Our technician was at your home for 4 hours, not including travel time, over 2 days to defrost your frozen pipes, which was the reason for your call. The defrosting took some time as it was your washroom pipes that had a portion improperly installed on the outside of the basement wall rather than on the inside. Due to the improper installation, our technician had requested that you meet him on site to view the issue and discuss the solution further, however you did not do so. The technician then suggested that he cap off the pipes for the moment and once the weather was better, to contact our office to return and install the plumbing properly up to code. The amount paid for that initial visit was for the defrosting and the capping of the pipes which was the work completed at the time. We do not fully charge for work that we have not yet done. At no point during the initial discussion was it indicated that the payment made would also include the replacement of the pipes at the future date. On the day our technician returned to install the plumbing, he even went as far as to give you a discount of $100 off the price you mentioned on the work that still needed to be done. No professionally licensed plumber would re-pipe a washroom for free. We offered upfront pricing both times and were honest with you at every step. We are sorry that you feel this way.
