Final Post: Our window capping has finally be replaced and is the result we had hoped for the first time. Clearly this company has the ability to get things right and get them right the first time given the amount of 10 ratings, our experience however was not that, but will give credit for their ability and desire to please us, correct the mistake and get us to a place where we are happy with the job. Second Post: I am amending my original review below after the great service we have received to address our concerns. A plan has been made to repair the work done on our house in the Spring and if all ends up satisfactory, I would be willing to recommend this company and rewrite my review based on the customer experience we are currently receiving. Original Post: We recently had all the windows in our home replaced and a new custom door installed by Clera. Initially the sales agent was great and we felt confident everything would go smoothly. Unfortunately the installers were awful. The job was rushed and finished late at night (after 10 pm) and the outdoor finishing and caulking is embarrassing . To their credit they tried to fix it but it is just as bad as the original. The caulking is thick, not smooth and the edges bleed into the brick. There is not another house on the street with caulking that looks like this. It is embarrassing to tell people we got our windows done as it looks like we finished them ourselves. The new door is nice but has the same horrible caulking finish and in the process of installing, the expensive lock we wanted to reuse, was broken and resulted in $300+ to replace and have professionally installed. The workers were disrespectful to our yard, deck and door, throwing items from second stories onto wood, lawn and plants and careless while removing and installing not to mention the eye sore of the outside finishing. I was so excited to think about coming home to gorgeous new windows and door and now I feel awful every time I come home and look at the mess they have made. I would not recommend this company.

I want to Thank Chris for the AMAZING job he did in our home. Was done within a reasonable amount of time considering the cold weather we had. Left the house Mess Free which is always a bonus of having renovations done. Thank you!! Def would recomend this company 100%

We moved to Amherstburg two years ago, the home we purchased had some of the windows and one door replaced, by Clera windows and doors. We decided to replace the two large front windows and the kitchen window, so we gave Gary Gainham from Clera a call. He gave us an estimate and told us exactly what they would do. When the windows were ready, they called to set up a time for installation. The workers arrived right on time and did a great job installing the windows. They did everything that Gary said that they would do and were very professional. When they left everything was cleaned up.

My wife and I purchased a home built in the 1890's. as a result, the windows required Storms installed in the Fall and screens in the Summer. We have met with many of the window companies and have quotes from 2 other London Based Companies with the same Warranty One was for $92,000.00 and the other was $53,000.00 to the current one we accepted with Clera (FM Industries). Les came by and met with my lovely wife and myself and we discussed options. He was not pushy and simply said he would do his best. Les gave us a quote that seemed reasonable for retrofit windows. They are all Double Hung/tilt with the exception of an Awning Window over our sink. I went downstairs the next day and noticed a broken window in the basement. I called Les and asked if we could revisit the quote and include the 2 lower windows that would be great. He sent one of the lead installers over for final measurements and then Les called me a couple of days later and said he had the revised quote. This is when something I never imagine happened. He not only included the 2 basement windows, he also lowered our price by $1,800.00. He simply said that the final measurements and the additional windows allow him to give me this price. This was strange but no doubt welcomed by both my wife and myself. After all the windows were installed I learned a couple of things. a) the window jams aren't perfectly square so to make the windows perfectly square the frame of the window had to be adjusted. The house is noticeably warmer and quieter. We both would strongly recommend the Clera team for your next window project. The installers are very friendly, Clean, and the clean up afterward. you wouldn't even know they were here. (except the windows look much nicer).

In September of 2016 we obtained three quotes from the "big box" guys on replacing our front door. The quotes were so high we decided to shelve the project until some time in the future. A week or two later an ad appeared in a local newspaper for Clera offering a 40% discount. We called our local Clera rep (Ken Chaston) and received a quote that was literally thousands of dollars less expensive. Ken was a pleasure to deal with thoroughly explaining the features, the warranty and why Clera is a superior product. Our door was delivered on time, the installation went very smoothly. The two installers were excellent workers and did a great job. We are more than pleased and the door looks absolutely beautiful. We plan to replace some windows soon and there is no doubt that Clera will be at the top of our shopping list.

Clera windows installed replacement windows in our solarium on December 7, 2016. The two men who did the installation were courteous, clean and efficient. The product itself was excellent and has made a huge difference to the room in looks and efficiency. We were more than pleased with the result.

Clera sales rep Terry was prompt throughout process. Installers efficient with install and product delivery and always Friendly.

Our sales person was very nice and there was no apparent problem as we got started, but the windows were installed by very unprofessional installers, the windows are gapy and for the last 10 days we have not been able to reach a person to respond to a break down in the closing and locking of the windows on our main floor. We are very disappointed and would not recommend this company.

Just had a bow window replaced by Clera. My wife and I interviewed at least 5 companies and decided on Clera. Dennis Kwasnicki who sold us the window was very trustworthy and knowledgeable about his windows as well as competing companies. He explained what to look for and what to avoid when buying a window. We felt at ease with him. After 4 more sales calls we felt Dennis was the company we where going with. There is no feeling of pressure or thinking your being ripped off. My wife and I think some of the other companies need to retrain their sales guys. On the install day everything went smooth. Four guys showed up. Head guy was Ranjan? He had everething done in under 4 hours with no mess left behind. That night we couldn't believe the calarity and warmth from the new window. Our old window was cold and drafty and always had condensation between the panes. Our biggest suprise, however, was how quiet the window was. We cant hear outside noise any more. I thought I had gone deaf that night. Will buy from Clera again for sure

The sales person Dennis was a big help and understanding, also the installation crew under "RanJan" did a great job installing the door under very difficult circumstances, they were very professional and completed the job on time.
