I have observed Hometurf “technicians” visit and literally do nothing to improve our lawn.
On the third visit, they actually damaged our lawn by upturning newly seeded areas.
On two occasions, I observed a technician come and stay a total of five minutes, doing nothing.
Another time, the technician sat in his vehicle in front of the house, idling the engine, for close to a half hour.
At the end of the season, the front lawn is one quarter dead from pine needle acidity, as well as a large portion taken over by quack grass.
I can safely say, that Hometurf's “treatments” have done nothing to improve our lawn.
To add salt to the wound, we have received letters from the company threatening to forward our account to a collections agency. This was after we had handed payment to them and talked to them over the telephone about it.
I would definitely NOT recommend this company!

Hi Fay, I am sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with our service. Unfortunately there is nothing that we can do to stop the acidity from your pine tree nor do we claim that we can fix this problem. Quack grass is a type of field grass that cannot be controlled because any product you spray on it will kill the surrounding grass as well. We also do not claim to treat for quack grass.
