    New Furnace & Air Conditioner

    We were extremely pleased with the response, the service and the installation of our new furnace and air conditioner. The crew was great. We will definitely recommend this company to others.

    New gas furnace, air conditioner and air filter

    The Button's Heating staff made the whole experience very easy. They explained our options, providing us the the information we need to make the best selections for our home. We are very happy with the service they provide and found all their staff very helpful and professional.

    New furnace and ductwork

    The work included installation of a new high efficiency furnace, humidifier and thermostat, and moving my gas water heater to a different location and re-lining the chimney for it. I contacted 6 HVAC companies. Some did not seem to want to take on a job of this scope and complexity. After talking to Joe several times, I decided to have Button’s do the job. Furnace and ductwork were installed according to the drawing and specifications. The work started on time and was completed in the estimated time. There was a small glitch with the furnace itself which had a defective part. After I reported the problem a technician came promptly to replace the part. I am very happy with the service I have received.

    A/C Repair (due to poor installation of a new furn

    The best companies do well in handling complaints and moments of dispute with the customer. In my experience unfortunately, Buttons fared very poorly when handling a concern I had over my A/C being disconnected when they installed a new furnace for me.     Dear Gino, Gino, we have been in communication over the past several months with regards to this situation. We regret that you felt the need to post this onto HomeStars without accepting our gestures of goodwill offered to you, the offer of a free annual maintenance on your furnace (a $149 value) or half payment of the charge from your other service call. We offer free quotes on new systems, but we do not offer free diagnostic calls. The charge is perhaps waived if you purchase a new system from us if it is determined that the system is not repairable and the more cost effective choice is a new system. You spoke to our salesman Pete Donald who sold you your new furnace in February 2007. Pete recommended that you call our service department... Pete also advised you that if the problem was related to our installation in any way, then there would be no charge, but if it was NOT related to our installation, then you would be charged for the service call - if we had been given the opportunity to go and see the unit, we would have been able to determine that there was a problem with the installation and that it was indeed a non-chargeable call. Gino, you chose to call another service company who, naturally, charged you for the service call. After you had paid the other company for their service call, you then called us and requested to be reimbursed for the call. We again mentioned to you our policy with regards to QUOTES and SERVICE CALLS as in the paragraph above and as a gesture of goodwill, we offered you a free annual maintenance service on your new furnace when due, a $149 value, or we would pay you for half of the service call that you had had, but you did not go for either of these options.     Thermostat replacement

    I called Button's Heating at 4pm on a Wednesday. It was 35C in the shade and had been for the last two days. My central air had conked out two days ago and we had suffered for two nights. At 6pm THAT SAME NIGHT a guy from Button's came over and found out it was a failed thermostat, and a half hour later my A/C was back on. He went through the rebates with me and was done in an hour (he joked that the paperwork took longer than the work done, which was true). Since my furnace is from 1961 (original to the house) and the A/C is from 1988, I've decided to use Button's this fall to replace everything. They're absolutely fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone in Scarborough or the GTA, for that matter.

    ductwork

    After two years of trying to get someone (anyone!) to come to my home to give me a quote on upgrading some ductwork on my home, I called Button's on the recommendation of a friend. I called them Monday, Joe came on Saturday to give me a quote, and the ductwork was installed on Tuesday. I couldn't believe it! Other contractors hadn't even returned my calls. The work crew was polite, efficient and clean. The cost was below what I had anticipated. I will call them as soon as I'm ready to replace my furnace and airconditioning system.

    New furnace, water heater, duct work, air conditio

    I did brand comparison shopping, Trane was more expensive than the others but I felt I would get better service. Joe was great, he provided choices and even suggested rearranging appliances in laundry room to provide more space. The 3 man crew was skilled & professional, working quickly & efficiently. They were careful not to dirty the house,took shoes off when working upstairs. The new furnace, air conditoner,water heater & duct work were installed in one day. The furnace is very quiet & temperature is now consistent throughout the house.The crew left the place clean moved back the washer & dryer(levelled them too). I am very happy with the installation & have recommended the company to others. Warranty offered was best in industry. Service was second to none.

    Install Furnace

    A Friend recommended the furnace for which Buttons Heating is the distributor. They were professional and did a very good job with the installation.

    Relocate AC Unit

    I was every impressed with the service that I received from Button's. They arrived on time and worked like dogs until the job was done. I will be using them the next time I need furnace or Ac work done.

    New High Efficiency Furnace & Hot Water Tank

    Did lots of shopping around, including at the Fall Home Show, where I met Pete from Button's. He sounded like he really knew his stuff so I had him come out and give me a quote. He asked WAY more questions about our needs, our existing system, what we wanted etc. than anybody else. I got a great vibe from him about the company, family owned, 30 years of service, etc. His price, on an approximately $5000 job was only a few hundred more than Home Depot for EXACTLY the same system. I am what you could call a picky customer and was fairly convinced HD just wouldn't be quite as careful or conscientious so I went with Button's. They were AWESOME. The 3 man crew of installers arrived (one of them being from the family that owns the company) and worked all day with almost no breaks etc. They were very careful about our floors and walls when bringing in new quipment and taking out the old stuff. Their installation is VERY neat and tidy and they cleaned everything up beautifully. We had one minor issue very early the next morning and called their pager number. We got a call back in less than 15 minutes and two guys arrived to take care of it for us within a couple of hours. VERY happy with all aspects of the company and how they do business. I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this firm to anybody who wants a great experience in what can potentially be a very expensive and overwhelming process. Thank you all very much.
