    Broken Basement Pipe

    I had a broken copper pipe in the basement since last winter & didn't get it fixed as I was afraid of being ripped off by plumbers. All summer the water to the backyard was shut off. I knew I had to get it fixed before this winter & recently found New Canadian Drain & Plumbing on the internet. The reviews sounded almost too good to be true. I called @ 10:30 a.m. & the receptionist said a team was working in Whitby & could get to me by 1 p.m. Najaf & Ferhad arrived early, quickly assessed the problem & fixed the broken pipe. They then tested it to ensure no leaks and shut off the water for the winter. I told them that the plug in my ensuite sink broke & needed fixing. The previous person who checked it out told me I needed an overflow kit to fit the problem. Najaf examined it, got a small part from the truck and fixed the sink in about 5 minutes. I KNOW that I've found my plumbers for any future plumbing work - drains, water problems, or changing fixtures. The level of competency & the professional service delivered at a reasonable cost in about 45 minutes, far exceeded my expectations. Thank you Najaf & Ferhad for a job well done!!!

    Plumbing

    I had a leak in a pipe over my garage. The receptionist was friendly and competent. I called for help at 8:30 in the morning, and was told they'd be there by 10:30. They actually got to my home almost an hour early. They were professional and courteous. They got the job done right, and it was a pleasure to deal with them. They even made sure to sweep up the garage and take all the wet debris away. Great service, and I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to anyone.

    clogged storm drain

    overall i was very pleased with this company. i had a clogged storm drain in my driveway> they came out once to access and deal with the problem. they were here at my house for maybe an hour. Their price was fair and they were very polite. Im happy i ended up using them

    Sanitary Sewer Repair

    Malik and the team did an amazing job, on-time, on budget when others either couldn't or wouldn't do the job. We had a very significant root issue and they diagnosed, and identified the problem quickly and accurately, and fixed it likewise. Great work.

    Sump pump & new back up system

    Isaac and his team Mark & Kevin were exemplary. They began work immediately and did not stop until completed. Their work is of the highest quality, came in on budget and was thoroughly checked. They were neat, courteous and a pleasure to work with. They provided helpful advice, did fantastic work and provided a positive experience. Great effort to do their best work - exceeded expectation at a fair price!

    Cast Iron Stack removal and full replacement. kitchen and bathroom full rough in plumbing.

    The whole crew were fast, very friendly and professional. My house is fairly small and presented a few challenges in terms of space for the drains and vents. These guys attacked it with a no problem attitude, saving me precious inches here and there with the most efficient layout. They double check their work with visits from other plumbers in the company so you know you're getting the most well thought out solution to each and every drain etc. My main contact was Malik. This guy was great. He always returned my calls asap, kept the job on track and answered all my questions. The prices were in line with other quotes that I got before going ahead with New Canadians.Totally satisfied customer.

    Emergency Pipe Repair

    We accidently punctured a ½ inch water pipe and needed a repair. It was Saturday afternoon and after looking online, we called several plumbing companies only to find that most were not available and constantly reached a prompt to leave voicemail. When we finally did reach another company that was open for business, we were given ridiculous pricing for what they called “emergency” and/or “weekend” work. Finally we were able to find and call New Canadian Drain and Plumbing Ltd. Anna the company CSR was empathetic and handled the call professionally and efficiently. She did not mention an emergency or weekend rate, instead she reassured us that a qualified plumber would be on the job in a couple of hours able to fix the problem and would give us a fixed price once he assessed the work to be done. Mark showed up on time, was enthusiastic and was able to evaluate the situation quickly and provided us with a fair price for the job. He competently made the repair in a timely manner. A proper service company is built by professionally serving one client at a time. New Canadian Drain and Plumbing Ltd. provided expert service for a fair price. On Saturday, they demonstrated that they have a qualified, well trained staff that efficiently solves problems and genuinely cares about their clients. I recommend them highly to anyone who needs a plumber and a good plumbing company.

    House drains

    Malik came to view our situation and give us an estimate. He was very prompt, had up to date equipment, and explained our problem and our options very clearly. The company met the most competitive price and started the work the next day. Ivan did most of the work. He showed up on time every day. At the beginning of each day he would tell us what he hoped to accomplish and the end of the day he would show us exactly what was done. The work site was cleaned up every day and they never left us with non working drains at the end of the day. A job very well done.

    Drain repair and improvement

    New Canadian Drain took care of our main drain problem very professionally, from start to finish. We appreciated that Bob described the situation to us and gave us options as to how to fix it. The work included digging up our front yard and was done with surgical precision, and such tidiness that you can barely tell the yard was ever disturbed. Bob was there when the City inspector came and showed us how to complete the paperwork for a possible rebate on the back-stop valve we had installed. It was a pleasure from beginning to end. Neat, professional, knowledgeable, helpful, effective. I would recommend this company to anyone.

    basement drain replacement

    Igor's New Canadian Drain & Plumbing (NCDP) team was excellent. They removed their footwear at the door whenever reasonable at the work-site which was our basement. Employees used plastic sheets to cover furniture and other items to stop dust from accumulating there. A long canvas drop sheet stretched from our front door all the way down the basement stairs. This canvas sheet protected our floors and stairs. NCDP definitely focused on keeping our home protected and clean as they worked in it. The on-site managers, Isaac and Bob were courteous, patient, and helpful. They explained what work was required and they explained why problems had developed. I was able to see damaged sections of underground pipe using the camera inspection equipment. The other members of the team who did the digging, pipe-laying and pipe-cutting, were efficient, polite, and friendly. The total cost of the project was $18000. Tasks completed were: excavation and replacement of outside clay pipe along with installation of backwater valve; also, excavation and replacement of inside clay pipe. Approximately 50 feet of clay pipe was excavated and replaced. Based on my experienced, I believe that other companies would have charged far more to replace so much pipe. Other major improvements to our plumbing were made during the project at no extra cost! For example, a section of vertical waste-water pipe was replaced since it showed signs of weakness that might cause problems later. The post-project care impressed me the most. Everything had been paid for. The terms of the written contract had already been more than fulfilled. I spontaneously decided that a new toilet for the basement would be a good idea. I called Isaac. While I was talking about what the installation cost might be, Isaac said the toilet would be replaced with a new one, for free! It was done the next day. The old one was hauled away. A few weeks passed and during that time I decided we should hook up the bathroom sink instead of first waiting for some floor work to be done. Again, a phone call was all it took to get Isaac to take care of it, again, at no extra cost! This willingness to do so many post-project, post-payment tasks must be part of the reason why NCDP has such a strong reputation. Based on my experience with Isaac and his team for this major project, I fully recommend trusting NCDP to take care of your plumbing problems in a professional, cost-effective, customer-centered manner.
