We had the pleasure of working with Skylights Unlimited on two projects this year, and their work exceeded expectations both times. The first project was at a high-end downtown condo where they replaced two cracked VLX skylight dams. These were top-of-the-line skylights with integrated shades and electrical features, and the replacement was handled with the utmost professionalism. The results were flawless, and the client was thrilled with the outcome. Dennis and his team were accommodating, detail-oriented, and committed to ensuring everything was perfect. The second project was a skylight installation for a small addition, and once again, the team delivered exceptional quality. Denis and his team were very professional and got the job done well and on time. We had an old Velux skylight replaced with a new one. It looks great and the new shingles match the old one exactly.

Based on our previous bad experience with skylights, we made the mistake of not including a skylight in our new home from the builder 24 years ago. Due to the windows orientation, our staircase and hallways were always dark. We tried to brighten the area with decoration, paint and lighting but never achieved what we wanted. Several times we had considered selling our house but we really like the many other features of our house. We really needed a new skylight but my wife was concerned with the potential mess and disruption with a big retrofit. After considering for past 15 years, we finally engaged with several contractors. We wanted a large skylight over the staircase opening. Most of the contractors who we talked to did not gave us the confidence that they can handle the project to our satisfaction. Many of them advertised that they can build skylights but in reality it was not their expertise and only as their side job combined with their roofing business. Some tried to convince us to go with a smaller skylight to avoid modifying the roof trusses. Fortunately we connected with Skylights Unlimited. Denis was very responsive and sent his expert installer Ed, to scope out the work. Ed spent extensive time inside our attic just to figure out what is possible based on our roof structure and trusses. He outlined the various options but recommended a size of 7 ft. x 8 ft. and a configuration that best suited our house. He also described how he would construct the scaffolding to do the work and how to minimize the disruption and dusts. We felt assured of his extensive skylight installation expertise. The work involved were extensive. We were happy that Skylight Unlimited provided a fair price and timeline for the project. The work was completed beyond our expectations. The dusts were minimal during the construction. It is now over a month since our skylight was installed. We could not be happier. The design of the skylight looks like a masterpiece integrated perfectly with the architectural features of our staircase and 2nd floor hallway. The interior finish inside the skylight tunnel is flawless under the bright natural light. The angle of the skylight allows the maximum amount of light into the house and allows us to easily see the sky and clouds. Every morning when entering the staircase, we are greeted with this flood of natural light, just brightens the start to our day. Every time when we look out at the skylight we feel blessed to have such a skylight and how happy that we decided to work with Skylights Unlimited, Denis, Ed and their crew of courteous professionals. You guys did a wonderful job for us. We wished that we had installed the skylight 15 years ago because we missed out on 15 years of enjoyment.

When you are choosing a contractor it is often a shot in the dark. I recently had skylights replaced by two separate companies. Both companies had friendly workers and both installations work. The difference is in the quality of the professional finish versus a DYI finish. If you want the job done right at a fair price, this is the company.

Denis was very professional in his sales presentation. The installation of the skylights and blinds went on time and and was completed by two professional workers who were very careful with my property and the installation itself. I am delighted with the results.

In 2019, Skylights Unlimited had done an excellent job to replace two skylights for my parents home. Denis and his crew were very professional and had done an amazing job at that time. My parents were very impressed with their work. Fast forward, five years afterward, our skylight in our bathroom need to be replaced. Without any hesitation, we reach out to Denis for help. After the inspection of our skylights, Denis quickly pointed out the problem, and recommended solutions to mitigate the condensation and leakage problems which we have experienced in the past year. On the day of the installation, the crew came into our house to lay out the sheet underneath the skylight, which helped to minimize the mess afterward. Once again, his crew had done an amazing job to replace our skylight, and they were also very patient to explain the entire process of installation as well as answer all of our questions and concerns. Kudos to Denis and his team! You did it again! We will definitely recommend Skylights Unlimited to our families and friends who might require their service in the future.

Purchased a new skylight to replace an old one. The owner/sales and installation guys were all great. Very professional from start to finish and high quality work at a reasonable price.

When two of our 20 year old skylights started to leak after a heavy rain, we contacted four of the top rated skylight companies in Toronto to quote on replacing all three of our skylights, including solar powered remote control blinds. The quoted costs were not vastly different, but the attitudes and level of detail provided by the company representatives who came to our home were poles apart. One did not even show up, but literally phoned it in! Although Denis of Skylights Unlimited did not present the least expensive quote, he really impressed me with his professionalism, his knowledge of all the details, and his friendly attitude. After we confirmed our order with Denis, I contacted him a few times to check on the timing of the installation, especially due to the significant amount of rain we were getting. He always responded promptly and since it would take a few weeks for our skylights to arrive, he arranged for his installers to come by and temporarily place a tarpaulin over the leaking skylights to prevent water damage in case there was any heavy rain prior to the start date. The installers, Chemie and Liam were fantastic! They arrived on time, were very friendly and courteous, and worked really hard throughout the day in the blistering heat, always taking care to protect our property and avoid having anything fall through the openings while they were working. Although Denis had estimated that the project might take a day and a half, Chemie and Liam worked into the early evening in order to complete the installation the same day in order to minimize any disruption for us. The skylights look awesome and the remote control blinds are very easy to operate...Im sorry we didnt do this sooner! It is without hesitation that I highly recommend Skylights Unlimited.

Denis and his team were wonderful and incredibly professional. We bought a poorly renovated house unknowingly and Dennis and his team were able to clean up the poor work of others. His quotes were also significantly less than others and it was evident that his team were more experienced than other companies. Would highly recommend.
