    Home Turf lawn care - excellent service

    I have been with this company for the last several years. They provide an excellent lawn care and a very good customer service. I would recommended them. I called them for additional service for weeds and they did it without any extra charge. The boys and girls are very courteous and gave me extra seeds to sprinkle later to cover the patches.

    Happy with the service and good resolution measures to a concern I had

    We hired this company in 2019 and 2020 and used their protection plan on our Etobicoke house, the work was great as it helped me recover the law before selling the house. There as a small confusion issue which we could not resolve directly with customer service but the president called to help work this issue. Overall very happy in general with the outcome, it’s fair.

    I’ll be cancelling

    I’ve used Hometurf for a few years now, and my lawn has never looked worse than this year, sadly. Between the crabgrass, clover, and brown patches, there isn’t much grass out front…despite the fact that I’ve spent hours yanking out weeds and over seeding myself. I expressed my concern about the weeds, and was told that they only spray for broadleaf weeds. For the cost of the yearly treatments, I can probably do a better job myself. Pros: they always call before coming.

    Lawn care service

    For the past 6/7 years, Hometurf has been providing us lawn care services annually. We are genuinely happy with their professionalism. Usually, they inform us ahead of time when they would be coming in case the cars on the driveway need to be moved for the applications.

    Awful company to deal with

    After 5 times of complaints they finally showed up and still didn’t do a good job. Lots of weeds extra billing for patio control and still not done. This company is awful!!! Spilt fertilizer and burnt lawn . Never dealing with this place again.

    Lawn care

    Has been with home turf for last 5 years and have been satisfied with their services and prices. The only thing I would recommend them to use their core aeration like before. I am not satisfied with liquid aeration and also would like them to notify me in advnce when they are coming for their services.

    Lawn Maintenance

    We have used this company's services for about 15-20 years now and in all that time, we have been very satisfied. Admittedly there were a few times we had to call them back (eg rain after applying weed control) and they always resolve the problem by sending out a tech to fix the problem. We renew every year and would heartily recommend this company's services to others.

    Seeding, pesticides

    would give this company a 0 star however I'm not able to. My lawn, back and front, has never looked worse. I have many photos to support this claim. My neighbour, who has done not to his lawn, looks so much better. This company should be embarrassed to leave their signage on the lawn however I leave it there so that my neighbours don't make the same mistake by hiring this company. They have seeded the lawn, looks terrible. No change. Many dead areas. The back lawn was treated with their weed application and has completely burnt the lawn. It looked much better before. Again I have photos to show how terrible it looks. When I called customer service to cancel the subscription as I don't want to see the grass deteriorate further, they had no resolution or suggestion as to how to correct the problem. Customer service is absolutely rude! Customer service said there is no refund, however my lawn looks worse than before and we are only half way into the season. Also, trying to connect with this company is almost impossible... No one is willing

    autorenew is not fair

    I was selling my house and wanted lawn care to improve curb appeal. Nowhere in any documentation that they send does it tell you that they auto renew. I moved and then got a bill for work I never authorized. Apparently now I need a cancellation request for them to stop work there. Oh yeah and I still have the bill for it.
