    Window Installation

    We virtually had all of the windows replaced in our home this past November. The windows are beautiful, however we have had major issues with the sales rep (who is no longer employed by the company) the installation process (before and after) and customer service and management who have ignored my many phone calls and emails. It seems that no one wants to take responsibility and I have been passed on from Customer Service to the VP and then on to the Owner of the company. All of them who make promises and then fail to deliver! I believe that they are hoping that I will forget the issues and let them go, however that is certainly not going to happen. The windows were installed in November 2014. The Installation Supervisor was wonderful, his crew was not! The house was completely upside down, the mess was incredible. Dust and debris from floor to ceiling. (This all before a Christmas Party which made it all the more stressful) They tossed broken glass, wood and nails onto the lawn and driveway. (My husband subsequently received a flat tire on his truck). The time frame that they worked was sporadic as it was very cold and they would not work. Several workers quit and never returned and the project dragged on over several weeks. The wall had to be repaired by another contractor that we hired, as the worker who was the "expert" decided to quit mid job and they did a band-aid job on it. To make matters worse, I had money taken from my bedroom where the workers were left unattended. (I could not be with them to supervise all of the time and I trusted them in our home). (The money was replaced by the supervisor no questions asked.) We ended up paying a cleaning company almost $500 for two full days of cleaning. We have had extensive renovations done to our home and had never experienced anything like this before. The salesperson promised to reimburse us the cleaning fees and it is now over 6 months and we have not seen anything. There have been nothing but excuses and now that the salesperson is no longer with the company, I believe that they are questioning my integrity! The windows have still not been cleaned properly (it was too cold in the winter and we were promised Spring). The black tabs are coming off of the screens and need replacing. To say that I am disappointed is an understatement! Not only did we have virtually the whole home replaced, but I had previously used this company in my last home. So, $30,000.00 later and you think that we would be considered good customers. I am guessing not. To make matters worse, we financed the job on our current home. We were not made aware, nor did we know, that a lien would be placed on our home. Had we known that, we would have never agreed to it. We were also supposed to have a follow up with our sales person, who never once came to inspect the job. Needless to say, we are very unhappy customers.

As far as all other issues, we wanted to be clear that all of our installers are fully insured and bonded. We do thousands of installations every year and this is first time someone claims that one of the crew member took money from your house. We strongly disagree but we still reimburse you without any question. Windows and doors installation is a renovation project where you are expected to get some dust and dirt around the house during installation and our installation crew clean everything after the installation. The fact is that you called the cleaning person during installation 2 times and when we asked for the receipt you were unable to present any bill from the cleaning company. The delay in the entire process was the cold winter as you didn't want anyone to come and fix your screen tabs in the winter months. We understand that there was an issue with the sales person (no longer with our company) but you insisted to deal with the particular sales person even though it was not his area of service. Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience and we are waiting for you to connect with our technician to get your screen tabs fixed. Thanks - Clera Admin

    5 Windows, sliding door, and front door.

    I love this company and would recommend them to anyone, Chis Larock was wonderful and always wanted to know if I was happy with the windows. He really does care about the buyer and what they want. We had called many window company's but all of the were about the almighty dollar, Clera Windows will work with you to make you feel comfortable. They are for sure the company to go with.

    Windows

    It was a pleasure to deal with Dennis, who was engaged and helpful to ensure things went smoothly. Ranjan and his installation staff was punctual, efficient and careful of our premises. We are very happy with the quality and workmanship of the product and installation.

    window replacement

    Recommended to us by a colleague at my husbands work. Salesman Garreth was punctual and explained everything in detail and answered more questions on the phone later. Anvi and his install crew polite and worked very cleanly. Great to have new windows

    Windows, Exterior Door & Stormdoor

    The salesperson we dealt with Chris Larock for the Hamilton area was extremely helpful and looked at ways to help save us money as we needed to replace all of the original windows in our 45 yr+ home plus our back door and storm door. The installers very amazing and friendly. We would definately recommend this company. We love our new windows!

    2 new doors and storm doors

    Good quality made materials. Product exactly as they appeared in the brochure. Installers very friendly.Measurements done twice to avoid any errors however one storm door didnt fit. New storm door ordered and installed within a few days. Happy with results and would most definately recommend this company. Good job!

    Kitchen Windows

    2 of our kitchen windows had deveoloped a break in the seal, causing a visible film of moisture, between the glass panes. The original supplier and rep always had an excuse for their replacement. When a Clera Windows flyer was delivered, I thought I'd give them a call. I explained my situation, and they sent a rep to the house. We discussed a price and a time frame. The rep called 2 days later to tell use that an installer would be by to take the final mesurements, and set the install date. 1 day before the install date, both the rep and installer called to confirm. The next day, the installer arrived and completed the installation. (actually, the rep also dropped by the same day). Now that's SERVICE and Customer Communications !!!! BTW: Ron (the rep) followed up 2 months later to ensure that we were satisfied with the new windows. We certainly were...... and would strongly recommend Clera Window, just on the fact that they are 'Customer Friendly'.... Thks Ron ! R & J Richmpond Hill

    Window replacement & service

    All above grade windows were replaced by Clera in June 2009 by previous owner. We took ownership in June 2010 and immediately noticed a leaking water issue. We paid for the warranty transfer in January 2011 and this window was serviced in July 2011. We recently confirmed a similar leak in our other large window that was serviced by Clera in the Spring of 2015. We thank Vito Mastrorillo for his attention in resolving our issues.

    Dear Michael Dufton, Since you are not the original purchaser of the windows, we understand your position regarding the whole issue. The fact is that our local branch visited you in 2013 regarding the leak and you agreed to look after the caulking by yourself. We sent our service technician last week and he fixed all the caulking and check every window in the house to make sure everything is caulked properly. If you were not able to fix your caulking in last two to three years, obviously, there will be some issues and we can't be held responsible for that. You mentioned above that you noted leaks in 2010 after paying for warranty transfer. The fact is you paid for warranty transfer in Feb 2011 which raises the question that you might have decided to go for warranty transfer after noticing the issue. Also, we don't know how long the leaks were there which were not reported by the original purchaser of the windows. Please check your caulking every year from outside and if you notice caulking pulling away due to the weathering, please hire someone to re caulk as caulking is not covered under warranty. Wish you best of luck - Clera Admin Updated on May 29th - Thanks for confirming above that you purchased warranty in 2011 after finding the leaks in your house in 2010. You purchased you house in April 2010 and bought warranty in Feb 2011 which explains everything. Our professional opinion after inspection is that water is not coming through the windows.     13 NEW WINDOWS

    I had Clera window install 13 windows in my entire house. They sent two technicians to install them and they never stopped working until all windows were put in. Great service and great looking windows. I was impressed with the quality of work and on how fast they got the job done. Thanks to Gary Gainham and his team.
