We have been very fortunate to have benefited from the services of Kingsway Carpets & Blinds on several occasions. We first met George and Maria in July of 2007 when we were looking for some window blinds for a new room that had been added to our house. We saw the store on East Mall & North Queen and went in. George was very helpful presenting us with both suggestions and recommendations for various styles, material and colours. He then came out to the house to make the measurements. An installation date was set, and honoured exactly on time. The blinds just made the room look perfect. Our next encounter was in about 2012 when we were looking for a replacement for our kitchen linoleum flooring. We went and saw George for some suggestions. He loaned us several samples to bring and try out. Many were nice, but not just right, since there was at western facing window and also a small door window on the landing. George said he would keep looking. We also checked out other companies that other friends has suggested. While being out west, we found out about a tile that we thought might work well, so came back to see if George could get it. George found out where it was manufactured and let us know yes he could order the same product. Again, he came to do exact measuring and then arranged for the installation. When the installers came, they were very efficient, caring and thorough in their work. One of the closet doors had to be slightly shaved for the tile to fit. They cleaned up every part of the job. One of the difficult parts was having a partial circular staircase from the kitchen to the lower landing and back door. George and the installers thought, discussed and planned how best to deal with the odd shape, and also install secure edging. A perfect job and fit. Our most recent involvement was needing some repair to a basement rug (installed by another company in 2003) which had been buckling for a few years. Again, George and Maria from Kingsway Carpets and Blinds, came to our rescue. Maria arranged for installers to come, move the furniture (including an oak desk), stretch and trim the carpet, return the furniture - all at a very reasonable rate. So for any blinds, tiles or carpet work, we HIGHLY recommend George, Maria and their family at Kingsway Carpet & Blinds. at 100 The East Mall (at the corner of North Queen - around the corner from Walmart, down the street from Lowes. )

They have a very nice showroom in Etobicoke and were a pleasure to deal with. They arrived at our house when they said they'd be here, did a very nice installation job, and left everything tidy.

We have used Kingway Carpet and Blinds before for our kitchen blinds and we went back to them again as we were so pleased. They have a great staff at the store and also will come to your house to give you an estimate. We did not have to wait very long before everything was ready and the installers did a meticulous job. Everything looks wonderful and we will definitely come back again to Kingway Carpet and Blinds.

The quality of the shutters is highly attractive and durable, and whether from inside or outside, they look fantastic and appealing. The service provided by this company was professional and very competent. We expect the shutters to last for many years to come. Their advice was very helpful in the choice of correct materials for this installation.

The moment we walked into Kingsway Carpets & Blinds and were greeted by Maria, we immediately felt comfortable and that this was the perfect company for our carpet purchase. Our desire was to replace our existing carpet throughout most of our home with a natural fibre carpet that would significantly reduce the residual chemical toxins found in many carpets. When George came to our home to take measurements to give an estimate, his professionalism, charm and knowledge assured us that we made a smart decision to use their services. We were investing a significant amount for this wool carpeting and it ultimately comes down to the quality of the installation. It was superb. Over a couple of days, two very pleasant and experienced installers transformed our home with deft precision. We were very pleased with the result. As well, during the installation, George attended regularly and also assisted with a number of things. To have an owner that embraces a hands-on approach and cares deeply about his customers is a rarity.

It was in the spring of 2014 I have gotten the blinds installed in my new condo. Maria worked with me patiently and found very nice quality blinds for my condo. I am very cautious and only wants something environmentally friendly since I have a child. The blinds were installed nicely. I have not had any problems with them after so many months. I would definitely recommend this company to my friends and family

I have dealt with this company twice. They give such good service and value for money, I would never go anywhere else for the products Kingsway offers. They are family Deliver when they say they will *******and treat clients as we hope all companies would.

In the spring of 2014 I ordered 4 sets of vertical blinds from Kingsway. The samples shown to me in the store enabled me to quickly find the style I wanted (pure white and without any special texture). The sample of the box that would cover the tops of the blinds did not please me, because its plastic edging was not truly clear, being a pale greyish beige instead. But the staff member knew of an option involving an opaque white cover edging that could be installed, and said she would inquire. She did, very promptly, and I chose to have this extra feature (it was quite reasonably priced). She also asked me about having holes for linking-chain at the bottoms of the vanes and I chose this too. The store staff and the installer (who made two trips to my house, one to take measurements and one to do the installing) were knowledgeable and thorough. I highly recommend this company.

Service was performed as desribed and offered,without any glitches. Blinds were chosen by us based on recommendations by Kingsway and are really good. Would recommend Kingsway for both their products and installation services
