    Move across town

I had a terrible experience with two men and truck. I wouldn't recommend them. My move had to be moved (circumstances outside my control) but there was a miscommunication. They ended up forcing 4 men and a truck on me - doubling my costs. They damaged my furniture and broke other items. I had huge issues communicating with management, who were not understanding at all. I wouldn't recommend this service, no pride in their work and they certainly don't understand that they are in the service industry. Poor service, bad communication and many items were damaged or broken.

    Worst move experience!!!

At the move destination, they put a prominent 10ft scratch in a brand new floor and refused to take the blame for it. Two of the three movers were yelling back at us, very confrontational. One of them said something to my 7 year old daughter that made her cry for a half hour, she was visibly shaken and scared. They didn't deliver two leg posts of our queen bed frame (I suspect they held this back spitefully) which have the brackets attached which are necessary to put the bed together: another words we no longer have a bed. We were moving from a condo to a townhouse and at the condo we asked them to move two pieces of heavy furniture to the condo garbage area for easy disposal. But they were good functional pieces of furniture (we just didn't have room for them at the new place) and offered it to the movers - two of them laid claim to them and loaded the pieces on the truck. When the relationship soured after the scratch was found early on during unloading, they dumped these two pieces in the middle of our garage and refused to take them away. We had no easy way of getting rid of them at the townhouse. I refused to sign the visa authorization until the franchise owner (they are on Kipling), Robert, came out to confirm that they would take care of the floor. The owner agreed on the phone and promised to take care of it in a couple of days. He never came but put the charge through my visa without my authorization. He didn't return my phone calls till I got head office involved but when he came he just started arguing. He finally agreed to have a floor expert he uses fix the floor and to look for the bed posts/brackets. Nothing happened and he didn't return my calls. Finally he told me he decided to 'deny' my claim for insurance and head office is now silent also. This is the most disreputable bunch of movers I have ever used (and I've moved a lot of times). Stay away.

    moving and storage

I hired this company for storage and when i gave them the 48 hours, it took them a week to deliver back. they charged me 1600 between the move, storage and delivering my things. they were a total rip off and the people in the office were zero helpful and unempathetic as i kept calling them and they were just rude and unhelpful. I do not recomend them at all.

    Moving

Best money I've ever spent. The two men who moved us were professional and very hard working. They moved our 2 bedroom apartment down 3 flights of stairs and into our new home. They went the extra mile upon delivery, carefully making sure boxes went into the proper rooms and that large pieces of furniture went where we wanted them. Would hire them again in a heartbeat.

    Moving within Toronto

About 1 week before the scheduled move date I asked to split my move into 2 parts, and was told that the total cost would increase only slightly due to the extra travel time. The first part of the move went fine but in fact just the first part alone ended up being more expensive than the estimate for the entire job. Of course I wasn't happy with this and spoke to the sales manager Mike. Mike was understanding and we agreed to share the extra costs 50-50. Mike just had to speak to the franchise owner John to get approval. However John refused to do anything to keep my happy, even though it was their decision to send 3 guys instead of 5, which they said was the reason for the 50% price increase. I then spoke to John who blamed me entirely for the extra costs. He said I should know whether I needed 3 or 5 guys, and I should know how much furniture will fill a truck. I'm not a moving expert so there's no way I could know. John called me back the next day to say he is cancelling the second half of the move. I have never dealt with a business owner like John before. He refused to accept any responsibility for the decisions his staff made about our move, and clearly has no interest in customer satisfaction. I am very unhappy with John and the Toronto franchise of TWO MEN AND A TRUCK and would never recommend them.

    Moving from Apartment to House

The company was equipped to move my items. I didn't have much to move (only what was in my apartment), but they came and brought their tools for the furniture, and were on time arriving to my house and bringing it to my next. They charged a competitive price and I would go with them again!

    Move into Storage

From a move that was supposed to be simply from one floor in a building to another, we suddenly found ourselves in the position of having to put everything into storage at the last minute. Two Men and a Truck didn't miss a beat. They accommodated us in what had become a crisis and necessitated our changing the move 3 times. No problem. They were professional and efficient and under the most stressful of circumstances took control of the situation. Fragile items were wrapped carefully and handled appropriately. They had no problem following any specific instructions given to them and placed everything carefully into storage. We have used them before and will use them again. This is a mover you can trust.

    moving

the men who helped me move were kind, funny, careful, efficient and very, very capable. everything was packed with extreme care. The were very careful to not scratch floors when moving (even with very heavy pieces), and helped my put all the pieces back together in the new place. WIthout a doubt, they helped make a very stressful day enjoyable. would recommend to anyone!

    Two Men and a Truck

I was very disappointed with the service, as I had used this company 3 yrs ago. They were late arriving, and took much longer for the move than estimated. I ended up leaving some things in the old apartment and going back to move them myself later. The estimate I was given was no where near the final cost of the move, and when I contacted the owner, he did not see that there was any problem with this, rather it was my fault.

    moving company

Avoid this company, they arrived late and did not come with the additional boxes as requested. Most importantly the final bill for the services was 50% higher than the original quote. They did not reimburse nothing at the end for the inaccurate quote.
