    Used him several times

    I have used Joe on my stove and dryer. Today was the dryer. He came and quoted me to either do the repair or replace the part. I went with the full replacement, cost was $265 as quoted. He cleaned it up and it looks and sounds like new. Always honest and does a great job.

    Dryer repair - heat coil issue

    Called Joe and he came quickly the next morning. Our dryer was running but wouldn't heat. He diagnosed the issue as the heat coil, replaced it on the spot and explained why it happened and what we need to do to maintain it. Got my first dry load today, works like a charm! Thank you.

    Charged Me Twice

    My stove needed a new part, which he picked up and installed. It still didn't work properly so he had to come back. Turned out to be a faulty part. He charged me for another visit. Why should I have to pay for another visit for a faulty part? Not fair. He should have gone after the supplier but easier to get it from the customer.

    Very Frandly

    I called Joe because my washing machine stopped working. It ended up working before he was able to come and fix it. He was extremely friendly, professional and was willing to go out of his way to help me even though he was dealing with a personal matter. Even if I can not vouch for his work I am sure based on speaking him he is trustworthy.

    Bosch dishwasher repair

    We called Joe after our Bosch dishwasher all of a sudden stopped working. Luckily enough he was able to come out right away as he was already in the area. Joe was able to diagnose the problem right away and our dishwasher was working again in less than an hour. All for a very fair price. Needless to say should we need appliance repair in the future we will not hesitate to call Joe again.

    Really Impressed

    We woke up to a fridge that wasn't working- Joe the Appliance Guy quickly arrived at our house, promptly diagnosed and fixed our problem! Very knowledgeable and courteous (even wears shoe protectors as to not mess the floors - which I really appreciated) Even my handyman husband said after he left, "Wow, I think that's the best repairman I've ever worked with". Couldn't be more impressed - thanks Joe!

    Above and Beyond Service

    Joe is that rare breed of contractor who actually seems to care about his customers appliance issues. I have used him once for an all in one washer service. What impressed me about Joe was not his ability to repair my washer on time (which he did) but his dedication to me as a client several months after the issue was resolved. He has since helped me twice with other issues and is extremely generous with his time and knowledge. Most reviews on Homestars are so high that they must not be accurate, but Joe's company actually deserves these ratings! Thanks Joe!

    Great work done

    Stove did not work at all. The cord burned out and affected the block. JOE SHOWED UP WITHIN HOURS.he acquired the parts which was not easy and completed repairs. I would definitely use Joe again Richard D

    Whirlpool Washer

    Joe is a fantastic appliance repairman. He is polite, personable and professional. My 20 year old Whirlpool washer stopped in mid-cycle and the switch mechanism to engage the lid no longer clicked into place. When I explained the problem, he knew exactly what part to replace and brought it to the service call. I was so happy that he could appreciate my desire to keep my old machine and assured me it was still an excellent model that would last me for many more years! His rates are very reasonable and his goal is customer satisfaction, even waiting for me to clean the gunky buildup around the drum and vacuum the dust bunnies under the machine. Thank you Joe! I will not hesitate to refer or call you again.

    Excellent customer service!

    Our stainless steel Kenmore (Whirlpool) bottom freezer, side by side refrigerator (6 years old) stopped working (the freezer worked not the top part). Looked for Homestar referrals in Thornhill and found Joe's name. Left him a message on Sunday and he called and came to the house Monday morning. He explained what the problem was, provided options/risks and repair costs and he replaced the circuit board. Quick response, clear communication, reasonable price (service fee is less than some others I had considered calling). Would highly recommend Joe and use him again if necessary!
