The service was great. The office staff were well organized and courteous; a phone call was made to me to confirm the time of the appointment since I had a way to travel from work to meet the technician. The technician protected and kept the kitchen clean during the work. To top it off, the source of the blocked drain ended up being some roots which extended the job longer than expected. The snake got clogged with the roots and I expected him to show his anger and frustration, but that didn't happen. In my 44 years, this is my first positive story about plumbers or plumbing company.

I was feeling a little panicky when I discovered a pipe in my basement was leaking and in half a day the drips almost filled a bucket. On trying the yellow pages, Express Rooter was the first human response that I received, and the receptionist was so courteous and helpful that I immediately felt half my problems were over. The plumber, Vladimir, arrived later that day at the specified time, and took great care to explain exactly what needed to be done and to offer his advice based on knowledge and experience. As far as I can tell, he did an excellent job and I feel satisfied.

We had a backup in our basement drain, and we decided to hire Express Rooter. Through the discovery on Holmes on Holmes to come out and quote problem. After discussing all the options available, we ultimately decided on a scope/camera inspection to find the cause of the problem; roots in the drain pipe along with some other debris. Bob was professional, courteous and thorough when dealing with the issue. Kept everything clean and tidy even though the smell could not be helped when opening the cleanout. Within a short period of time he discovered at what point the problem had occurred and unclogged the back-up. How nice was that swoosh sound! With respect to everything that transpired I was very delighted in the patience Bob displayed regarding the multitude of questions I had asked. Would recommend and hire this company again to do future work.

I used them on two different occasions (recently and last winter). I had a sewer that was backed up and coming back through a drain in the floor of the laundry room. They came out and snaked the full line all the way to the street 80-90 feet or so, removed the blockage, and made everything work again. I also had some copper pipes that burst last winter due to cold weather and then there was water spraying everywhere. They came over and repaired three different breaks and helped prevent future breaks from happening. Just outstanding! Both calls were on rental properties that I manage and both calls were after hours. The first was a Saturday night and they sent someone out who not only fixed the problem, but also took the steps to explain everything to me. He was very helpful and helped me to understand why this happened as well as what we could do to prevent it.

Great service, workmanship, educational. Work was done properly and very clean. Bob and his team did an excellent job! We couldn't be happier. A big thanks to everyone at Express Rooter!!

I totally remodeled my bathroom! I decided to call Express Rooter for an estimate. When Rob arrived he was very very innovative. He had ideas that turned out to have remarkable effects. He even threw in ideas of faucets and sinks! I must say my concern was prices. Rob not only made the assets affordable, but the labor was as well. This company has it all! From the great customer service, to the amazing technicians. Thanks a bundle!

When I woke up in the morning I heard an ocean-like sound from outside. Hoping it wasn't coming from my house, I investigated to find that my hose faucet pipe was gushing water under my deck (where it then leaked into the basement, but that's another problem for another contractor). I tried and failed to reach another plumber, and finally tried Express Rooter at around 11:00am. The person who answered the telephone was friendly and efficient, and she arranged for someone to come to my house between 12 and 2 that same afternoon. Rob arrived on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and the cause (no inside shutoff valve to the hose faucet, shoddy plumbing when hose faucet was installed). He gave me an estimate to fix the burst pipe and also install valves on that and my other hose faucet so this wouldn't happen again. He even gave me an instruction sheet on how to shut off the faucets in fall.The work was completed quickly and correctly, and Rob left everything clean and tidy. He was friendly, good-humoured and patient with my four-year-old's questions. All in all a very satisfying end to a stressful day.

ExpressRooter saved the day. I had a sewer that was over flowing out of a pipe in my front yard. Jason one of the drain techs, came out and snaked out my sewer line and showed me what was wrong. He had a camera to show me what the problem was and how we could fix it. The quality of his work and his professionalism just blew me away. Before he even started the work he knew where the problem was going to be and how long it would take. There is not a bad thing I can say about Jason. It’s great to know there are still companies out there that believe in quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Thank you so much Jason & ExpressRooter!!

From the first call to the finished work, every step was absolutely pefect. Bob made us feel important as customers. The crew were great and very clean, courteous and professional. Also hard working. We could definitely recommend your company to others.

When I think of a professional and super competent company, Express Rooter is the perfect example of it… This is not our first time with Express Rooter and for sure, not the last time, since we have other reno project coming next year! This project was major and Express Rooter step up to the plate like no other company… Rob came first to assess the work, then Adam show up and work non-stop for 5 days. His professionalism, detailed oriented and meticulous work is just so impressive… They did replace almost the entire plumbing from the basement to the kitchen and going to the second floor… They also moved plumbing to make more room in the kitchen, correct may things that was done originally in the house – and then Rob came to add the finishing touch with the powder room, the dishwasher the sink, etc… Overall, our project was a bit more expensive that we estimated, but we have absolutely no complains about what we paid – we are just impressed, in admiration and will always call those guys for any plumbing issue. A major reno project like is extremely stressful, but you deal with company like Express Rooter with a high sense of ethical, it get a lot easier... Do yourself a favor, buy piece of mind for your next project... The entire staffs are just great and we definitely recommend them 100%… Thanks again for your hard work, your precious advices and we look forward to see you for our basement project in 2012 !
