    Lawn Care & Lawn Sprinkler System

    Excellent Service for 8 years. Even though Kyle and his team of professionals have grown into a well established company over the years, that family owned business great personalized dependable service is still a core value and evident with the care and attention in all they do - including lawn sprinkler systems (special thanks to George). Thanks to LawnSavers our lawn has been the envy of the neighbourhood for years - and even when the bugs hit, Kyle and team told us to be patient, the treatment would work - and as usual they were right and lawn back to normal in short time! I recommend LawnSavers for expert and dependable lawn care (yes care, not just service), at very reasonable cost,

    Lawn Care

    Excellent service and products. Their fertilizers and weed prevention products are very good and the package I have covers spring to fall. They take care of everything so all I do is water and cut. Makes it easy and my lawn has a golf course green look. Highly recommend.

    Regular Lawn Services - Weed control, fertilization, etc...

    Lawn Savers has given us another great year of lawn care service in 2013! Our lawn (which was builder’s grade three years ago, and pretty sketchy looking when we moved in) is now the nicest on the street! Neighbours who have spent lots of money on landscaping and resodding, often comment on how beautiful our grass looks, so we always tell them it is due to Lawn Savers. They always show up on schedule, give us tips for taking care of our lawn, point out issues before they become problems, and offer solutions when needed. We appreciate the consistently great service!

    Lawn Service

    Perfect service and rate! The sales person is very friendly to answer all questions. This company won my 100% of satisfaction. I will strongly recommend to friends in the future, for sure. The reason I cancel the service today is because family relocation.

    Lawn Care Program 2013

    2013 was the first year working with Lawn Savers. I say "working with" as they subscribe to the philosophy that the homeowner participates in developing and managing a healthy lawn. It was a great relationship. They delivered according to the contract and offered free advice and direction -- with lawn concerns they notice at time of service and with recommendations on how I can sustain the lawn program & treatments. Great advice that I took seriously. And the efforts by both Lawn Savers and myself paid off handsomely. My lawn is thicker, healthier and easier to maintain.     Lawn Service

    I have contracted LawnSavers for several years now to maintain my lawn. From Spring Weed Management to their winterizing application and all the applications in between, they do an excellent job. They also offer recommendations for myself to assist in a well maintained lawn.

    Lawn Maintenance

    Firstly, I want to start off by saying I am totally impressed and satisfied with LawnSavers and the lawn care program that I purchased. Initially, I chose to go with LawnSavers based on the mostly positive reviews on Homestars, the informative and easy to navigate website and the knowledgable customer service staff that answered all the questions I had prior to proceeding with the program. So, some background information now. My front lawn was re-sodded in May as I felt it was too far gone to ever stand a realistic chance of being restored. The front boulevard was patchy with some weeds and bare spots but I was fairly confident I could restore this area myself with the assistance of LawnSavers. So before I started the LawnSavers program I top dressed the boulevard grass area and overseeded it a few times with a popular grass seed. As well, I followed good lawn care techniques like mowing, watering regularly and not cutting the grass too short during the summer months. As a result of this effort my boulevard looked respectable by the end of July but didn't look as nice as the newly sodded area which is to be expected. My backyard lawn was in decent shape for the most part with one really bad spot about 10x10 with virtually no grass and only weeds and an area beside that somewhat over grown with Creeping Charlie. So I re-sodded the bad spot hoping to create a buffer area between the left part of the lawn which was in good shape and that section of Creeping Charlie on the right. So by the end of July I felt both my front yard and back yard was ready for the LawnSavers program. Since I was starting late in the year (end of July) I received a compacted and intense program that included multiple fertilizers, weed control applications, aeration and an over seeding. So here we are now at the end of October and the results I see are nothing short of amazing. I now have the best front lawn and boulevard, by far, in the area, lush, thick and very green. My front boulevard is now almost as nice as the newly sodded area. The backyard looks much better, although there is still some Creeping Charlie in that one area, the aerating and overseeding has worked wonders and there is now lots of new growth starting to crown out the Creeping Charlie. I can't say enough about the customized seed blend that LawnSavers uses. This seed is nothing less than phenomenal. I can't believe all the new growth I got on the boulevard and backyard after the aeration and overseeding Also, it was a pleasure dealing with the Customer Service as they were always very friendly and helpful. Another thing I like is the detailed report left once the service is performed and they also mention if the lawn being cut too short or is too long so I adjusted my lawn cutting. Finally, I can't stress how important it is too put in an effort and work in conjunction with LawnSavers, like I did, to achieve the lawn that is the envy of the neighborhood.

    Lawn Maintenance

    We switched from another well known lawn care company to LawnSavers early this year and what a difference it makes! Our lawn is now healthy looking, lush and weed free. We should also mention about their grass seeds. They germinate fast even at those areas we had attempted to reseed several times without success. It was a joy to see the bare spots were covering with green grass again. We are really happy with our decision to choose this company and we look forward to more great service from them next year.

    Lawn

    This is the first time I am writing a bad review and so I would like to start off by saying something positive. The products that LawnSavers offer are good and you do need to work together in order for the lawn to be healthy. My lawn had awful weeds and the vegetation spray plus the week control worked wonderfully along with our care. What I am very dissatisfied with is the customer service in which I received this season. The technicians made a few errors with my lawn, one being that they went to the wrong house. Each time I called they were apologetic but kept having an excuse to why such things happen. They would give me one excuse and then the next week the excuse would change to suit their needs. I was told one thing and then another which can be frustrating. I would like to note that if I was not home on maternity leave, I would have never caught the mistakes as I needed to see it with my own eyes to catch it. The last time I called I was very upset as it had been one of several phones calls made this summer and was told that I was yelling at them. I was merely on speaker phone as I needed to tend to my daughter whom I needed to put to sleep and couldn't and it is louder on speaker! The lady went on to refer to her notes and I noticed that the "notes" put on the account were not correct. What they say on the phone and what they write on their notes are two different things which has been happening all season! How can I trust that things will be done properly if the notes are not even inputted properly. My mother has had the same dissatisfaction for the same reason and even had the lady laugh at her at one point. It is hard to deal with a company that have technicians not doing their job properly and customer service reps improperly writing notes down on the system and going back and forth with excuses. To top it all off, I would have never know their mistakes if I had not been home and at work, which is disconcerning. I am well aware that I will get a response from the owner looking at my account and referring to the notes made but with my case some of those notes are incorrect and therefore mean nothing to me. If you do decide to go with this company, be sure you are on top of them and home to see the services done as they are more than likely to make a mistake. Also, make sure to write everything down from the conversation as their notes will not reflect the conversation had. If you are prepared to spend a lot of time being on top of them then great! I myself do not feel I should have to do that and will not use them again or recommend them to friends or family.

    Lawn maintenance / weed control

    I signed up for a package with Lawnsavers in the summer of 2012 and they made six visits that summer. I was very dissatisfied with the results and had no interest in using this company again. This summer they returned to apply fertilizer without my knowledge and I received an invoice from them charging me $40.00. I never expected them to continue services after I had paid for, what I understood as, a ONE TIME package. I called and explained that I would not pay the fee for a service I never requested. They explained that they operate like a cable company; I have to cancel the service or it continues each season. I am still receiving bills demanding the original $40 plus interest. This company operates in an extremely dishonest manner and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Furthermore, we called ahead 24 hours in advance, as we do for all of our services, advising we will be out the next day. LawnSavers does not want to service anyone who doesn't want our service, we only ask that you let us know, with the courtesy we use to communicate with you. I;m sorry you feel the need to write a bad review and only let us know about your dis-satisfaction after the fact. LawnSavers offers a hassle free guarantee upfront where we state in writing: "LawnSavers guarantees your satisfaction in writing. We'll work in partnership with you to do whatever it takes to ensure a beautiful lawn. When you commit to one of our programs, with your proper watering and mowing, we commit to re-apply any included service at no additional charge in an effort to give you the green and healthy lawn we promised. If for some reason we are unable to do so, we will refund the cost of your last treatment. Our Protector Package includes as many service calls as it takes to give you a healthy lawn as we promised. You may be required to purchase additional services for unforeseen pests like Grubs that eat the roots of your lawn or Leatherjackets that will chew the crown of your turfgrass plant. Like a doctor can't predict ailments with any certainty, LawnSavers is unable to predict the severity of infestation in every neighbourhood, but will monitor and communicate concerns on an ongoing basis".
