We had been Safetech customers for years, but stopped using our system for a period of several months while we were completed various home improvements. When it came time to re-start our system, Safetech made a cost effctive proposal and quickly restored the service with some upgraded technology at a minor cost.

The initial installation and first 3 years of the contract were great. After some negotiation back and forth (whatever alarm system you go with, be sure to get not just the 'master code' but the 'installer code', it's your right) everything was installed professionally neatly and on time. The renewal process however was not that easy. After some haggling back and forth (I like to negotiate) the billing prices were not updated from the previous contract and it tooks 7 months to get resolved and only after getting the president involved. However, once he and my original (great) salesrep became involved, the matter was resolved promptly. In the end, I do recommend SafeTech over many other alarm companies for their equipment, installation and service overall. However, at renewal time, I also recommend everyone take a real close at their credit card statements to ensure that what's agreed upon is executed.
