    New Furnace and A/C and Ongoing Maintenance

    About a year ago I had a new furnace and air conditioner installed by Buttons Heating. The salesperson (Todd) was very knowledgeable and I ended up with the right products at the right price. Installation was done quickly and on time. A year has gone by and I am still very satisfied. I just had my annual maintenance done and the technician (Dan) was friendly, on time, and did good work at a fair price. I highly recommend Buttons Heating.

    Hot Water Heater Installation

    I recently had my water heater replaced by Todd and the team at Button's Heating Inc. Todd came by and recommended a few other suggestions to clean up the installation from the previous install too. The crew came by and the installation and water heater tank removal was quick and efficient and they also through correcting some plumbing issue fixed my humidifier in the process. The final result was a very clean and impressive installation. I would recommend Button's to my friends and family.

    New Water Heater, Furnace and AC

    Had a water heater leak on a 38 year old unit (not a surprise), Not wanting to continue the rental game, I call Button's Heating. I hear their ads on the radio all the time. They were very busy but said they would call me back in 5 minute. In my head I am saying "Yeah, like that is going to happen". Sure enough a received a call in 5 minutes and was told that since all the regular service guys were very busy, they would send the sales rep out instead to make sure I was taken care of right away. Todd Button, the sales rep, is also a licensed pipe fitter and he took care of our problem and replaced the tank. We then decided to replace our 50 year old furnace that was sure to die at any time. Todd went through all of our options, potential savings, financing and warranties. We signed the deal and a week later the furnace arrived. I might add that two days prior to install we recieved a very friendly reminder call about the Monday install. Monday morning Justin, Alan and Richard arrived and started to work. Very clean, organized and extremely professional. Justin was and artist with the duct work and also has all his fingers, which is a testament to his care and experience (sheet metal workers suffer many severe cuts from their work). Alan took care of the AC unit. He obviously has done this many times and he was super quick. It was a great crew. Later that evening we had a follow-up visit from Todd to make sure that everything was OK and we were happy, nice touch! I would not only endorse Button's Heating I would encourage you to have them come to your house. I feel totally confident that we received a fair deal on our purchase, but we got more than our monies worth on the service. Paul

    Trane Furnace, Daikin Air Conditioner & Navien Tankless Water Heater Installations

    Our apologies to Todd for the lateness of this review, but better late than never. We were first introduced to Button’s almost six years ago while looking at furnaces in the Trane booth at the Home Show. We had a few other highly rated companies from Home Stars quote a new furnace as well, but Todd was a wealth of information, helped get us the best refund from a government incentive and had the best warranty (included parts not just labour). He was also very personable and avoided any pressure tactics. Two years ago we were in the market to replace our hot water tank with a tankless system and for a new air conditioner. Again we received quotes from a few other highly rated Home Stars companies, but once again Todd’s knowledge, price and warranty were solid. For the tankless hot water system, Todd recommended running a recirculation line on the ceiling of our unfinished basement which the tankless system would periodically replenish with hot water to reduce the time for hot water to reach the faucets, something none of his competitors recommended. When replacing the air conditioner a new location was needed because due to the slope at the side of the house the previous homeowners had allowed the old one to be mounted on a metal brackets attached to the house, instead of it being on solid ground. When looking for a new location we didn’t want it in front of a window or showing at the front of the house, which were the best flat locations, but Todd told me to trust him, and in the end the installers placed it in a great spot.

    Furnace Cleaning and Humidifier Fixing

    Dan, provide friendly, courteous and detailed cleaning of the furnace. He gave me tips as he was working. He also fixed my humidifier as a part of the cleaning. It was a minor fix but done at no charge nonetheless! I would highly recommend and use again!

    Problem resolved

    After experiencing a major misunderstanding, Todd Button, Buttons Sales Rep stepped in to resolve the situation. As a result of Todd's actions, we are now again customers of Buttons and looking forward to experiencing a smooth and mutually satisfying relationship.     Installation of Trane AC, Furnance and air purification system

    Sales related feedback: I requested a very specific time slot to have a tech / sales consultant get me a quote. Nigel being the Sales Manager at Button's heating was the one who could make it as his team was busy with other visits. He was quite thorough and direct about what I require and what I don't (as opposed to the must have the other contractors had said). A few weeks later when I called him again beyond working hours and on a weekend he was more than willing to not only work on my call but also work a good deal that had just ended. It clearly showed me the extend that the Button's team would go to "EARN" my business. - Thanks a lot Nigel. Feedback Installation team: Installation was done on the planned date by Justin and Allan. They were very professional and did a fantastic job with the installation. They answered all our questions, explained me how the system works, cleaned up and left by 3.00 p.m. Great job done guys. Thanks a lot. Overall really satisfied with the sales and the install.

    New air conditioner and water heater

    Very knowledgeable and informed staff. Nigel gave great advice over the phone, including price, pros and cons of various AC units, and offered his honest non-sales and commission driven opinion. Very prompt at setting up appointments and giving call backs. Todd came to the house with a wealth of reading material, but also great knowledge and experience. He was a great resource, he was honest and up front about what needed to be replaced and what didn't. Answered all my questions, gave great advice and helped us pick the right unit for our needs. Very much customer service driven and him along with the entire company stand behind their name and their products and their service. Again very quick and easy to set up all appointments along with the install. Jonathan and Mark, the install technicians and Mario the service technician did a terrific job installing the unit and all the associated parts, making sure everything was set up right/correct and showing me how everything worked, and took the time to answer all my questions. Thr went above and beyond wiyh making the entire job look neat and professiinal. The office staff was great as well, very firendly, easy to reach, and very helpful. Great job overall, Button's Heating! Very impressed and highly recommended!

    New A/C

    A/C broke down on Thursday. Nigel came to my house on Friday to discuss options. Made a decision on Monday, called Nigel on Tuesday had A/C up and running on Wednesday (hottest day ever)! What more can I say! Service is excellent staff is pleasant and courteous. Installers explained everything that they did.

    New AC

    Needed a new AC during probably the busiest time of the year. When I called around for quotes, Nigel was willing to give me a rough idea of costs over the phone, as well as the difference between the different brands/units. After Nigel came out, Button`s ended up being the best value for what I felt I was getting and hired them. On the day of install, the crew showed up right at 8am as promised, put mats down through the house to ensure they left no mess, and managed to run the new lines without putting any holes or cuts into the basement ceiling. I would definitely recommend calling these guys if you are in the market for a new AC unit.
