    Extremely Poor Clean-up

    I had a terrible experience with Great Northern. They had to be watched like a hawk, numerous areas that I was told were completed needed touch-up for example. When I say touch-up, some of these areas weren’t touched to begin with. When they were done they left a substantial mess. Hundreds upon hundreds of staples left in the window frames, some windows were left with the poly-tarps still left on and the workers were gone. They left here so fast they forgot the broom and dust pan that they never used here whatsoever in the clean-up. Make sure they don’t sweep the over-spray bits into the sump pit and cause your sump pump to not operate. And then when all this was pointed out to Great Northern Operations they were very dismissive. I spent many hours, even days removing staples. I have better things to do with my time.

    Attic Insulation

    I found GNI through HomeStars and after reading the positive reviews decided to go ahead and call them. Mark came out and gave us a quote. His professionalism and advice along with a detailed breakdown of what work was required reassured us that GNI was the right company for the job. The guys that came out to do the job were fantastic. It was January 5th and the weather was -20 outside. But these fellas were professional, they did a great job. They even cleaned up afterwards. We are so satisfied with the company and the entire experience from beginning to end that we would certainly recommend them to friends and family. Thank you.

    Quality Service

    I emailed GNI to provide a quote to top up my attic insulation (cellulose). Mike showed up on time, provided a proper written quote and answered the questions I had. Scheduling a date was easy after approving the quote and a small deposit. Installation was on time. The 3 gentlemen that did the install were polite, did a neat job and cleaned up as they left. I inspected the work and they answered my questions. This is my second time using GNI and I would use them again.

    Attic Insulation Blow In

    I must say I was happy with the service from start to finish. The two guys that came to do the work were friendly and professional while working in my home. They completed the job in a few hours, cleaned up and were off to the next job. I would highly recommend GNI to anyone looking to have their Insulation upgraded.

    Garage

    The crew was on time...worked very hard and they were very clean and considerate. I would use GNI again. I have used them several times now. No problems! Keep up the good work GNI.

    insultion -spray and blown

    Both teams of installers (blown & spray) were on-time, friendly and very efficient. They took the time to explain the process and to cover the work site. The clean-up was like they had never been there - well done!

    Attic insulation

    Great Northern Insulation was great to work with from receiving my in home quote to the day of installation when the two installers, Tom and John arrived put in the effort to use cardboard for the corners of my walls and laying down plastic over furniture and flooring as not to cause damage. They explained the product and cleaned up the job as it was prior to their arrival. Great work.

    Master Bedroom/Bathroom Reno

    In this very busy area construction-wise where it is difficult to even get trades to respond to a phone call regarding new work, GNI was very fast to 1) do a site visit and provide a quote and 2) fit us in to their schedule. Very happy with the work done and polite and pleasant workers.

    insulation in attic

    Two workers came to my home Tom and Brian from the Barrie branch. They were very considerate with protecting my flooring and furniture from any mishaps.I would happily recommend this company and these two guys to anyone.

    attic insulation

    Ice dam over front door,very dangerous for people coming to our front door. Hopefully adding this insulation will solve our problem. The job was done efficiently and the crew was very pleasant.
