We moved our office with Rent-a-Son and the movers (Andre, Kyle and Mikel) were all great. There were able to able to navigate the stairs, corners and every other challenge of our two sites w/o any issues. In summary: They were on-time, efficient and nothing was lost or broken. Couldn't have asked for a better move.

I’ve moved 3 times in the last 5 years and no other company has been better than Rent A Son. They were professional, courteous and beyond helpful. Rob came by a week before the move to have a look around and took a very detailed list of the things that needed packing. He then sent me estimates for moving supplies, packing services and the actual move. They dropped boxes and tape off for me early in the week and then Mark and Vance came over the day before the move to pack all of my breakable items. The next day, they came back with Junior and Joseph and all four guys were great. They had my whole house packed into the trucks within two hours! Overall, the experience was great, I would highly recommend this company and surely use them again if I ever move. The communication was easy and they’re truly all about customer satisfaction! I moved from my parents house in Mississauga to an apartment in Toronto on February 11, 2017- they came on time - 5 minutes before noon, were very polite, explained what I needed to know and did their jobs very well! The two guys, Julian and David, worked well together and did their job efficiently - they even fixed the back of my nightstand! My breakables were treated with a lot of care and everything arrived in one piece! The drive there went well, they took great care on the highway and went to great lengths to carefully enter the area behind my new apartment - a tight squeeze but they did it! The back stairs were used even though they were metal, they covered them with a carpet and got to work right away - all I had to do was stand out of the way and watch! Same great care was taken here as in Mississauga - no furniture broken or damaged, boxes were put down gently, etc. I would definitely recommend these guys!

Friendly and professional staff. Team was on time and quick to load and unload, move was done within estimated time. I was especially pleased as this was a tricky inter province move. All went smoothly considering the intricacy of move (snow and awful 2nd story staircase) I definitely recommend Rent-a-Son to any one who needs a moving company! Originally, I called my previous moving company for my upcoming move. They had done a great job moving us in the past. Shocked at the new quote to move less stuff for 4x the cost and turning it into a 2 day move with no room for negotiations caused me to look for a new company. I realize that prices do go up... but not that much. Rent-a-son came highly recommend. I called a few more companies for a quote and they were all close in cost with each other. (But at least 1/2 the cost of The other company). Amanda was the sales rep that I dealt with and she was the reason I chose Rent-a-son. She would answer any questions, modify my quote as I kept changing my mind on what I was keeping or selling, etc. A great representative for the company. Moving day arrived and we had a bit of a snow storm (joys of winter moving). The guys brought runners to protect the floors. Yes, there were foot prints on the floors when we were done, but that's expected after a day of snow. In fact, by the end of the day, I think they had 3-5 layers of runners because of how wet their shoes were getting. They really tried hard and I have no complaints. I had such a great team of movers. They were wonderful, nice, respectful, friendly (and pet friendly) and very hard working. I was exhausted by the end of the day and I was only telling them where to place things. Corey, Junior, Graydon, Alan, Dan D., and Mikel was my dream team. I highly recommended these guys and this company. I am definitely requesting them again when I move again in a couple years. Great Team! Great Company! Great Move!

My original movers failed to show because of a mechanical problem with their truck. This was the 1st of the month, which is possibly the busiest time for moving. I despaired about finding a mover at such short notice, and after calling several (who were all booked for the day) I contacted Rent-a-Son. They came 15 minutes after they said they would, but were very prepared with an adequate sized van for my move. Both movers were young and I was concerned about their experience. But, there was one experienced full-time mover and a part timer. The full-time mover was very gregarious but seemed a little challenged about loading an elevator efficiently. The part-timer was not very enthusiastic and I really had to push to get things loaded and unloaded within the 4 hour minimum time limit. I have moved a fair bit and so I was able to assist and supervise. I would still use them again.

I have used Rent-a-Son three times in the last three years and have them booked for the next stage of my move in two weeks. I have been impressed each and every time. The "sons" are professional, polite, friendly, considerate and caring; they have taken such good care of every piece of furniture I own. I have moved many times in the last ten years and have found the only moving company I will ever use again. I highly recommend Rent-a-Son for your next move.

We quoted with several companies for our long move from Toronto to Ottawa. Rent-a-son was very competitive but most than anything very personable and quick to respond any question or concern. The service was amazing, we didn't even need to go to Toronto. They picked up our belongings in storage and brought them to Ottawa next morning (they arrived 9am sharp as expected). The crew was very professional, respectful and quick. They took great care of our belongings and helped us with basic assembly of furniture. Couldn't be happier!

The Rent-A-Son team was great, very good communication from the start of the quoting process. We had lots of stuff packed into our two bedroom place, as well as making a stop at an off-site storage, the Rent-A-Son Team worked EXTREMELY hard in sweltering conditions, very careful, professional, they worked constantly from the minute they arrived. We were very grateful for their professionalism and their hard work. Would definitely recommend Rent-A-Son for this kind of move.
