Deeply disappointed.They charged us for an assessment only to tell us - after repeated delays and deferrals - they were not capable of undertaking the job. So we paid $113 to be told we needed a new AC system...which we already knew. No idea why they've been well-reviewed previously....very unprofessional.

We had our furnace and AC installed by Cosmopolitan Heating and Cooling Services and were very pleased with their service. For the past 3 years Ather (the company's senior service technician) has been coming to our house for our annual maintenance check-up and he has been excellent, professional and going the extra mile with his workmanship - providing great advice and helpful tips. 12 years in the service, we trust his expertise. Super friendly and always calls before his appointments to provide us with a time of arrival. We are very pleased with his service and are happy to know we are in good care.

Ather Hasan took excellent care of our needs. He was professional, knowledgeable on our products, thorough in his maintenance and caring to ensure we felt comfortable with every aspect of the service.

Based on Homestar reviews I called Cosmopolitan and asked for Ather.. Despite a few bad experience with other companies Ather was great and he really knows his craft. Ather was friendly, courteous and knowledgeable educating me in on my AC as I showed interest. Most importantly, he fixed my A/C unit which other contractors could not fix. He advised me why the problem may have occurred and what the solution would be if it happens again. Which is not to replace the entire unit as I imagine most would suggest. I would highly recommend Ather has he is a true professional. He also called me a few days later to see if my A/C was still working, which shows that he really cares about his customers. Very fast and effective. I called on the hottest day of the year and they came that evening to provide diagnosis and fixed the unit the following day. Very satisfied.

We had Cosmopolitan redo all of our Duct work, install new gas lines and install a new water heater. Shan was super helpful and kept us informed during the entire process. His crew did an exceptional job and we are really happy with every aspect of the job. The price was reasonable and I would recommend them for any HVAC job you have.

These are seriously the best guys to have worked on my house. The team were so friendly and listened to every I wanted and executed it as agreed. They kept on checking with me whenever a big decision had to be made and when them were done they tidied up immaculately. They were so professional, so good, I'd give these guys 20 stars if I could I'm that happy with their job.

Based on homestars reviews I called the company and had a same day appointment scheduled which was appreciated. The service man Raffi came and for the cost of $100 diagnosed the problem as a faulty compressor that would need to be replaced. Given that it was a compressor problem only I decided to exchange the piece on my own.

Thanks Ather Hasan, for another well-performed A/C maintenance! We are loyal Cosmopolitan A/C and furnace maintenance customers, and always happy with Mr. Ather Hasan as our service specialist. Our Lennox air conditioner was installed by Cosmopolitan, and we call every fall and spring for furnace and A/C preventive maintenance. I appreciate Ather's customer oriented approach, technical expertise (I'm an engineer myself), and always helpful recommendations. Thank you Ather and CMS, and we'll see you again this fall for our furnace.

Our AC was not cooling at all, so we were not sure if it was the refrigerant inside or what the issue was. Ather was the Technician who came by and he was very knowledgeable. The AC is an old unit of 15-18 years, but I was not ready to change this year although it may come in the next year or so. Ather ran a diagnostic and was fairly quick and accurate in his assessment. He did a cleaning of the coils on each side and after he finished the repair, the air coming out of the AC vents was cold again. The only draw back is that this repair cost $270 + tax for a service that was 1-3/4 hrs (w/o parts replacement). Ather was also suppose to get back to me with some replacement filter sizes that would fit the space for the electrostatic filters that we have, but he never called back...
