    Lead pipe replacement

    I had a lead pipe water supply running into my old house. Needed to get the private side replaced before the city would replace the municipal portion. Isaac came and explained the job to me thoroughly and gave me a quote. Expensive job, but their quote was in line with everyone else I got estimates from. Booked the job for a few days later, the crew showed up bang on time that day and did a great job. They had to dig a huge pit in front of my house, but after they were finished you'd hardly know they'd even been there, great at clearing up after themselves. They also had to do some work in the basement and were really respectful of the house, carefully placing drop cloths, etc. and patching the concrete they needed to break through to access pipes. Would definitely recommend.

    Very Happy - Already shared with neighbours!

    I called when a toilet started leaking from the tank onto the floor, with what I suspected was a problem with the supply line. I was expecting a long wait, but to my surprise the very professional sounding woman who answered the phone at New Canadian D & P said she would have someone out to us within an hour - and she did! Peter was prompt and courteous, and gave me the best-case/worst-case options. Fortunately, replacing the supply line was a relatively inexpensive fix, and it did the trick! He was willing to also take a look at a leaky valve in my laundry room while here, and replaced that as well. All of this was done very quickly, with little disruption and no mess. When he was finished, Peter left me his card, and even responded himself, promptly, to a call later that day when I had a quick question. I was very satisfied with the experience, and have already told my neighbours (who had no plumbers to recommend when I first had the leaking problem) to call me when they need someone - I found a good one! Call New Canadian Drain and Plumbing, you won't be sorry.

    Shower fix

    Eric was friendly, fast, and honest with me about the options I had and the cost of these options. He explained everything clearly and ordered the parts I needed to be replaced right away.

    Pex Pie 90 Degree Leak

    Eric, came to my house and fixed the corner of the pex line where it was leaking. He was very kind, honest, and helpful. He recommended that I change the plastic L corners to a metal type to reduce risk of leaks. I was very satisfied with Eric's work and I recommend him to anyone looking for a job well done with affordable prices! Best plumber I've had, and I've had various come to my house for other jobs where they cut corners and leave you with leaky problems in the future. Thanks, Eric.

    Sump pump repair

    Sump pump was not working. Called New Canadian Drain -- pleasant on the phone & fast service. Technician (Peter) came exactly on time, diagnosed the problem and offered options for solutions, including recommendation on most cost effective repair. Work done quickly. Very satisfied with their service.

    Kitchen Sink Clog

    When our kitchen sink got clogged, we tried to clear it ourselves using different off-the-shelf products “guaranteed” to work, but to no avail. After several failed attempts, we turned to professional help and contacted New Canadian Drain and Plumbing. Although this was the first time that we’ve ever had to actually contact a professional plumbing company, New Canadian Drain and Plumbing made the process very straightforward. The receptionist was very understanding after we had described our situation and she was able to send out a plumber to our home that same afternoon. The plumber, Seyyed, arrived promptly as scheduled and even courteously took off his shoes before entering and getting to work. As he cleared the clog, he explained what he was doing and kindly gave us some practical tips on how to prevent future clogs. He was very thorough and also alerted us to a few problematic areas under our sink before proceeding to tighten the loose faucet from underneath and to re-solder a small pipe connecting the dishwasher to the main pipe. Not only were we happy to get our sink back so quickly, but it was in even better condition and exceeded our expectations. All in all, we had a very positive experience and found the services provided to be very courteous and professional. Thank you!

    Replacement of Shut Off Valves with Ball Valves

    This is my 4th experience with New Canadian Drain and Plumbing and again, I am completely satisfied with their service. I was having an internal water valve converted to a ball valve as well as the shut off water valve in my garage to a ball valve. The internal valve was located in a tight area due to my basement being finished. Dane worked patiently to change the valve to ensure no damage to the work area in my basement. The outside/garage valve was much quicker and easier. He ensure that there were no leaks and as well the cleanup was excellent. Dane was very polite, showed up on time and explained all his work as he was conducting it. I will use this company again for any plumbing work. Also, the lady I spoke with to schedule the appointment was also very personable and polite.

    Sewage problem in garage

    In May my driveway collapsed. By June I had sewage oozing out of my garage floor and all around the base of it and it would intermittently run down my driveway. Initially considered to be a blockage but proved otherwise. New Canadian came in July. Shendon responded immediately to start diagnosing the issue. 5 days of hand digging ensued led by Roman and others. The garage floor was dug in four areas as well as part of the driveway. It was determined that the sewage pipe had blown apart and that sewage was being pumped up into the garage from the city system (a unique system on my street). All pipes were repaired, reconnected and checked after the city repaired the valve. Clean up was excellent. Fantastic group of people to work with, kind and courteous. Thank you Igor, Eman, Shendon, Roman, Nick and everyone else who worked on this unusual job. I would recommend your services anytime.

    Very pleased!

    Very pleased with faucet replacement. They responded to me within an hour. Repairmen showed up to give a quote with an hour and was one time. They gave the lowest quote and had the job done in under an hour. Will use again and recommend them also. They came by and did a second job for me as well, replacing a valve in a basement. Very pleased once again and they are professional, fast and great to hire.

    major plumbing problem

    I called them with an emergency and they responded within an hour. It turned out to be a major job, and they came back the next day (Canada Day) to do the work. It was a tough, dirty job and they worked hard and got it done. This was my first experience with a major plumbing issue, but I will be calling them the next time I have any problem, big or small. Would highly recommend. Thanks to Peter, Iman, Roman, and Poya, who worked hard on a holiday to help me out.
