Horrible experience.
My husband and I signed up for home turf last year because we knew that we would not have enough time to take proper care of our yard that summer.
This summer however, we had more time, and did not need the service. When Hometurf called to schedule our first appointment of the year, my husband told them we are not interested in continuing. They proceeded to explain that the reason they are coming to service our yard is because they didn't complete all the services they had intended to the previous summer. Based on this information we allowed them to service the lawn.
One month later we receive an invoice for over $300. When we called the service department to advise them of this mistake, they told us that is the invoice for the service a couple weeks prior. They said they would never carry services over from season to season & the spring is the beginning of a new season. I explained how my husband spoke to someone from their team and advised otherwise. The manager told me that they only have senior level staff making those phone calls, and they would have never said that to him.
I am super unhappy with the way this whole situation was handled. I will never be using Hometurf again, and will advise anyone I know to steer clear of this company. Horrible customer service, I feel like we have been taken advantage of.
