We had to move 2 houses and then move once again after the house was finish. Each move the staff provided were great and the office personnel was supportive and understanding of each move. Thank you Hussein. Great Job

From the first encounter with Hussein Sherazi (Sr. Moving Coordinator) at Rent-a-Son through to the amazing service we got from Kerry and Kevin who did our actual move - Rent-a-Son was amazing. Considering how nightmarish moving usually is, this was such a delightful surprise. They were smart, resourceful, careful, helpful, courteous and just willing to help all around. As this was part 1 of a staging move, we know EXACTLY who we'll be calling to do our final move for us. Thanks Rent-a-Son. You ROCK!

When I moved to Toronto I used Rent-a-Son to help me unpack my POD. I used two "sons" for 4 hours. They were incredible! They worked so hard and so quickly. They were courteous, punctual and pleasant and were really careful with my stuff. It really was a great experience. I am moving again soon and I will DEFINITELY be using them again.

I was lucky to hear about Rent a Son from a neighbour of mine. She raved about the service, so when my "real" son and son-in-law became too busy with their own responisbilities to continue helping me with certain seasonal jobs around the house, I called Rent a Son. This was the best money I had spent in a long time. The young man who came was prompt, hard-working and polite. Luckily, I had made a list of what I had wanted done, because he worked so quickly and accomplished more than I could have imagined. I take advantage of this wonderful service at least twice a year. Each time, the service lives up to, and exceeds, my expectations. I have recommended Rent a Son to many people, all of whom have thanked me many times. Three cheers for Rent a Son! nice work - they were quick to get back to me, quick to arrange a time, kyle and nick (the movers) arrived promptly and the entire move took exactly the amount of time that they estimated (and there was no waiting around or slow-motion moving in order to match the estimated time). they worked quickly, efficiently and were very friendly. thanks, guys.

I had a great experience with Rent a Son. They moved everything in a timely manner and were very pleasant and easy to work with. The only issue I have doesn't have to do with their quality of work and it's that they charged me 1.5 hours of work for them to drive from their office to my location so it's better if you have a larger job for them to do.

These are the best movers in Ontario. We were moving from a condo to a house. Julio, Javier and Paul were running just five minutes late to the condo, but called in advance to let me know - very considerate. When they arrived, they didn't know that the condo didn't have an elevator, and the move would involve them going up and down four flights of stairs for every box. They didn't complain - they just got to work. On the other side, they faced some obstacles because the design of our house makes taking furniture upstairs tricky. Still - no complaints. Even when I told them they didn't have to move some things, and that I would move them later, they replied with "no ma'am, it's our job, tell us what we can do to help." What movers are like that?! They took the greatest care with our belongings in both homes. By the end of the move, there was not a single scratch on any piece of furniture or wall in either home. They were incredibly kind, patient and hardworking. They are worth every single penny, and I highly recommend them over any other service. They also come out cheaper than many of their other competitors also listed on homestars (I called and spoke to 6 services before deciding to go with Rent-a-son based on their price and professionalism). By the next day, I had the invoice in my hands with no hidden fees - it was bang on the estimate (Dustin - the president, is gifted for calculating ahead of time what he thinks the move will cost you). Rent-a-son is exceptional in every way. They will be our movers for life.

Having looked at so many moving companies, and getting more confused than ever, I turned to Homestars for guidance. I picked one of their top rated moving companies, and I was not disappointed. I gave Rent a Son my particulars ( move furniture only, no boxes ) and they returned with a written estimate shortly thereafter. Moving day came and they arrived on time, did the job efficiently, finishing within 15 minutes of the original estimate. No problems, no breakage. They made it super easy. Thanks, Dustin, for your professionalism, and your guys did an excellent job. I would use Rent a Son again, and I will look to Homestars for any other projects.

I have used Rent-a-Son many times - to move apartments, to help pack and unpack, to do odd jobs and general help around the apartment, like putting together file cabinets, etc. I have some mobility issues and it is really like having a young "son" around to do these jobs that I have neither the time, patience or ability. I give them a 10 out of 10 rating.

very helpful, polite and thorough young man. Followed all our instructions and did a fine job. this is the fourth time we have used the service, and I will continue to do so throughout the year, for any work we have requiring strong arms and patient work.
