I am a real estate agent an have a lot of contacts in the moving business. I decided to hire Rent-A-Son for my own personal move and was very pleased with the service provided. Hugh, Allen and Evan were on-time, courteous, respectful and efficient. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Rent-A-Son again and will recommend the company to my clients.

Made my first move in a long time. Decided to hire Rent-a-son and it was the best thing I've done in a long time. Worth every penny. My 3 son's for the day were awesome. They arrived on time, worked fast, respected my stuff by wrapping and had fun the whole time. They we joking and singing while working hard. They moved fast and put everything where it needed to be. I will never move again with out them!!! They even finished a bit early which reduced my cost in the end. Don't hesitate to hire them for your move.

I had used an industry giant with a previous move and felt you paid a premium for lots of promises. We tried rent a son and they were incredible. Professional, punctual, reliable. A pleasure to work with. Highly recommended. They did not upsell. They were honest and their quote was extremely competitive. Will be using them again.

True to the reviews I had seen on this site hiring Rent-A-Son was a great idea. They arrived promptly and were really friendly, professional and efficient. Thanks to Keith, John and Andrea they made my move into a new condo seamless. None of my furniture got damaged as they wrapped each item in large blankets and were aware of how I wanted specific items to be moved. My only disappointment was that none of them asked me for my number. All in all I would not hesitate to use Rent-A-Son again.

Overall, it was a good experience. My coordinator was Patrick and he was great to deal with! Love the fact that they ask for a list of items before giving a quote, ours was 100% accurate! No hidden costs, no gimmicks, the right amount of supplies & right number of people. They showed up on time (they called to let me know they were running 5 minutes late...5 minutes!), worked within the quoted timeframe, showed a lot of curtesy and care towards my items (more than half were mirrored and/or glass!) and they completed the move with absolutely no damage! The only constructive criticism is that it can get a bit messy. The runners they use to protect the floors are a bit dirty and I don't know that they get cleaned between moves so a lot of dirt gets tracked into the house, but i suppose that is to be expected. After the move, Patrick followed up with me to get feedback...what amazing customer service. Would definitely use them again!

We hired Rent a Son a few months ago to do our move from a condo to our new house. They were AMAZING. As someone who moves A LOT, they have been by far the best. Showed up on time, super friendly and professional, and very quick and insanely attentive to detail, put everything where it needed to be, didn't mind waiting around while we figured out where things had to go, etc.. and they were very careful with our breakable things. Would use them again over any other company we've used.

Excellent experience during recent move from Toronto to Vineland. The move required loading from one location and dropping off at three different locations. Hugh and his team were excellent. Very professional and accommodating. Would use them again and recommend them to family and friends.

I had not heard of Rent-a-son before reading about them on Homestars.ca. I decided to hire them based on their excellent reviews, and now I am pleased to add an excellent review of my own. Let me begin by saying that I have moved many times in my life, and I have had many experiences with movers, many of them quite bad. I've had movers show up hung over. Movers who have shown up late. Once a company didn't show up at all. I've had movers who have complained mid-job that the stairs were too high, that the furniture was too heavy, and once I even had a couple of movers threatening to raise the price unless I gave them big tips at the end. I did not give them big tips. Now lets talk about Rent-a-son. Patrick was my contact, and he came over to provide an estimate. He's a very professional and friendly fellow. And his estimate was good too. On moving day, the team showed up exactly on time. The foreman was Justin, along with Andrej and Sylvanus. All three of them are very friendly and professional, as well as very big, and very strong. This made the move go very quickly (faster than the estimated time), because they each were able to accomplish so much, extremely efficiently. Sylvanus carried my old 50" TV like it was a graham cracker. He also made excellent recommendations for furniture placement that got us out of a bind or two. The entire crew had a friendly, helpful attitude all day. Its hard to say enough about them. They were the best of the best. I would definitely hire them again. I give them my highest recommendation.

This company truly deserves its 10 out of 10 rating. From the responsiveness of the move coordinator (Michael), to the friendliness and professionalism of the movers (Aslan, Andre and Carlos), working with them was a great experience. They handled all my items with great skill and care. Super polite and patient. And they finished the job in less time than had been estimated, so I saved about $300 off the total I had budgeted. I would not hesitate to recommend Rent-A-Son to anyone planning a move.

Our move took place over 2 days. Picking up from both a storage facility and our condo. Everyone we dealt with from Rent-a-Son was personable and professional. These guys truly go the extra mile to ensure your belongings arrive intact and that you are fully satisfied with their work. Their estimate was accurate, they crew was on time everyday, and they worked like mad men. Rent-a-Sons is THE best movers I've ever dealt with, period!
