I didn't hire this company but received from them delivered goods to store in my home. Julian and David were efficient, polite, receptive to special requests, and careful with everything they moved. They were even nice to and tolerant of my excited dog!

Rent-a-Son provided a very competitive estimate for our long-distance move out of Toronto. Amanda was fantastic in setting up the move- she was one of the first to call me back after my initial inquiry (she actually called me just after 5pm on a FRIDAY afternoon). Julian and Kyle are true professionals. They packed everything up with care and after a full day on the road, unpacked with the same level of diligence. Thanks a lot guys!

We hired the company to do an apartment move from Toronto to London. The three men arrived on time. They were very courteous and friendly. Best of all, they were efficient and worked hard. All in all a very good experience. I would hire them again.

This was the first time I used a moving company as I always saw this as an unnecessary cost, but I have to say that it was well worth the cost after my experience with Rent-a-Son on 21 January 2017. From my coordinator Rob, to my two movers Julian and Dave, I was impressed with the service from beginning event. Through the entire process, these three were organized, responsive, flexible and careful. Rob was great in responding to my (many) questions. Julian and Dave were a pleasure to deal with. Forget the horror stories you hear about movers -- these guys are fantastic!

We recently moved between homes, and Daniel and his team did a fantastic job. They arrived on time, were courteous, carefully wrapped pretty well every piece moved, and did so without any damage. The 6 person crew completed the job within the time frame quoted, and the invoice was actually slightly below the estimate given. For a moving company, that's a nice surprise! We've moved a few times over the years, and this has been by far the best experience to date. Will absolutely use them again.

I moved in December from my apartment rental to a house I had bought. I was a little hesitant because I had never hired professional movers before and they didn't do on-site visits, but they took a good inventory by the list I provided, and the coordinator, Amanda, kept in frequent email contact and that helped me feel better. They gave me an estimate that seemed about the normal rate. It was a really smooth move. Jordan was the team lead and he showed up on time, was friendly and professional. I was also nervous because they could only fit the truck in front of the building, not the back, and it was snowing. One of the movers showed up a little later, not that much, and they adjusted my final bill to reflect that, which was perfect. They also tackled the fact my apartment was up 2.5 flights of stairs. They had runners to keep the floors clean. All the furniture was wrapped, and they provided some wardrobe boxes too. I had most of my things packed in boxes, but they were willing to move anything else, including a hamper and a laundry basket full of things. They moved everything I wanted, could leave what I wanted, and even moved a dresser I didn't want anymore to the curb. I think my move was pretty straightforward except for the stairs and all my boxes of books. They ended up having to take my bed apart to move it to the second floor; it was tricky and took some time, but they got it done. They put everything in the rooms I wanted. They finished exactly in the time they estimated. Everything they dissembled, they reassembled. Nothing was broken or damaged. The only thing I wish they had done was contact me the day before just to re-confirm, and/or call me the morning of as well to let me know they were on their way. Otherwise, the communication pre-moving day was great. I really wasn't sure about hiring a moving service based on a website, but it went very well and in the end I'm glad I paid for it. We used this mover to move my mother's furniture from her home to a retirement residence. The minimum hours required by Rent-a-Son was six. Although the move took a lot less than that, it was worth every penny. The two gentlemen showed up exactly on time, and moved all of the boxes, clothing and furniture quickly and with care.

Anyone getting ready to move should contact Rent-a-Son. They were great to work with. Amanda looked after the move and it went perfectly. Happy to recommend this company. In fact everyone was great. The movers took great care of our valued possessions.

I already suggested her to use Rent a Son's service and contact Amanda for further moving planning. To be honest, movers were lasting hard-working on Saturday. They were very careful when packing, moving the furniture and deliver. Thanks movers for such a smooth move! Great service! I was very pleased with my experience with Rent-a-Son. Jenn was very helpful in putting together a quote that was accurate and reasonable. I had requested an earlier than usual start time and Jason and Kyle arrived on time. They were fast, efficient and very accommodating. Being a weekend, I was working with a minimum time frame. At the end of the move, I had some time left. I asked Jason if they could build 2 stools for me and they were more than happy to do it. I wouldn't hesitate to use Rent-a-Son for my next move.
