    Air Conditioner

    It was so hot in our newely built house. We contacted few friends for air conditioner contractors. our friends told us about cosmopolitn mechanical. We called the company and talked to the representative EJ. He gave us a very good quote. He got our air contioner installed right next day. We would recomment them to our friends

    A/C annual maintenance

    We had our first annual maintenance visit from Cosmopolitan since getting a new A/C unit last year. Our service technician, Hasan Ather, definitely went above and beyond! He was friendly, very knowledgeable, and even took the time to explain everything he was doing to a very curious homeowner! We received very professional service, and great advice for us to avoid future problems with our HVAC. Highly recommended.

    Diagnose AC and replace capacitor

    The technician (Rafi) was on time, professional and very knowledgeable! The problems was diagnosed and fixed in minimal time. I was given a clear explanation as to what the problem and preventative maintenance tips on how to care for my AC unit moving forward. Would definitely recommend!!

    New Water Heater & AC Annual Maintenance

    Cosmopolitan has exceeded my expectations since I first bought AC/Furnace and installtion service from them a few years ago. Mr. Hasan Ather has been an honest and very capable "consultant" not only on the AC/Furnace issues but also in providing very constrcutive assessment and guidance on other aspects of managing various home systems. His timely guidance helped us avoid a potentially dangerous situation with our water heater. We wish there were more professionals in this business like Mr. Hasan Ather. Thanks you!

    Heating and Cooling Service

    We have had regular annual service for the four years we have owned our air conditioner and furnace we purchased from Cosmopolitan. They are very good at reminding us when the service is needed. Each year, Hasan Ather has been the service technician. He is pleasant, knowledgeable and takes pride in his work. He gives excellent explanations, is punctual and keeps us informed in case of a delay. It is nice to see that service is valued by this company and by Hasan in particular!

    Furnace

    I would say excellent excellent and excellent. there sales person EJ was excellent he helped us to chose great and quite Amana furnace. Instellaer Fred was excellent. he instaled the furnace. service department person Adam was excellent. He handeled my call politely. He provided an excellent customer service.

    A/C and Furnace Diagnostics

    I asked Cosmopolitan to inspect my A/C and furnace. I recently moved into this 10 years old house and was not sure about its A/C system conditions. I could get an appointment set pretty fast and easy. The technician (Rafi) made a deep inspection of both furnace and AC + checked humidifier without any extra cost. I got a detailed report and recommendation without any pushy sales. I certainly trust this company and will use them in future.

    Furnace Claening

    Service was performed in a very professional manner by Technician Hasan Ather. He was willing to explain what he was doing as he proceeded and provided a number of very helpful tips about small things that I could do improve the furnace's operation.

    Yearly system maintenance for furnace and air conditioner

    Cosmopolitan Mechanical Services was scheduled to do the yearly system maintenance for the furnace and air conditioner they installed in September 2009. I received a call from Hasan Ather who told me the time he would arrive. He arrived on time and when entering my home started to remove his shoes. I told him to leave them on as he was going to work in the basement on the cement floor (in the furnace room). Hasan Ather showed excellent skills and explained everything thoroughly as he cleaned and checked the central air conditioner and furnace. While he was working on taking a sensor out of the furnace to check and clean he answered all my questions and took the time to educate me on maintenance. You can tell Hasan Ather of Cosmopolitan Mechanical Services takes pride in treating their customers with respect, as the diagnostics and yearly system maintenance was done in a very professional manner. I strongly recommend Hasan Ather at Cosmopolitin for any work related to Air Conditioners and furnaces.

    Air conditioning repair, fireplace repair and updating of current gasoline

    We contacted this company on aug 9th and requested service on our condo for the 16th of August. We were told that someone would be there between the hours of 9am and 11am. We do not reside at this residence so we arranged our day around the appt. at 10 am I called to confirm the appt and was told I was wrong that they had told me they would be there by noon. I was told they would be there by 11am. We patiently waited and finally at 1150 am Dave showed up. Dave was a very nice man but it was quite disappointing when he came to replace an old gas line and failed to bring the materials with him. Dave however did fix the air conditioner. Which ended up costing the 129 plus 50 for putting refrigerant into the air conditioner. I'm not sure what the 129 was for. He did fix the fireplace which only cost 100. Dave requested that we be available on Tuesday at 5pm because he had training that day and wouldn't be available until then so I made arrangements with my tenant to leave work early on Tuesday to meet Dave. On Saturday aug 17 I called to make the appt for the Tuesday and was told yes no problem. I received a call on aug 19 from Kevin the manager who said Dave would have to be there at 330 on Tuesday. I explained this is not what he wanted and I'm not available then nor is my tenant. Kevin ensured me he would get it worked out for me. Tuesday at 330pm I received a call from Kevin telling me they were too busy to make the scheduled appt. of course I was very upset and asked Kevin if he was not going to show up for the appt which his employee scheduled. Kevin again assured me he would get someone out to my place. Well at 450 pm ten mins before my appt I get a call from Kevin telling me he can't have someone make it. I told him ok and he asked to reschedule. I told him no ill use someone else. I had forgotten that Dave had taken my red tag from enbridge which I require to prove I fixed the gas line. I had left it with Dave because he was supposed to return. I called Kevin back and left him a voicemail asking him to return my red tag as soon as possible. That was 5pm Tuesday. I never heard back from him. Based on all the reviews it's as if we had a different company dealing with us. They were not punctual not prepared for the job at hand and overall I was very unsatisfied with the customer service. This company is completely overrated and I'm extremely upset at how we were treated throughout all the issues we had with this company . I would never recommend this company. The cost for the fireplace and air conditioner was 350 I was quoted another 300 for the gas line to be fixed.
