Vannak, Junior and Brian moved our family yesterday into our new home. They were so professional, kind and efficient. Everything was wrapped with clean blankets and tape - they really took great care with each of our items and packed them much better than we could have!! Truly I would say the best part of their work though was their polite and courteous manner. It was pouring rain all day, and they never once complained and always had a smile on their face. Really the best experience we've had with movers. Highly recommend this team!!

My initial plan was to have Rent-a-Son move my basement items to a PODS container that would be parked in our driveway. However, when our PODS container arrived there was not enough room to manoeuvre it into the space and the space was not big enough. I immediately called Rent-a-Son with the dilemma and they said they could send a truck with the movers and the movers could load the furniture and take it to the PODS location in Mississauga. I was very impressed with how quickly they were able to arrange everything (in less than an hour) for the next day when the movers were originally scheduled to come. When the renovation is over, I will have them pick up my furniture at PODS and move it back. Getting a permit for the PODS container on a Toronto street can't be done if there is a wait list for Permit Parking, so this is really the best alternative. I was pleased as well that PODS did not charge for the delivery of the container. Rent-a-Son movers Graydon and Ayjab were very proficient and respectful. Also, my coordinator Amanda was lovely to work with and extremely patient with all my questions.

They arrived on time, got right to work and took very good care of our furniture and belongings. They were very pleasant to deal with and knew what they were doing. I can't think of any thing else they could have done to make it a better experience for us.

Both on pick up and delivery the men came on time with all equipment needed. I can't remember the names of the first crew but they were fantastic. They took apart and wrapped everything that needed doing. The delivery crew - Corey and Brian were equally good and made sure we were totally set up and even put an old dishwasher that was in our basement into our garage. Rent A Son was extremely honest with the time the job took I which was less than we had booked them for. We would recommend and have recommended them to anyone. We recently used Rent-A-Son for our move in Toronto. All I can say is that they exceeded my expectations in all areas. The movers were very professional, prompt and courteous. I won't hesitate to use their services for any moves in the future as well!

We've used Rent-a-son several times and they have alway been exemplary! Rob, our service rep was outstanding. Movers Corey and Adjei were awesome and happy entertain my many requests. Rent-a son is our only choice when it comes to moving and storage. Job well done!

We recently bought a house and needed to declutter our condo to ready it for sale. To that end, we chose Rent-a-Son because they were able to provide packing, moving and storage solutions, which we needed. Erika was our moving coordinator and she was very easy to work with. She was very responsive and she got everything worked out quickly given that we were planning everything on short notice right before the Easter long-weekend. The moving crew (3 guys) was scheduled to show up at 8:30AM to start packing, but they arrived closer to 8:45AM due to traffic. We only had the elevator in the building booked from 9AM to 12PM as the afternoon was already booked for another move, so we had to make sure everything went quickly. The crew worked diligently and only ended up going a little over the time, which didn't end up being a problem because the movers for the afternoon were also apparently running behind. As for the crew, they were all very professional and careful with our belongings. Since we were preparing the place for staging and not doing a full move, we had to go through each room and indicate exactly what was staying and what wasn't. They listened and asked questions when they weren't sure about something. I have misplaced the papers with all of their names, but I know Junior and Allen were two of the movers and they were great. Very nice guys and they explained everything that needed to be explained. At one point, one of the movers chipped a ceramic flower pot and he told me right away, which I appreciated. The crew took our belongings to Rent-a-Son's storage facilities and will be helping with our final move in a couple months. I appreciated the efforts of Erika and the crew given the tight time frame we were working with and the "fussiness" of the move since they weren't just packing everything up. I look forward to working with them again soon!

4.5 yrs ago we hired Rent A Son to pack a 20' container for off-site storage. Today that container was delivered to my new address and Rent A Son (specifically Corey & Adjei) moved all my stuff into my new home. Fantastic service! Great guys!.

I hired Rent-a-Son for packing and moving services on the recommendation of my realtor, and they exceeded my expectations! Erika, the moving coordinator was very organized and the packers and movers were both very efficient. They came ready to disassemble and reassemble my IKEA bed with the right tools (which another moving company missed even though I notified them in advance), and were incredibly thoughtful - on moving day, one of the movers recommended I keep some of the padding wrapped around the furniture due to renovations, and I was able to rent the pads for an extra couple of weeks to protect the couch and other items from damage. I heartily recommend them for both moving and packing services!
