We recently acquired the need to get a quote on a new furnace in our home, as our 15 year old furnace was not showing signs of reliability for the coming winter. We took a moment a researched carefully a company that was well established and an expert in the field of heating and air conditioning; and we came across Cosmopolitan Mechanical Services on Homestars. Trusting the reviews here on Homestars, we went forward a called Cosmpolitan for a quote. EJ came over to our house and gave us a rough idea of what needed to be done, a couple of brands as well as size (we went with Lennox), and further some financing options that we available to us. I was really satisfied with what their company had to offer, and I scheduled the installation date for the coming Thursday. I have to say, they installation team did a fantastic job. At first we were having trouble moving around the equipment in the tight congested space in the basement. However, their team was very patient and worked towards resolving and working through the problem. The job took a couple of hours, and the workspace was left spotless. Unit was also disposed by them as well. I was really satisfied with the job done by Cosmopolitan Mechanical. Really happy with the services I received. Double thumbs up! :)

Ather completed our annual furnace/AC maintenance today This serviceman proved himself to to be a great asset not only to the company, but to us, as a satisfied customer. His punctuality, knowledge, professionalism and courteousness makes him a pleasure to deal with. He takes the time and effort to explain things to you. I would highly recommend him to my friends and family.

We had our annual furnace and humidifier maintenance performed again this year by cosmopolitan mechanical services. The technician who performed the service, named Ather H., was excellent. He was very professional and polite, and obviously very knowledgeable in his craft. I really appreciated that he took extra time to explain all the checks he was doing on our system and for the simple recommendations he gave us on how to keep the system running smoothly (e.g. flushing our water lines with vinegar periodically). I would definitely recommend this company to others.

I'm quite impressed with the maintenance job performed by Cosmopolitan Mechanical Services. They had arrived on time, layed out a process of what needed to be done (what had to be changed/cleaned/etc), and carried out all they had promised in an efficient manner. Workspace was left clean after the job, and the technician assured us all was well up and running at the end. I would give a hundred percent recommendation to them, definately deserving of a referral.

All I can say that I got an excellent Amana Furnace from cosmopolitan. We were thinking about fixing our 23 years old furnace. Cosmo tech give me an excellent advice not to wast my money on old stuff. So I decided to change the furnace. After the installation of new furnace I can say I made the right choice. New amana furnace is giving very good air in our upper floor.

Furnace is very smooth and providing good heat in the rooms where we were not getting enough heat before. We thank for Fred for doing such a great job.

our old furnace was almost 15 years years old. We had cleaning done on it. At the time of cleaning we discovered heat exchanger is about to go. We called cosmo for installing new furnace. Tod from cosmo came to our house and did an excellent job. thanks

We called cosmopolitan for new furnace. We found these guys very reliable and efficient. They came to our house and finished the work in five hours. Tod was the installer. Furnace is very quite.

Very quite furnace. I had my furnace installed by cosmopolitan. Installer was Fred. He came to our home on time with his helper. His work was very neat and clean. We recommend this company to all of our friend and family members.

When my air conditioner quit on a hot Sunday, I called Cosmopolitan Mechanical at 2 p.m. Ather H. was here by 6 p.m. (in the window they specified) He took about 10 minutes to diagnose the problem and gave me several tips to maintain my system. He actually had the part he needed in his truck. I was thrilled when the system came back on line before 7 pm. I certainly know who I will call for all furnace and air con services--especially if they are all like Ather. Excellent service when I needed it.
