The best moving company I've ever hired, period. Hussein the move coordinator really came through for us when we called him the night before the move (a different previously-booked moving company cancelled on us so I called these guys) - and got an awesome 3-man crew to help us out. Crew was punctual, efficient, courteous and *extremely* careful; they moved glass-top desks, huge pieces of furniture and all our odds and ends with nary a scratch or dent. Where required, they even disassembled and reassembled furniture. All of this done with a smile. I cannot thank these guys enough!

Very skilled and courteous movers. They were very adept at both moving things within a condo building and elevators and into my new 2 story house through narrow staircases. I appreciated the care they took with our belongings and that there was no damage from the move to either our old condo or new home. I would recommend them to anyone who wants a stress-free move and I will use this company again if I ever need to move.

Better late than never! We contacted Rent A Son in September of last year to get a quote for our move in December. Erika was fantastic to deal with. Always professional and willing to help. She came out and gave us a visual estimate. Their quote was not the cheapest but I felt confident hiring them based on all the good reviews. Erika was in contact with me over the next few months and confirmed the move the day before (we moved in December 2012). Movers were professional and wrapped up everything so well so as not to incur any damage. They were quick and so super strong! Move only took about 4 hours as they only needed to move our furniture. I would highly recommend this company.

Amazing! This is how a move should be. And how a business should be run. These guys were honest, straight-up, professional, knowledgeable, well-equipped, hard working, positive and enthusiastic right from the initial estimate all the way to the final billing. We used Rent-a-Son services on three occasions for packing transfer of furniture to a storage POD, and temporary move from a five-bedroom house to an apartment for renovations. Michael provided detailed and timely quotes each time that were competitively priced. The movers and packers showed up on time, were remarkably efficient and provided helpful advice. Their services were value for money and cheaper than other competitors. This was our most hassle free move thanks to their professional services. We will definitely use their services again in the future!

Fantastic company. We got an in-home assessment from Hussein who was completely professional and right on as far as quote went. The team of guys (led by Aslan) was fantastic. Nothing got damaged and even though it ended up being longer than we thought on a stifling hot day, the guys never complained. They did a fantastic job, protected our furniture and walls. We will use them again the next time we move.

The team from rent-a-son made my move as stress-free as possible. Hussein's quote was accurate, the team (led by Aslan) was exceptionally professional and dedicated. They worked very hard and didn't stop until the job was done. In addition, the final amount was very close to the estimated total. They came on Friday and packed everything. the team moved it all on Saturday and then unpacked the next day. Nothing was damaged, nothing was lost. I couldn't ask for a better moving experience.

On time, very friendly, dealt with the moving elevators on their own,safely moved a number of valuable pieces of art, without needing any assistance from me. We were about to do our first move in Canada and had read some horror stories about trucks being loaded up, and then more money being demanded than what was quoted in order to finish the move, etc. We didn't want to experience something like that and so we went with Rent a Son (a company will a good reputation). They were professional, courteous and efficient throughout the whole process. I dealt with Erika who did the booking and she provided me with a reasonable quote which we accepted. She said that the move would take about 5 hours. The three young guys arrived on time at 8:30am and packed up our apartment in an hour. Each and every piece of furniture was wrapped and covered with blankets and wrap to protect it - not just the items like mirrors and televisions. The entire move from our ground floor apartment in Leaside to our 24th floor apartment in Deer Park took three hours. We couldn't believe it! And this was done by friendly, helpful and strong guys. Thanks to Erika, Ryan and his team. We can't sing your praises enough and will definitely use your company for our next move!
