    Not effective on recent build; unclear percent change

    Crew was prompt and courteous. Haphazard identification of air inflow, although I pointed out some concerns following an infrared study I had done. Had to complete insulation myself, even tho' concerns were pointed out and access was easy. Quoted airflow readings differed from their device display. Final airflow percent reduction was calculated incorrectly. Remember that windows, doors, panels, fireplaces and aircon / HRV may all affect starting and ending airflow measurements, and hence what you pay.

    Attic Insulation upgrade

    We added insulation to our attic, we heard good reports about GNI so decided to try them out, we were not disappointed. The work was very professional and Jeremy and James were awesome. They left everything clean and tidy. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an insulation company.

    Added R30 to ceilings in house & garage.

    Added R30 to the house attic to raise it to R60 & put R30 in the garage. Chris & Sean were efficient, polite & very informative. Helped me look in the attic afterwards.

    Insulation Improvement

    As part of a reno, I paid to have some required insulation upgrades done. It was to be inspected with a follow up energy audit to allow a rebate. The work was not done suitably to meet the audit requirements. Had there not been an audit completed, I would have no idea that the work was done poorly. Also, a mess was left upstairs and in the garage. Disappointing as a consumer because I'm not auditing the quality of an insulation job. Apparently I should, because in the one and only case I've used GNI they have failed. They came to fix the problem with another crew and a supervisor to ensure it was done correctly. I work out of town, so I've had to adjust my schedule for a return visit by GNI and by the Energy audit group. GNI could only guarantee they'd be there between 1-3pm?? After they screwed up. In my mind GNI failed big time overall.

    Insulation my new house

    Great service knowledgeable staff guys Chris and Sean came very polite and excellent help got in fast out fast. They also took the time to make sure that there was no mess and cleaned up awesome service. Thanks again to great northern insulation and Chris and Sean. I would definitely use them again.

    What a First Class Organization!

    After getting 3 other quotes, I met Matt from GNI. Matt was the first person that talked about what's involved from start to finish (from covering everything to leaving everything else as you found it). I was hopeful that his quote would be comparable, because I knew this was the company I wanted to proceed with. The people in scheduling were just as professional. Every call and every communication timed well. When we had to change the date...there was absolutely no problem. The crew that came were fantastic. I felt like they would do the job that we hoped would be done, protecting the exposed beams with cardboard. GREAT JOB ALL AROUND! Kudos to the management at GNI for creating a culture that creates such a well rounded team and processes!

    Trailer rebuild for book store

    We bought an old office trailer to start a book store, ee gutted it and were looking gor solutions to insulate it to protect our books. We contacted Lowe's for the job and Great Northern Insulation was sent out to quote the job. The team was awesome, we had to postpone the job a few times as we were rebuilding the sub-subfloor and ran into trouble. Kim in the office was great, answered questions and emails promptly and never gave me a hard time. Tidsy the job was done. The team arrived on time and did a great job, thanks for making this this such a stress free solution for our needs!

    Crawl Space and Attic Insulation

    Ahmad, Kelly, Marilyn, Mike, Adam, Shawn and his co-worker, thank you! Prompt, professional, polite, respectful, very clean and tidy. Great job on the insulation of our crawl space and attic. Excellent customer service from start to finish. We are extremely pleased and happy!

    Insulation Attic

    Installers were right on time, careful to explain the job and were very good at keeping things clean. The job took a little under two hours and they cleaned up very well when done. Job well done!

    Drill and fill insulation & basement insulation

    They sent a guy early on to assess and be prepared. Then the guys came the day of, on time. They Did great work. They were friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. When they couldn’t finish in the time allotted they came the next day (Saturday) to finish.
