    Moving

    From start to finish we had a great experience with Rent-a-Son during our recent move to a new two-bedroom condo. Nick, Austin, and Alan showed up on time, took great care with our stuff, and had a great attitude despite some setbacks out of our control (loading bay access, elevator, etc). Nick even took time to apply felt pads to the bottom of our furniture to protect the new flooring, a nice extra touch. There was only one minor "casualty" -- a ceramic lampshade that had been wrapped in a protective blanket, but just fell the wrong way during unloading. It happens. The guys felt really bad but it was no great loss. The most valuable and delicate furniture and items all arrived intact and in the same shape they left. We were very satisfied. The quote Erika and Rob gave us was accurate, the crew worked hard and made things easier for us on moving day, and we would definitely use their services again. Recommended.

    Move

    I used Rent-a-Son for a move out of my large 1 bedroom condo into the storage facility at their warehouse and everything about the process was incredible. The team who moved out my possessions were so friendly, courteous and professional - and moreover, they easily adapted to a less than perfect elevator and loading dock situations without any complaint or stress. They also took great care wrapping up my furniture and were so gentle moving my items, I was totally amazed. Further, the customer service I've received from the move co-ordinator has been impeccable. I highly recommend this company!

    moving

    I recently used Rent-a-Son to move from a condo to a house and the team was extremely professional and efficient. They arrived on time, were always courteous and jovial and were very careful with the handling of furniture and boxes. Nothing was scratched or broken. This is certainly a company you can rely on.

    Moving

    We used rent-a-son to pack up and move our 3 bedroom household. The team delivered outstanding and superior service from start to finish. I was very impressed with the service quality and professionalism of the team and will recommend Rent-a-son to anyone I know who is moving. Team arrived on time, estimates were accurate and the work was completed on time. They took great care with our belongings - didn't have a single thing break along the way. Very impressed.

    moving services

    After getting several quotes for my move I settled on Rent-a-son because they appeared to be the most professional and trustworthy moving company of the bunch. They did not disappoint. Dave, Andrej, Dwight and Dan were extremely professional, efficient and completely customer focused. I would highly recommend this company and in particular this moving crew to all.

    Perfect Move

    Rent-a-Son are as good as it gets and better than I thought possible. The booking process was thorough and precise yet jovial and my crew showed up on time and got to work. As I was giving the tour my team asked me lots of pertinent questions as to what goes or stays and if there was anything I needed right away at the new house. They wrapped everything up in their blue mover blankets before taking it outside saying "if you're always safe you'll never be sorry". And sorry they were not! At my new house they unwrapped my stuff and put said blankets over my banisters and front door, they even had long floor covers. I was amazed at how efficiently they worked - if you want them to take a break you almost have to twist their arms. Nic was incredible had two big bags of felt pads with him to put on the feet of my furniture, something I hadn't thought of. When my mother told them how nice it is that they treat my stuff as if it's their own he laughed and said "we don't treat our own stuff this well! We are treating it as if it's NOT ours". I couldn't be happier and I almost look forward to moving again so I can have another visit from my sons.

    Move

    Move from Montréal to Toronto. I made boxes and they took care of the rest. Came on time, one guy was missing the two left did a great job. Friendly and professional.

    2bdrm to a house

    My "sons" did a fantastic job the day of the move. As the reviews implied, they were friendly, professional and most of all, gentle with contents of the move. All furniture was wrapped along with boxes being gently managed. We had more than what was estimated and I forewarned Amanda a day prior. The message was received with my sons and they took inventory and re-estimated the job. They were right on the mark when we got everything moved over to the house. Was very very please with their service, best movers I've had yet!

    Move to a new residence

    Erika at Rent-a-Son was very prompt in working with me to set up a quote on the moving costs and to schedule the move. The moving crew showed up on time, very efficiently wrapped and loaded all furniture and boxes onto truck. They then unloaded everything into new residence, placed furniture in locations indicated, and removed all packing materials. Extra care was taken with 20 large paintings, glasswork and other fragile materials. The crew was very cooperate, courteous and effective, and NOTHING GOT BROKEN!

    Moving

    Found Rent-a-Son online in a best of Toronto List. True to form this company was awesome. Aslan was very calming and patient as I asked a million questions during booking. Kevin & Corey showed up 15 minutes early and were ready to work! Every single item that left my house was wrapped and taped. Other movers had ripped my mattress on the banister, so I let these guys know. I looked away for a few minutes and they had wrapped up the banister so as not to damage anything. I have heard such horror stories about movers and was quite hesitant that something would get scratched or damaged and even expected it. When they rolled out their blue carpet onto my crappy hardwood floor I knew I was in good hands. Nothing damaged or even scratched! I would totally recommend this company to anyone looking to move and will definitely use them again. Good work should be recognized and rewarded! I even made them a cup of tea and they were still done well before their allotted time.
