    Attic vent & insulation installation

    The only reason I did not rate 10/10 is because the afternoon before my scheduled installation, their truck broke down and we had to rebook it for another day. As a result I lost half a day of pay for the time off work I took. Of course, its entirely understandable why it happened, but I would have expected a confirmation of the second booking prior to them arriving. Luckily I called in the morning of and the crew was already on their way. Turns out they did an excellent job on the attic insulation, from what I can tell so far. Brian in particular was great, very respectful guy and was able to answer any questions I had. They did the job fast, and didn't leave much of a mess afterwards to clean up. All I had to do was vacuum one room for 2 minutes and the rest was taken care of. Good job, good workers, flexible with times but would be nice for them to send an appointment confirmation email,call, or text beforehand.

    Basement spray foam, attic insulatation

    Got a reasonably priced quote. Got an appointment within 2 weeks. The job was completed as described. However, there were some inconsistencies between what the sales rep said they could do and what they actually did. I was able to rectify the problem but just make sure you have everything said by the rep in writing. The spray foam guys accidentally sprayed my entrance door with fire coat. I have been reassured that it will be taken care of. Overall, the service was okay. Gets the job done. I find that some team have more in-depth knowledge about their services than some.

    Upgrade Insulation

    Great Northern Insulation was hired by our condo corporation to upgrade our insulation. The crew showed up on time. They completed their work in a timely manner and then cleaned up after the work was done. We had also used the several years ago at our cottage. The same comments would apply to our experience with them back in 2007. I recommend GNI.

    Attic insulation top up

    Job well done . Henry and Mark did an excellent job and cleaned up. Henry pointed out I had some electrical issues to tidy up before they could insulate. Thankfully they were trained to spot potential problems and point them out. They insulated shop but had to reschedule the house. Henry commented GNI was a great company to work for. That in itself says a lot about the company.

    Project Attic Insulation

    Needed the garage attic insulated, called the company our builder used and they responded and completed the job with ease. Everything was quoted ahead of time and easily emailed and confirmed in a timely manner. The workers on site were on time and things were clean afterwards. My dogs are a good judge of people and they had no problem with Sean, Walter and Crajo(?) being in our house. If needed, we will use them again.

    Attic insulation top up

    Staff was here on time, clean and ready to get started. They offered a clear explanation of what was needed to be done. They were very tidy and left the area very clean.

    Just my kitchen

    I was remodeling my kitchen and wanted it insulated properly. I phoned a few spray foam places in my area, but fortunately decided on Great Northern Insulation. The staff, from the original phone call to the work performed was amazing. They fit my small job in on time and did a great job. I can't say enough about this insulation and the people that work for Great Northern Insulation, but I will say THANK YOU

    Insulation, spray and blown in

    GNI did exactly what they said they would do and the work was done professionally by competent staff. They were also very clean. Now, our 1910 home is as well insulated as it possibly and reasonably can be. It feels more comfortable. We did have a before and after energy audit done that demonstrated that the work was effective. It's not just about cost saving, it's also about limiting energy consumption.

    Attic Insulation

    After receiving a recommendation from an energy auditor, I contracted for Great Northern Insulation to come to my home to upgrade my attic insulation to R60. We agreed on a date and time and the installation crew arrived as agreed. They spent approximately 1 1/2 hours from start to finish and when the work was done they cleaned up the work site. The crew was courteous and helpful to answer questions.

    Install additional attic insulation

    The estimator Matt was friendly and informative. I had another quote done but this was a better price and included baffelling and insulating the attic hatch. The installers were a bit later arriving than the scheduler has said but it wasn't a big deal as I work from home anyway. Phil and Bill did a great job and didn't leave a mess to deal with. Thanks for the great service!
