    Fireplace Service

    I had issues with getting my gas fireplace to start. I called Button's and had someone come out right away. The serviceman Mario was very friendly and efficient. It was diagnosed quickly and repaired on the spot. He gave me some great pointers and tips to help me in the future. I would say they went the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction. The treat you more like family than like a customer. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

    Air conditioning and furnace

    So rarely is one inclined to leave a review after a positive experience, much more so for a negative one. We found Buttons Heating through a Home Depot referral initially, and was very happy with the service we received. The installation was fast and friendly. When our home builder furnace failed after a few years, we turned to Buttons for a replacement and have been very happy with the quality of workmanship also. Servicemen look after our warranteed articles when the see potential faults, showing us that customer care is genuine and not just a slogan. Technician Richard is the impetus of my positive review today. I can confidently recommend their services to anyone.

    Replaced Blower in Furnace

    "I had my furnace blower replaced on the last heat wave (48 degrees celcius that day). I had called other companies including the manufacturer and no one could really help me. Everyone else said the work couldn't be done for days, etc... I called Buttons and they came that night. Mark Wagler was the person who serviced our home and to our surprise he just dropped in and fixed our furnace on his way home! Overall, they gave me fabulous service, negotiated a price for my budget (and for after hours) and went above and beyond with their expertise and customer service! I would recommend them to anyone wanting their furnace serviced with superb quality and customer service!

    Trane furnace

    When our furnace broke down in January, we had to shop around for a new furnace. We checked out other companies, but found Todd of Button's Heating sincere in explaining the features of the furnace. He put you at ease about the product and the company, Button's Heating. Todd and the team came to install the furnace. They did an excellent job and made sure everything was done right. This included laying covering on the floor and cleaning up afterwards. The furnace has worked flawlessly.

    New Trane XV95 Furnace & XR15 Air Conditioning Unit

    Button’s Heating and Air Conditioning is a First Class Company. It started with my first call to Button’s. Lidy was so friendly and personable..what a great first impression. Within a few minutes, Joe returned my call. We started talking about my HVAC issue and Joe explained the different brands that he carried and the various features for each model. Joe was very open with sharing his experiences and answering my many questions over the phone. After establishing a good rapport with Joe, I (not Joe) asked if we could schedule a face-to-face meeting at my home (you just can’t invite any stranger to survey your home and its contents). Joe arrived at my home at the scheduled time which was greatly appreciated. I believe Button’s follow the golden rule of treat others as one would like others to treat oneself. Joe is as friendly and honest in person as on the phone. After listening to my needs and concerns, he recommended the Trane XV95 Furnace and the XR15 air conditioning condenser with associated evaporator coil. The $$ Joe quoted for the complete removal of the existing units and installation was not the cheapest and Joe was honest to say that if I searched around, I could find a lower price for the equivalent system. But we know that there is truth to the old adage “you get what you pay for” in the long run you will be paying more if one just takes the lowest upfront cost. Out of curiosity (and as a sanity check) I obtained a couple of quotations from other companies found in this website. One quotation was an astonishing $3K cheaper but for an equivalent Courier system. The other was similar to Joe’s quote. The reason why I didn’t go for the cheapest $$ was that I could never get in contact with this Courier guy; he never answered his mobile phone plus his voice mail was full….a red flag for me. On the other hand, whenever I called Joe (even on a Sunday) he would pick up or call back within the hour. The installation went very smoothly. Mike, Russell and Dan (aka Rusty) arrived as promised. They were friendly and professional. They all knew what they needed to do and they did an excellent job. The piping and duct work were neat and clean (i.e. plumb and square). It has been 1 month since the install and everything is working perfectly..I’m very happy with the Trane system. As a bonus, Button’s completed the paperwork for the OPA rebate..a nice touch. Thank you Button’s..a job well done!

    New central A/C to replace my old one

    In 2007, the fantastic crew at Button's replaced my old furnace with a Trane which heats nicely and is quiet, and because of their reliable yearly inspection/cleaning service, I called them again last week during a bad heatwave to quote on a replacement central A/C as my very old one had finally taken its last breath. The Comfort Consultant, Pete, took my house and finance needs into account and recommended a realiable Goodman 13 SEER A/C, and didn't try to oversell me to something I couldn't afford and didn't need, to cool my tiny house. He got the installation scheduled quickly and the install crew was knowledgeable, respectful, and made sure no waste was left behind. Even the Button's office team I've interacted with over the years, Alison and Lydie, always offer me the best in customer service whenever I've called, and so I would recommend Button's to everyone. Note: I'm very critical when it comes to work done and the wildly over-expensive quotes given on my house improvements and repairs, and I wouldn't recommend alot of firms but I can honestly say for A/C and Heating, you won't find a service better than Buttons'.

    Install of Air Conditioning Unit

    I would happily recommend the guys from Button Heating & Air Conditioning. Not only are they very easy to deal with, answer every question thoroughly and patiently and are very reasonably priced, but they know what they're doing and they do it extremely well. I am completely satisfied with their service and that is an understatement. They did a fabulous job. Thanks Todd!

    Replaced furnace

    Mike, Don and Rusty arrived EARLY to replace our old furnace. Not only did they do a great job, but they were pleasant, patient, answered all of my questions and cleaned up their mess. I would recommend Button's to anyone.

    installation of central air conditionning

    Button's Heating and A/C provided installation of my central air con. I had previously called one other company and felt that Button's was far superior - the 2 quotes were similar, but the sales person was more knowledgeable and more thorough than the other guy. Installation was tricky as I had just had the basement renovated (!), so the fellows had to re-route the wiring and so forth. They could have made me feel bad for this oversight on my part, but they didn't. They did the job in an afternoon; they were polite, professional and had great senses of humour! Would definitely recommend them, and would use them again.

    New Furnace (removal of boiler /rads) New AC

    Thanks to Rick L. in Sales, John and his crew (furnace), Todd, Jonathan and Mike (air conditioner). All of these men made life so easy for us when we had to upgrade our old boiler to a forced air system.What seemed so intimidating a project to us as homeowners was completed 'effortlessly' by John an his crew. The crew did a beautiful job. A year and a half later, when we needed an AC we didn't hesitate to call Buttons for the job. Unlike some other 'experts' in the field, the people at Buttons show up for their appointments, answer their phones, or return phone calls right away (even on weekends). Honest and dependable.
