Repair Skylight
Denis was responsive with the quote, contract and all paperwork. The work was explained before signing. A reasonable deposit was expected, and when there was an issue with scheduling it was communicated and rebooked in a short time frame. The workers respected my home and explained the work to be done as well; the installer took photos before and after to verify what was done. It was all done within 3.5 hours, and it looks great! Thank you

Thank you for such detailed feedback. We only ask for a 10% deposit to secure the Job, unless it's a custom skylight. I think that when a company asks for more than that, it feels risky for the customer. Mother Nature has been rather active this July and has delayed our schedule once or twice, but we believe in keeping our customers in the loop as the weather changes so that everybody can be comfortable with the process. Finally replaced that old skylight
Sought out Skylights Unlimited because of their certified Velux installers when an ancient skylight sprung a leak. Denis was a great professional to work with, appreciated his expertise and frank assessment. Our new Velux skylight and blinds are great, took the temperature in our loft down 5 degrees in the summer adding the blinds and ability to open and vent. We're very happy with this project.

Thanks for the feedback on that new opening skylight + blind. Because a opening skylight is usually at the highest point of the house, it can produce that "chimney effect". Hot air wants to rise and escape quite naturally and that allows the cool A/C air to take its place. Much more comfortable. Enjoy the cool fresh air.

Remove old skylight and install new.
Excellent work. On time and very clean. Installers were very polite and did excellent work. The owner of this company installed our original skylight in 1988.

It was such a pleasure to se a client from way back in 1988. That is the year I started the company. And, although the original skylight had a cracked dome, it was 36 years old....Good Lifespan!! I think you will enjoy the new LoE3 glass skylight from Velux. It has improved energy efficiency and will help stop the heat gain from the hot summer sun.

Skylight replacement

Quality Work and Professional Workers
Denis and his team are great! His team did was quick and thorough and went the extra mile to assist with an issue with an issue that was unrelated to their work. Would highly recommend!

2 Skylights brighten my day
I'm so happy when I see the brightness in my family room even on cloudy days, it makes a big difference. The workmanship and preciseness of the labour is so evident that all my friends & family notice right away. Skylights Unlimited were so careful to ensure minimal disruption, very detailed and always tidy. A pleasure to have working in my home anytime.

Always use specialists when the risk of not doing so is high eg. when cutting holes in your roof
We had two skylights installed during a large reno about 15 years ago. For some time we've had condensation issues with both, so thought they were probably builder grade (we were on a very tight budget) and likely needed replacement. Denis came out for a look and to our surprise, the originals were actually quality Vulex skylights, but entry level, and still had some life left in them. We decided to replace them anyway, given our condensation challenges. We received a surprisingly reasonable quote and the team was ready to go in just a couple of weeks. When Chime and Liam started to remove the original skylights it became clear they'd been improperly installed, and this was the source of our problem. The guys had the old ones out, and the new top tier Velux skylights in, along with a solar blind, in half a day. They were friendly, fastidious and skilled. General contractors do a lot of good things, but when it comes to sensitive things like cutting big holes in your roof, I cannot emphasize enough the importance of going with a specialist who does only this for a living. We highly recommend Skylights Unlimited and have zero hesitation recommending them to our friends and family. Great job guys!

Thanks for such detailed feedback. Although the original skylights were Velux ( which are the best ) they were not well sealed against air infiltration. That can cause condensation in the winter. So, with the new triple pane LoE3 glass units you will have much better comfort inside and no more condensation. Enjoy the sunshine!

Skylight installation in place of cracked one
Thank you, Denis and your team for excellent job being done in less then 2 hours with good advise from your guys and spotless house after the job was done
