    Garage Walls & Ceiling

    Overall good, the installing crew was behind schedule that day and I had to call to figure out how far behind, but once they arrived they were faster than the estimate. They very much had the mindset they were there to work, and little things were not an issue. Still waiting to figure out the full expect of the change of the insulation though. Alana the sales rep was fine to work with.The installers a bit of a mess, they didn't know what all they were walking into based on the quote information provided to them. The installers were professional and knowledgeable The cleanup was done well, there was very minimal (if any) side spray to deal with. They gave us a few options on a couple of the spots. Still waiting a bit to see the full effect, but so far yes the install was done quickly and cleanly (once they arrived), and the cost was not outrageous.

    Main/ 2nd Floor Spray Foam

    My experience with Great Northern Insulation was enjoyable from start to finish. The sales rep was on time and very informative. The team quickly provided a quote, received my deposit and set-up an install date that worked with our tight schedule. We had our home spray foamed in areas where we were renovating and the install team did a great job. The worksite was left clean and the work was completed on time as requested. Overall it was a great experience and we plan on using Great Northern Insulation again for our future renovation. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

    Basement Spray Insulation

    I had my basement outside wall headers sprayed approximately 4 years ago. Besides the headers the crew sprayed over all pipes and conduits in the way and completely sprayed over waterlines that the basement heat kept them from freezing. Other arrangements are made every year to prevent the pipes from freezing because they were sprayed over preventing the basement heat to keep them from freezing. If these water lines someday need repairs, all the area with sprayed on insulation will have to be removed to fix or modify pipes. Tools that were hanging on the wall was sprayed over and sealed in place. To remove it, the spayed insulation will be damaged. I talked to the Perry Sound office and they sent me to deal with the Peterborough Rep. They said they would come to check the deficiencies. They never came. 4 years later I get angry every time I have to work in my basement. I will never recommend your company to anyone.

    Attic

    I have never had such "good service"!! Matt (sales), then Joel & Adrien, now Ryan(installers)…professional, knowledgeable…even your phone service is great..I spoke to a “live person” (sorry, didn’t ask her name)..who already had Ryan sent. WOW!! 10+ stars, for a 5 star rate… I can not say enough good…It is was so nice to deal with you…I would only refer you, & I do. Thank you,

    Spray Foam Garage and Duct Work

    The Process was very smooth. The guys showed up right at 7:30, and immediately began checking things out, and getting to work. Matt was great, he was able to fit my schedule for an initial meeting, and provide a clear out line of the work to be done, and the cost of the work. I am very satisfied with my over all experience, and will get GNI back for more work in the future.

    Main Floor & second floor walls and slopes

    I have to say that I am very pleased with all aspects of the job your company performed. From the initial consultation with Pete, who was very helpful in explaining the product as well as supplying the quotation in a detailed and timely manner, to the scheduling and execution of the work. The installers were professional and tidy, and their efforts to keep the adjacent surfaces to their work area protected was greatly appreciated. This entire project is being videotaped, and I will provide you with the link to the episode in which your company was involved. Thanks to everyone for a job well done.

    Spray Foam Basement Walls

    Mostly my experience was quite good Bill was very pleasant and informative Installers were very good and cleaned up after themselves I only have one concern I asked them to only lightly spray behind the dryer vent coming down the wall however the sprayed over it , burying it into the corner and now I cannot attach the other end that goes to the dryer as the wiring is right below there. I am waiting for my framer to come in to see if he can fix the problem as I have been away last week he has not been able to get in

    Attic Top Up (2 big attics split level)

    Well I guess we booked in late November early December, which is, your busy season.. If we waited until January, we would receive a $50.00 Home depot gift certificate.. No big deal..we waited. There was an issue when the crew first got here on a Friday afternoon close to 4 pm. " Too much Raccoon feces" They did not want to do it. However Matt sorted things out, the crew came back and did a great job..One of the same guys from the first visit was here the second time. Apologized for bailing on us last time, and did a GREAT JOB!! Kudos to you folks very good price and a very good Job!!! Recommend you to anyone!!

    Lower Attic & Upper Attic top up

    We were extremely pleased with the professional manner , work ethic of your team. Jeff explained how we needed to prepare for the installation and how inadequate are current installation was and how much more energy efficient are home would be. The day of the installation went very smooth , the team were very pleasant , explained how they would access the two attic entrances. We notice even the following day , how much warmer, comfortable the house was. We would recommend your services to others. Looking forward to receiving our reduced heating bill.

    Insulation/Racoon attack

    Racoons, Trashed my attic..no/minimal.. insulation left, & more. After animal-proofing/caging my house...called Great Northern..help please?. It is cold in here.(happened in the fall). Matt came & gave me an estimate of cost of damage, Joel & Adrienne came & fixed it. Joel also, checked "absolutely" everything..(I didn't know to check...I appreciate that...I don't know what's up there. Now I do!!) A great team, these 3 were. I would highly/"only", recommend them. I was given estimates, from "friends...what they paid"..who had the same issue (not the dealers/fixers). Their (Great North) price range is in the "ball court"..& .. actually, better..they did the job...so cheaper in the long run. Thank you Matt, Joel & Adrienne. Lynda
