not much help with weed control AND destroyed a portion of lawn through carelessness
I was tired of weeding my lawn (thoroughly, by hand) at least two, three times a year. Decided to sign up for full service, just to see what results would be. After two years the lawn seemed marginally better, except around edges of property and flower gardens. Many types of weeds are unaffected by the Fiesta treatment. So, during the summertime, I still had to do a lot of weeding by hand. Then, late this summer, their lawn fertilizer "technician" spilled a large anount of fertilizer on a portion of our front lawn. Later, another of their people drove up and scraped some of the lawn away and spread a bit of soil and grass seed, leaving a note at the door, saying we should water the affected area daily. I called their office and questioned whether this would be effective. I was assured it would work. Well, many weeks later, it's still dead. I called again and requested that, since they caused the problem, they should come and repair it properly. I was instead offered a free bag of grass seed. Do you want to hire a lawn care service (???) that destroys part of your lawn and does not take full responsibilty for fixing the damage? I have fired them.
