    Basement Spray Foam

    Dave and Kyle recently completed the spray foam of my full basement in the St. Catharines' area. The installation started as scheduled and took about 4 hours. Kyle was very receptive to my list of potential issues and ensured before departing that they were addressed to my satisfaction. The team minimized any over-spray and the basement was left clean. The work was performed efficiently. I also acknowledge the pre-installation visit by Eric (production supervisor). Eric was instrumental in arranging the spraying of rim joists prior to the full basement install. Without Eric's early intervention, the final result would have been less than optimal since accessing the rim joists once the stud walls were fastened in place would have been very difficult. I am very thankful for this.

    Living room insulation

    Great experience and extremely happy with the service. From the initial conversation to the installation, everyone we dealt with was professional and friendly. The guys explained everything they were going to do, including how to deal with a couple of tight spot. The room feels warmer already. Thanks

    Insulation Work

    Just had the lower overhang of our house insulated. The crew showed up on time and did an excellent job. Our floors are much warmer now! We would definitely recommend using this company.

    attic insulation

    Highly recommend this company! They were very quick and did a great job. They were very friendly and cleaned up after themselves. They were also very quiet, my 4 month old slept through it all! Definitely recommend them, did a wonderful job!

    Attic Insulation - They did a great job!

    We had our attic insulated from R30 to R60. Phil and Billy did an awesome job! They were punctual, friendly and efficient. They explained the process. They also made sure that everything was cleaned up after. I would definitely recommend their service. Janet McLean

    Removal of old insulation, put in new insulation and vents

    I was selling my Mom's house and got a rude surprise during the home inspection that the attic was full of mould. The whole roof and insulation had been supposedly redone just three years ago. It turns out that the prior roofing company did not remove the old insulation, did not install any vents/baffles, did not install vapour barrier, and blew in the new insulation unevenly. I had less than three weeks to resolve the problem. From my first contact with Great Northern Insulation they were amazing. Mike was very helpful and advised they would do whatever they could to meet my tight timelines. They even spoke with the company that I had obtained to do the mould remediation to co-ordinate all the work. The three guys (Scott, Tim, Kenny) that came to remove the old insulation were fantastic. They were on time, professional, friendly, and did a great job. Not only did they remove all of the insulation that was blown in three years before they took out 17 large industrial size garbage bags packed full of the old insulation that the prior roofing company was supposed to have removed. They were a fantastic crew! I then had the mould remediation company come in to do their work. Great Northern adjusted their scheduling to get a crew back to my Mom's house the day after the mould remediation was done to blow back in the new insulation and vent the attic properly. These two guys (John and Conner) were fantastic as well - friendly, professional, thorough and neat. Because Great Northern was so helpful and accommodating I was able to get all the work done at my Mom's house done within a very short time so that I did not lose the sale of her house. Thanks to everyone I dealt with at Great Northern Insulation. An awesome company!!

    New built .

    I was very happy with the salesman (Mike) and also the two installers that came to do the job. It had rained the last couple of days so the truck could have gotten stuck in the driveway that was soft. (being a new built it was muddy). I asked the installers to park on the road, but apparently their other company was doing a bigger commercial job and the other installers took half of their houses, so they could not reach. Has I was doing my best to come up with a sulotion for them to start the job (moving equipment or construction fenced ,,, thier supervisor called me freaking out that he could not have them their waiting because time was money . For that reason Mr. supervisor you guys will no longer do work for us. Next time make sure your workers are equipped with the proper tools, and especially don't take their hoses away .

    Garage

    I was very satisfied with the way my project had to get sqeezed in to the work schedule due to time of year and weather circumstances, and the office kindly arranged it. The work crew were very efficient, friendly and neat. Site clean up was superb . The job quality is of course great. Highly recommend this product and company. Both my house and garage build were insulated this way. Heating efficiency is wonderful!

    Spray foam insulation of basement

    The specialists who came in seemed very experienced and professional. They came on time (actually a bit early). In that respect, we were a bit surprised at how early they came as we hadn't gotten a clear statement as to their time of arrival. That was probably the only negative. However, as the autumn arrives we can tell how much warmer our basement is, even though we still have a bare concrete floor there. The difference is remarkable.

    Foam Repair

    We had Great Northern in to repair a job that was done by another copy which was done incorrectly. We were provided a quote for the repair and our invoice was for less as the repair turned out not to be as extensive as they thought. I can't tell you the last time my invoice was less than a quote. Very Happy!
