    Internal Move

    I randomly found Rent a Son on the internet. There was 5 staff moving to a different section. I was going to get 3 quotes however after meeting with Rob Nunner I decided to stick with him. He was knowledgeable and suggested I break the move into two parts, one part being garbage removal and the second part the actual move. Two guys came for the garbage removal - I had a large bin that was outside the building. They had to go down 2 flights of stairs and it was freezing outside. They were great. They even helped move some furniture when asked. 3 days later we had 5 guys come for the moving day. I took them around and explained this was a company move with at least 5 people giving them directions on how they wanted their office. They were able to take information, process it and make good decisions by working together as a team. 2 left with 30 boxes for storage at another company. The 3 remaining kept asking for more work ! Both times arrival first thing in the morning on time. I feel that Rent a Son employees were the best movers I have ever had. And I've moved a few times personally. It could have been chaotic but it wasn't. Rent a Son movers were helpful, personable, fast, smart, efficient, strong, hard workers, good listeners and a real pleasure to work with. Moving sucks but they make it bearable.

    House Move

    We needed to move the big stuff from our condo to our house. After a great call with Amanda at Rent-a-Son, we chose to use their services. She went over all the charges and answered my questions, both on the phone and in emails. We were very pleased with the move! Nick, Cory and Kevin showed up exactly on time and started right away on the work. They were friendly and strong, and understood how to keep my antique furniture safe and free of harm. They arrived at our house, unloaded the van and helped us set up the big pieces of furniture again. No request was too much. And when they left, it was as if friends had been our movers. Definitely recommend.

    Moved in no time!

    Rent-a-son was probably the best move I've ever had. Austin and Gerry showed up early, got the direction needed from me and got to it. They were machines taking boxes two at a time down two long flights of stairs from the third floor. At the destination same energy to finish up. Not to mention an hour early! ~tim

    Cross border move

    This review is long overdue but can't say enough good things for Rent-a-son! Had a tighttimeline to have our whole house moved from Toronto to Fort Myers and Amanda was prompt, friendly, and extremely helpful with her response. Reached out to her on a Friday, had the movers in by Monday, and everything unpacked and set in Florida by Thursday. No hidden costs or extra charges either! I would recommend this company to anyone who's planning a move as we all know it can be a stressful process

    Move

    We got three estimates on our complicated 2 pick up 1 drop off and our too many stairs and corners townhome. Erika from Rent-a-Son was right on our personalized quote. The other 2 companies we recieved form emails and no personal touch. We end up with 2 trucks and 5 guys from Rent-a-Son. Our move was completed much much sooner that a 1 truck job. All the guys were really professional, hard working and very friendly. They got our king mattress around an impossible height restrictions and corners. We are very glad we went with Rent-A-Son.... just great service and you need that with all the stress of moving.

    Movers/Moving

    On Sunday February 22 I used Rent a Son to move me from my 1 bdrm apartment to my new 1bdrm apartment. I was very anxious about the whole thing. I initially called another company but my gut said "get a second estimate" and I'm happy I did. Hussain the moving co-ordinator was polite, professional and timely in his responses and the estimate he gave me was not only accurate and what I ended up owing at the end of the move, it was $400 dollars less than my first estimate, with another company, that offered less. On moving day, four, strong, professional and jovial young men (Dave, Nick, Alan and Jerry) showed up exactly on time and moved my things carefully and swiftly. They even wrapped all my furniture, which is something they told me they do for all their clients on every move. They made something stressful as pleasant as possible. They worked really well together and adapted well to challenges that popped up. They even moved my big ikea unit and elliptical as smoothly as possible. Dave thanks for stacking my Frog boxes so precisely (I noticed it after you were already gone) and Nick or Allan? thanks for putting the protectors on the feet of my furniture. These guys go above and beyond and are smart and funny. I would recommend them and I would definitely go to them again.

    Moving apartment into storage

    Was moving countries and wanted to take the stress out of putting our 2 bedroom apartment into storage. Rentason were super quick moving everything in 3 hours and they wrapped our more delicate furniture. They were constantly working hard and didn't take any breaks. Really pleased with the whole experience and will use Rent-a-son again.

    Office Moving

    The moving service was really good. The sons we rented were nice and professional. They arrived a few minutes late due to the downtown traffic, but they finished it early. We will definitely use their service again when we move in future. Great job, rent-a-son.

    Long Distance Move Toronto to Chicago

    Rent-a-Son did a fantastic job on both ends of my move. The guys loading in Toronto did a great job in making sure that any items that were disassembled all the components were clearly marked and packed. Upon arrival in Chicago it made unpacking and putting everything back together a total breeze. On both ends of the move the guys were extremely professional, nice, and efficient! I could not have asked for a better moving company.

    Moving House

    Rent a son's team - Dave, Allan and Dom, moved us efficiently and with zero hassle. We were moved within the time estimated and paid exactly what we were quoted. We moved from a condo downtown to a house in Vaughan and had a delay with getting use of the lift. The boys acted to ensure that there wouldn't be too great a delay.They were organized, clean, friendly, structured and efficient. They endured our furniture was protected at all times and even laid protective flooring to keep the place clean. Thank you Dave, Allan and Dom of rent a son for making such a Stressful event a pleasant, easy experience. Thank you for ensuring we had livable space and for moving the furniture around to my liking! cheers!
