We used Rent-a-Son on Sept 12th, 2012 to help load our POD. We were all extremely impressed with how hard the two men worked. They were quick, efficient, and very friendly. I was so impressed that I have booked them again to help unload my POD when we move into our new home in October.

Great Service for loading my POD. The movers were very quick and proffessional, and made it stress free.They were very careful with our belongings. I am having my condo renovated and needed someone to take about 30 boxes I had packed down to my storage locker. I arranged this job a few months ago and worked with Hussein to accomplish that - he was great to deal with. My son arrived exactly on time as planned and did a great job of moving the boxes and organizing them exactly how I wanted. In fact, he did it better than I was originally thinking. Great service, totally reliable and it makes moving stuff really easy.

I hired Rent-a-Son to do a two-part staged move. The first part has been completed and I am absolutely thrilled. In less than 2 1/-2 hours, the three efficient, professional and fun movers had the contents of our 750 square foot condo wrapped and in the truck, ready to go to the storage facility. I have moved more times than I care to think about and this is the first time I haven't had to help or do anything other than offer the guys some water. Bob Mather was my contact at Rent-a-Son and he provided me with clear and concise estimates for the move. The movers were prompt and even when a slight delay crept in, Rent-a-Son called to let me know the movers might be late (they weren't). We have quite a few antique pieces going into storage until we move into our new house and all pieces were wrapped securely and will be kept in a climate-controlled environment. The cost per hour is completely reasonable and now that I've experienced the service, I'd say it's a great deal! I highly recommend Rent-a-Son.

We were very happy with the efficiency and care of Luis and Sam which was positively observes by the friends helping with the move. Erika was calming and reassuring when the road was blocked because of a nearby gas leak (cause of a long delay). Keep up the good work and treat the sons well!

Had a very positive overall experience with Rent-a-son. Chose them as our mover based on high Homestar and BBB ratings. Another factor was the quote, it was the highest of the three we received, but it seemed most reasonable. In the end, based on lots of prework, our move came in 1 hour less than the quote with no surprise costs. I don't see how it could have been done faster without cutting lots of corners. The team worked at a very fast pace and at times were even running back to the house to get another load. Hussein, the sales rep, was great to deal with and very personable - followup call the day after the move. All of the guys on the move team were very polite, helpful and made us feel comfortable with our stuff. The movers only asked us to sign for the time and in out and had nothing to do with billing. This was great as they seemed only motivated to get done quickly and no chance of the dreaded 'pay or else'. All of our family and neighbours were very impressed with the blue shirted team of 'sons'.

My sister and I have moved over five times in the last 20 years and have always had problems with whoever we hired. On the recommendation of a friend I went to HomeStars and checked out a number of companies, read the reviews and contacted them for a quote. In the end we went with Rent-a-Son and have never been happier. Three men showed up for my move on time and took complete control, carefully wrapping all furniture that required it, and moving everything into the truck in record time, always smiling and cheerful. Unloading at the other end went just as smoothly. I couldn't believe how stress-free the day was. My sister was so impressed that she called and asked if the same crew could do her move two days later. I'm not planning on moving anytime soon, but will definitely call Rent-a-Son without hesitation.

I needed my basement emptied, furniture moved to other rooms and boxes to the garage. The sons were polite and enthusiastic. They finished the job in under an hour and a half but were not rushing. They were careful and meticulous. They then asked what else they could do to fill the 3 hour time slot. I had them move some other things and assemble a new piece of furniture. They were quick and they cleaned up after themselves. They were still done before the three hours were up. I will definitely use them again but make sure my list of jobs is longer; they are super efficient.
