My experience with Canadian Choice windows has been a very positive one, overall. I first dealt with Alexey, who came to our home to provide a quote for windows. He clearly understood the windows business, and patiently listened and offered suggestions concerning our needs. At no time did we feel pressured to buy, either during or after his visit. He seemed more a consultant than a sales person.
Because I was unsure as to whether new windows would ultimately resolve the condensation problem we were experiencing, I ultimately decided to buy just one window for now. Alexei was fine with that, and indicated the waiting time for installation would be 6-12 weeks. The installer arrived at about the 5-week period to do the job. Arranging for the installation required contact with the office, which was another very positive experience. I believe the name of lady I talked with on several occasions was Audrey, although I don’t remember for sure. In any event, she was also knowledgeable, and incredibly pleasant, helpful and understanding.
After the window was installed, I noticed a small crack in the middle pane. The installer took pictures of the crack, and indicated a new triple pane panel was needed and would take 3-4 weeks to arrive. This time, the wait was slightly more than 4 weeks, but, still, almost on schedule.
The window itself is a very nice sliding unit, and gives our kitchen a more modern feel. We had a wood motif running throughout the main level of the house, and I imagined vinyl would cheapen the wood look, somehow. I was wrong.
Should I decide to replace other windows in the spring, I will definitely choose Canadian Choice again.
