Have used this company in previous years and was satisfied. Definitely NOT satisfied this year. It's May 20, 2021 and we have not had a lawn treatment yet. When they come, they always put a sign on the lawn, a sheet in our mailbox stating what has been applied and whether we need to water as well as a lawn assessment. We also see granules when they apply product. None of these were done. My husband is an immune c0mpromised senior so has not left the house, doesn't even shop. Our lawn was not treated, although we paid for this service. Home Turf could care less.
This spring - nothing. Spent half an hour on hold trying to get through to company - company records show they did our home - they absolutely did not. Customer service manager extremely rude - no apology, curt, dismissive - she did not care one bit. Offered a $10 credit. Considering we paid $300 for 6 visits, that did not sit well with us. We asked to cancel and have $300 minus the $10 value of missed visit returned - no refunds apparently. Will definitely not be renewing at the end of this year and highly recommend that homeowners save yourselves the hassles and look elsewhere. There are many lawn care companies out there that don't treat their customers this way. I asked for contact for company owner - Customer Service Manager refused to provide it.
Left a message for owner on linked in - he called me back. Larger credit applied and said he arranged for rush servicing of our property. Just watched their technician do the servicing - I think I know why people complain about weeds after Hometurf treats lawn - technician supposed to do spot treatment and general treatment - did a 1 minute run through turning sprayer on and off to apply weed stuff - no general treatment at all, and fertilizer was a super fast run around a few sections of property. Owner needs to know what his technicians are doing (or NOT doing). I can do better myself. I video taped technician doing weed spray.
