    Lawn Care Service

    After several years with another lawncare provider, I changed this year and have experienced an amazing level of service - customized and personalized to my property, reliable, immediate response when contacted and excellent communication re visits. As a result, my lawn looks GREAT!

    Lawn care

    I am very pleased with the service I received from Hometurf Lawn Care. I have received excellent customer service, and the staff is friendly and professional. I will continue to utilize their services.

    Weed Control

    I paid $90 to get weed control for my lawn (Brooke St., Thornhill) Unfortunately, as I explained to their Rep on the phone, the weed control particularly in the back lawn has not been addressed. This is after there was a re-spray done by youtheir company. Apparently, there is not they can do unless I buy their program - I'm quite disappointed specially since I called this company based on Homestar reviews. $90 is not small amount and they need to make sure Customers get their money's worth without necessarily having to buy into their continuous annual lawn care programs.

Unfortunately, keeping your weeds under control consistently is a process as new weeds will always grow in especially if a lawn is not thick and lush from proper fertilization and seeding. This is why we always recommend our programs, so that the homeowner is the most satisfied! Our programs also include free re-sprays if you are ever having issues with the weeds between applications!     Laswn CAre

    I have been a Home Turf customer for at least 5 years and have now moved to a Condo thus no longer needing their service. However I recommend them without hesitation. Their products were excellent and their service always on time and more than satisfactory. The condition of our lawn in this hot dry summer undoubtedly was a plus factor in helping us sell our house in less than a week.

    lawn care

    We had not used a lawn care service for years and our lawn was suffering. Hometurf came and sprayed our lawn. Our lawn is now looking great. We are very satisfied with the service they provided.

    Lawncare

    I switched to Hometurf this year. Their services and rates are good, and customer service is excellent. My lawn was nice and green until the hot weather started. Being in and out of the house so often, the grass was cut too short and lacked water so I practically killed the grass due to my own negligence. There was a bald patch in the backyard about 3' by 5' and I sought advice from Hometurf. Customer Service did not ask any questions as to what I did wrong (I've have had experience with some who do and blah, blah,blah), and said a supervisor will come by within the week. Then Nick came two days later and not only did he left good advice but also added new soil and reseeded the patch. It was a pleasant surprise and I really appreciated it. Hometurf gives more than a customer expects! Thank you so much.

    Lawn care

    Overall, there is an improvement in the grass. However, there are still weeds in the lawn. We are very pleased with the customer service, and the people who actually spray have been professional. We will continue to use Hometurf next year.

    Complete Lawn Care Package

    I am sad to say that I have only had a negative experience with Home Turf thus far. I paid for a complete package in the spring which included aeration and overseeding. The dirt in our yard is very compacted and we have patchy areas where there is no grass throughout our yard. During the spring we had two visits from Home Turf once in April and one in June, both times they put down fertilizer and the second time they sprayed for weeds. Neither time did they aerate or seed. When I called customer service at the end of spring I was told to be patient and that my lawn would be cared for based on their predetermined schedule. It is now the end of July. I just called Home Turf and asked if it was their schedule to aerate and seen in the fall. My lawn still has patches of compacted dirt and no amount of fertilizer will fix that issue. I am now being told that it should have been done then when I first called. I am disappointed that when I contacted them with my original concerns about work not being done I was quickly dismissed. Now I'm being told that aeration and seeding needs to be done in the spring when there is more moisture. OK sure, but where does that leave me now. Apparently they will seed and aerate in the fall, unless they forget again. My expectations are pretty low at this point and I will only believe it when I see it. There are many lawn care companies in Calgary, and my neighbours have been using the competition. Their lawn is cared for regularly and the results are obvious. My lawn looks the same as it did before I paid hundreds of dollars to have it cared for. Every time I look outside I am reminded about what poor quality lawn care Home Turf offers. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They will happily take your money until you call or write to cancel, but they "forget" to do the work.

    Lawn Care

    Terrible service. My lawn is worse than last year, with weeds popping up every week and no one coming here for over 6 weeks now in the middle of summer! I have had to call them to inquire about each service call because they have not come according to 4-6 week promise, despite numerous promises. They did an incomplete job due to the ineptitude of the sprayer who did not know how to open a gate; the subsequent completion came a week later after 3 phone calls. The customer service rep is appallingly rude and disrespectful and should be reconsider her job options, so as not to come in contact with people. I am aghast at the lack of professionalism, work ethic, and service provided from this company. Fall cannot come soon enough so I can cancel my subscription. This was a lot of money for us, and we had a fairly decent lawn prior to committing to this company. Very disappointing. Update Approximately 9 weeks later: They came soon after this original review was posted. The sprayer absolutely doused my lawn with spray, and the result (which last 4 weeks) was that my lawn was completely covered in black patches where the spray was liberally applied (to clover patches for example, which I was told they do not treat). 7 weeks have passed since that application so I had to call yesterday again. I'm still waiting. Today I received an email from this website asking for authentication because this company has actually disputed that I am their customer, despite having posted a reply. Of course I was able to verify my account. This is the type of company we have to deal with? No thank you. Live and learn.
