    Trico homes review

    Trico is a first class company that provided me with superior customer service and a great sales experience. From the beginning of the process all the way to the end all their staff was very helpful. Thanks for making the entire process so easy and enjoyable.

    Second Time Homebuyer

    This is my second time purchasing a new home from Trico. I went back to them not only for the well designed homes, but the excellent service I always get. Erin J is the most amazing person! She will do anything for you and make you feel like your the most valued customer. My home was on schedule, early actually, they worked around the current state of my home for sale and negotiated fair pricing. Not to mention the awesome upgrades that came with the home. Consider myself a life long Trico customer :) Thanks for everything!! Ashley Robinson

    Viridian Condo

    This is the first time we have build with Trico. They had great floorplans and options. They were great to deal with to resolve any issues. Anytime we needed answers Trico team was prompt to reply.

    Viridian Condo

    This was my first condo buying experience and I couldn't be happier with the customer service from Trico. From sales to walk through everything was great. Any questions I had was always answered promptly. Any issues with my condo were resolved quickly as well. I would definitely recommend Trico for any home buyers out there.

    Viridian Condos

    I had such an amazing experience with Trico, from just visiting the sales center to my walk through on possession day. The staff are all so incredibly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and made buying my first condo a very smooth and seamless process from start to finish! I would also like to add that on the day of my walk through, absolutely everything looked great and there were only some very minor paint touchups needed that were done within minutes of me finding them. I would definitely recommend Trico to anyone who is researching builders out there for their own home. Thanks so much Trico!!

    New Build in Nolan Hill

    The whole experience with Trico was great! Communication was good, we usually get a response back within a timely manner. The people who work there were always friendly and easy to work with. We have been living in the house for about 3 months and haven't had much issues except when we first moved in we had a plumbing issue in our ensuite but it was resolved quickly by Trico and the trades. We really love Jake as he was very thorough and provided great home ownership tips when we went through our pre and possession day. Overall the house was built on schedule, quality is good, and the team was great!

    New Home Build

    We have recently moved into our new home and couldn't be happier! It has been so refreshing to work with a builder who is more concerned about their workmanship and attention to detail as compared with so many other builders that are just concerned about pumping out new homes and cutting corners. Working with Kelsey (Area Sales Manager) and Ryan (Superintendent) has truly been a pleasure. They were both quick to act regarding any concern I had during the entire building process. What really impressed me was on possession day when Ryan along with other Trico employees were going around our house marking off any nicks or scrapes or blemishes both inside and outside the house that were then fixed immediately by their painter. Mind you there were very few but regardless I was impressed with their willingness to point out things that I even missed so that when we moved into the house it truly was complete and we could just focus on settling into our new home. I would definitely recommend Trico, in particular the crew in Cochrane who made buying a new house a really great and stress free experience.

    New build in Legacy

    We've been in our house for almost a year, with several issues still unresolved. Our biggest complaint is the drywall and paint job in the house. We have been complaining since we moved in last October. The drywall seams are noticeable throughout the house, and the paint job looks like grade 2 students were in charge. The paint does not go to the baseboards, leaving a nice gap, there are sections of walls throughout the house with paint so light you can see the drywall. The most recent paint issue was the paint that flaked of in a strip about 2 inches from the transom window above a door. To which they said this was normal, because of humidity. One look and you can tell they did not prime the wood before painting. Also, the last time (2nd time) they fixed the drywall, the painter did not prime the new mudded area, so the paint did not adhere properly. I am embarrassed by my house, we have not had friends over in the last 11 months because I am embarrassed that we paid so much for this house. Another issue is the Kitchen tap that was place in our bar sink. When questioned, it took at least six months for the blame to be put on us, that it was the tap we picked. It was not, we were told to upgrade from the standard bar tap, and the tap installed was the one recommended. At no time were we told it was a kitchen tap during the build process, and we would not know it was based on the item number that shows ups on our upgrade list. Last I heard, when I called and was ticked right off, was that we would be refunded our upgrade amount or we could further upgrade the tap. (Still waiting for the refund). Really wish we would have checked out reviews previous to our build. We had a friend come over shortly after we moved in and he was amazed at the crappy paint job. He renovates homes and agreed that is was sub - par paint job, that should be completely redone. Almost at the point I am going to just paint the entire house myself. Oh, almost forgot, last winter we had our pipes freeze in basement, because it was not plumbed properly. If your trades cannot do the job properly, it's time to get new ones working for you.

    New build in Cochrane

    This was our first time building a home and thanks to the amazing people at Trico , the whole process was amazing. From our first meeting with Kelsey and Suzie at the show home to the walk through appointments with Ryan K and Tim to the design centre meetings with Sarah, we really couldn't have asked for more. They were all amazing to deal with even when we were a little difficult. Any time we had a concern Kelsey, Ryan and Tim would jump into action to make sure we had answers and took action when needed. We love our new home and would recommend Trico to everyone! Thank you to everyone at Trico that helps us with our build!

    cochrane build

    Our experience with Trico Homes has been nothing but smooth! we are now settled into our forever home, and thanks to Erin and Jaimie from the Cochrane showhome, the tiny hiccups we ran into were nothing more than bumps. From deciding on a lot, to picking the model that worked best for our family, design center picks and completion, this experience was the polar opposite of when my parents built (with another company) in 1997. I looked forward to the weekly emails from the girls about the progress that was being made, and loved the pictures they were able to include. This is our forever home, and felt that way from day 1. Thank you Trico and contractors for building our beautiful home!
