AC servicing
We have dealt with Cosmopolitan Mechanical for a few years now and I cannot recommend them enough. Ather is the technician who works with us. He is very professional and thorough. What I really like about Ather is that he takes the time to explain what he is doing and why he is doing it. He gives clear recommendations on what we can do to improve our AC performance and he does not try to sell us on anything, which I like as well. Also a thumbs up to James who schedules are appointments, he was able to resolve a conflict for us this time around, no moaning or complaining about a mistake I made, just accomodated us which I really appreciated. Thanks guys!

Air Conditioner Repair
The central air conditioner fan stopped working. When the AC was on, I could hear a humming noise but the fan was not moving. I called these guys, they were very polite on the phone. Scheduled an appointment for the next day. The technician showed up on time. He was very nice guy. Right away he figured out it was the capacitor. Did a very clean job with the repair. My only complain is the cost. Changing a capacitor should be $150 job, maximum $200. But these guys charged $300 which is $100 to $150 over what I would consider a fair price.

Quick, Honest Great Service
Had ice build up, called Arshad one night and he was in the next morning. It does not get any better. Quickly checked the freon level, filled up and gave important advice on how to avoid ice build up. Recommend Arshad unconditionally.

Furnace and Air Conditioning Installation
Everything went well through the sales process, and arranging the installation. An installation issue occurred and although the technician initially assigned to the job failed to follow through, the company management did follow up satisfactorily and we expect that the issue will be resolved very soon. I do commend the company on working to follow up on the issue as soon as they were informed of it. Note second review added. Two years later we are still dealing with the poor installation. Only way to get action with this company is to explain issues on this site. Avoid.

AC Repair
I just want to commend two Cosmopolitan employees that recently serviced my broken AC. Arthur and Ashad from Cosmopolitan were outstanding and beyond my expectation. Both deserve to be recognized for their quality service and job! Both service man explained what was wrong with my AC and provided resolution. Typically I am skeptical with these companies but their service was so good that I had to write a review. Thank you to you both, Ashad and Arthur for servicing my AC. The AC works great and my daughter is sleeping comfortably again.

Excellent Repair Services
I am a new owner of this house. rheem furnace & Air Conditioner is installed in my home. Last week my air conditioner was not blowing cold air, I called cosmopolitan in evening time, and they sent athar within 2 hours. Athar is very professional. He answered all of my questions He fixed the problem on the same visit. After the repair he also serviced my AC. I am very happy, will hire them again and I will recommend others as well.

Air Conditioner repair
After being told by a couple of companies that service wouldn't be available for at least a week, I found Cosmopolitan Mechanical services. The friendly man told me they would come by in a day. We couldn't be happier with the technician's friendliness/service/professionalism. Hi name is Ather and I would totally recommend him. He had our A/C running in 5 minutes! Saved us that (hot) weekend!

Superb Installation
Last week my Air Conditioner was broken. I am still out of town. My father lives in the house and he is 76. I contacted the Cosmopolitan to replace my Air Conditioner as I am using this company from many years. I always found Cosmopolitan good in all way. No words to describe about the installed Air Conditioner. I can only attached the image of the installed unit so that every come to know about this company.

Great service - until you've paid!
Paid $8,000 for a furnace and A/C just over a year ago. Worked great for one full year, but when we turned the A/C on to use it for the 2nd summer, it's not working and a giant ball of ice has formed around the pipe. Called Cosmopolitan and told we'd have to wait 2 weeks to get someone over and that their work is only guaranteed for 1 year so we would have to pay to repair their shoddy workmanship - Bravo Cosmopolitan! Yet another company whose service is only good until you pay! Shopping for another company to repair their mess now... UPDATE: After a few calls and some social media shaming, a representative magically showed up unannounced at our door the same day. The problem was therefore promptly fixed. The company tried blaming the customer care centre for the poor customer service. As far as I'm concerned, companies need to learn that if they choose to outsource their customer service, that contractor becomes the face of their company so they should really think twice about outsourcing such a crucial part of their service on which their reputation depends. Also, the company requested several times that I take this post down, and even asked their technician to request this as well. This to me seems quite unacceptable and shows poor judgement rather than a true concern for customer satisfaction. However, if you are lucky enough to get Ather as your technician, you will most definitely be satisfied with the service he provides!

Air conditioner york
I requested cosmopolitan mechanical services to install a quite air conditioner at my house. EJ recommended York air conditioner. We had the air conditioner installed. Installation was excellent. Ac is very very quite. We are satisfied.
