What people generally want in a mover is a company that asks the right questions, gives a full, thorough quote that is at least reasonable and has no hidden surprises, sends the truck and crew on time and that crew does a good, careful, conscientous and efficient job. That's what we wanted and that's what Rent-a-Son delivered on Oct 13. The bonus was a pleasant, polite crew who made it all seem easy. Thank you!

I have moved many times but I have never had such professional movers and office staff. Polite ,courteous and extremely helpful even with more than one pick up locations. Moving is traumatic but this company made it easy. I highly recommend Rent-A Son movers

This company is efficient and conscientious. The team led by Junior made this the smoothest move we have ever experienced. Hussein, who coordinated the move and came out to give the estimate, was both helpful and informative. In assessing pre-existing damages one member of the team noted a tear on our sofa, damage caused by a sloppy moving company also on Home Stars web site. We left the appropriate review for them. No damages this time. Rent-A-Son was meticulous in handling and protecting our possessions. Highly reccommend!

I hired Rent-a-son to move my 2 bedroom condo to my new house, and I was very pleased with the service. The three movers we had were very polite, respectful, and efficient. I interacted with Hussein via phone and email and he was prompt, professional, and sent confirmation of all move details. I was apprehensive about hiring movers (this was my first time), because of the many horror stories out there, but in my experience, I never got the impression that Rent-a-son is anything but professional and trustworthy. Very reasonably priced, as well. I am already referring Rent-a-son to others. :)

Yes, it is true! Rent-a-Son is the the son (or sons) you've always dreamed of... Staging to sell our home, we decided to move some furniture into storage. Hussein - the person I spoke to on the phone - had the perfect mix of being friendly but not too familiar. He made making the arrangements fun and he gave lots of great advice. On the move day, Dusan and Aslan showed up to strong-arm our furniture. Both of these guys were so polite and so careful. I cannot say enough about them. They were able to move our boxes and furniture without even a nick to our walls. I would willingly recommend Rent-a-Son and Dusan & Aslan for any moving job.

This is the fourth time I have used Rent-A-Son and without a doubt this was the best and I noted a substantial improvement in the professional appearance. The two guys were punctual, always willng to help throughout the process and the quality was outstanding. They took initative during the off-loading process at Goodwill and at the Recycle Centre and it was their initative that made the whole process move along smoothly and well within the budgeted hours.

Great Service for beginning to end with Rent-a-Son! The sales quote was the lowest out of 5 that I received and exactly to the penny of what I was billed, no surprises no hidden fees. The movers were efficient, professional and diligent with wrapping my furniture. Made my move stress free! I had planned a move to a new city for quite a while from a house I had lived in for many years. I was not looking forward to the moving process after hearing countless horror stories of priceless heirlooms and beloved possessions being destroyed by careless movers. Not to mention the shady practice of asking for more money before releasing delivered items from moving trucks. After doing a great deal of research, I came upon Rent-a-Son, which seamed to have far better reviews than most of the other moving companies I had considered. Scheduling the move involved a series of e-mails and a couple of phone calls with a polite moving co-ordinator. The estimate I received seamed a little steep at first but I decided to proceed anyway. Moving day arrived and I was terribly nervous about what was going to happen. Thankfully I was pleasantly surprised to find three friendly men at my door eager to get started. They worked carefully and quickly, ensuring not to damage anything. Before I new it, the truck was full and on its way to my new home ahead of schedule. I should also mention that a great deal of thought was put into moving a very heavy piece of exercise equipment from the second level of my first house to the basement of my second home. At one point they realized that the only way to manoeuvre past the awkward landing on my basement steps was to turn the equipment upside-down. I was thoroughly impressed. I plan on using Rent-a-Son again to complete my move this autumn, and would recommend this company to anyone else that shared my fears about moving. They did a great job !

Our family has moved 5 times in the past 5 years so we`ve had our share of experiences with movers, some more painful (and expensive) than others. Rent-a-Son has by far been the best moving experience we`ve ever had. The move consisted of moving from a large storage unit in one town to a 4 bdrm home in another. From the very beginning, our co-ordinator Bob was able to immediately answer any questions and provide a clear and concise quote. Which helped a great deal as the day of the move ran like clockwork. The movers were punctual, courteous, professional and fast! The 3 movers never stopped until the job was done and in the end, the move was completed in half the time it took originally by a previous company. And half the time = half the price! :-) Most importantly, there was zero damage to our furniture, floors and walls, all fragile and large items were handled with care and the professionalism of the staff was outstanding.. I wouldn`t hesitate for a second to recommend this company. If you value your items and your home, this is who you should call.

We chose rent-a-son based on the positive reviews on home stars and were not disappointed. Patrick came to our house to provide an estimate, as we had both a garage and attic in addition to the stuff in the house. He was very nice and provided a quote within a day. On the day of the move, the movers showed up on time and ready to go. The "sons" were polite, very careful, and efficient. Nothing was broken, and they somehow managed to fill a truck to the brim like a Jenga puzzle. It was honestly a pleasure to spend the day with them. They even moved some heavy items from our new basement that we had already stored during renovations up three flights of stairs. My final bill was within $100 of the estimate. I would highly recommend their services.
