnace and water tank in my home in June 2016 and did a fantastic job! Todd Button did our quote and my husband and I were so impressed with his professionalism. He was friendly, funny and very personable. He was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy at all with sales. He explained all of our options to us and didn’t force anything. He knows his stuff! The installation team was amazing. They were kind, friendly and very respectful of our home. They laid carpets down for walking on and vacuumed up after they were done. The furnace room was left cleaner than when they arrived and they actually created more room with the way the set up the furnace and water tank and duct work . This was a huge improvement to the original design. Buttons is the only company my family will use or recommend as we were so impressed.

    New A/C & Furnace

    When our A/C stopped working, we were happy that we had a maintenance service plan, however the company we had the plan with informed us that our plan did not cover the issues we had and that our best course of action would be a new unit. After calculating the amount of money we had spent on a service plan that was essentially useless, we decided to look elsewhere for our new unit. Button's Heating was one of our choices. They were out to our home in less than a day and gave us an amazing level of service even during the quote phase. Once we decided to go with them. Todd Button himself came and walked us through the process which was ahead of schedule and on budget. They even followed up with a call two weeks later to see how things were running. I would recommend Button's Heating to anyone. Thanks Button's Heating!

    AC/Furnace Replacement

    I have been slow writing this review. However we needed to replace our furnace and AC last year as we where having air quality problems in our home. Mitch gave us a very detailed description of the equipment, all the pros/cons of the new system. We had gathered a bunch of other quotes, but didn't like the conflicting information. Mitch cleared all this up for us. The team from Buttons installed both last May. We have had no issues with the new Daikin setup. Very clean and efficient system.

    Furnace, A/C, & Tankless W/H install

    Mitch provided us with a very informative consultation and described the various options available. He was transparent about the pros/cons and costs for each. Mitch was thorough and ensured that we understood all aspects of the planned install. Not only does the new equipment save money and conserve energy, but the re-designed installation has given us back 25 square feet of usable space in what is a very small utility/laundry room. The install crew was on time, polite, and efficient without cutting corners on quality. All pipes run out of the way and are secured properly to joists, walls, and floors. Renee handled all the necessary paperwork to return the old water tank to the previous provider (who shall not be named...) which held the rental agreement we assumed when purchasing our home. I rarely post comments (good or bad...) but we were so impressed with Buttons Heating, that we were compelled to do so. Cheers!
