    Moving, disassembling and assembling

    We called Arby and he came to do an estimate, he was very professional and gave a us a fair price, we decided to hire him. The day of the move Anil and his crew came 30 minutes earlier, we already liked that. They started their job. They took boxes and small items first, always making sure nothing would be broken, not only our stuff but also the house. They were very careful but super fast. We told Arby we were going to disassemble the big furniture ourselves to make things faster the day of the move but we have small children so we couldn't do it. We had a big armoire and a treadmill we couldn't disassemble but Anil told us not to worry and did it himself. When we got to the new house, same thing, fast and carefully they took in the boxes and big furniture. They assembled everything very fast and again, with lots of care but there were new furniture we bought in IKEA and couldn't assemble it before they got here (including a bunker bed and a TV table) Anil assembled everything while the rest of the crew placed the boxes and other furniture in place. Here's were they did the outstanding job, assembling the bunker bed was not easy job, it had so many screws and pieces of wood! It would have taken us days to assemble it ourselves, Anil did it in only an hour. The treadmill was also assembled in no time. I already sent them a personalized email to thank Arby and Anil but I'll do it again, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE GREAT JOB! I would definitely recommend you to my friends and I'll keep your info for future moves. All the best!

    Moving

    I had a nasty experience on my last move, and so was particularly sensitive this time around. I was pleasantly surprised. The guys at Arby were efficient yet careful and demonstrated a great attitude. They handled our contents with care and behaved like professionals. The moving industry is(unfortunately) filled with shady outfits looking to screw people. Arby's is not one of them. I'd recommend them highly and will use them again.

    Full moving services

    Compared to our last move, this was a fantastic experience. Anil came over to our place to give us an in-person quote, which was a nice touch compared to all the other movers. We were moving twice in two weeks, Apt->Storage and Storage->Apt. The first move went very smoothly, we were completely moved out of our Apt (with 2 flights of stairs) and into the storage locker in 2 hours flat. We then spent another 45 minutes trying to get rid of an Armoire, but that was during the garbage strike. Anil took the armoire to a private dump and was cool about that. The second move also went very well. The guy for the elevator did not turn up on time, so Anil and his team started to move things in the front entrance to make the best of a bad situation. That move was done in about 3 hours, much to my surprise. These guys are just so fast! All in all, both times I found Anil and his movers (Anil + 2 guys) were great. They were a few minutes early for both moves and called before they arrived. They were friendly, pleasant, very fast and organised, took good care of our furniture, and listened to instructions about certain things we wanted in certain places. I will definitely call Arby Cartage again next time I move as it made for two stress-free moving days. This is how a business should be operated. Highly recommended!

    Moving services

    We booked a last minute move with Anil and he was very accommodating to us. Their prices were definitely the most reasonable of all the "good" companies (high reviews). On move day, they actually came early and called us to see if that would be ok. What a good start! They had a 3rd guy with them that day, and they charged us a bit more per hour, but it worked out to be cheaper! Anil started with a walk-through to figure out what order to move everything in. There was very slight damage when they moved our piano, but Anil fixed it right away and even offered to have someone come in to fix it if he couldn't!! Seriously great service!! I also could not believe how quick they were, they didn't waste any time, both in loading and unloading. Our stuff arrived in perfect condition, and they assembled our furniture where we wanted it. Overall, they were friendly, efficient and honest - I'm so glad they could fit us in and I will definitely recommend them to anyone I can!!! Thanks Anil and team!

    Moving

    After hearing so many horror stories about moving companies in general, I was nervous using one! Arby took away all that fear. They were professional, courteous and hard working. Anil was a pleasure to deal with and was calm, patient, polite and flexible throughout our planning and our moving day. We’d use Arby again without hesitation. Thanks Anil and the guys for giving us such a positive experience!

    Moving into new home

    Anil and his team helped make moving day hassle and stress free. They came very well prepared and was very knowledgeable in how to care for my furniture. Anil and his helpers were very friendly and was able to get the job done faster than expected!! Also, they prices are AWESOME!!! They are a VERY reliable bunch and I thank them very much for making my moving day such a wonderful and easy experience!!! It's great to find such a great team that was able move me so fast and at a great cost!! Thank you!!

    Move

    We undertook a big move (OK so we have too much stuff) and Arby's was awesome. They were very professional, very friendly and worked their tales off moving all my stuff. I was very tired, but happy when the job was finally complete. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!

    2 apartment move

    I called Arby and got a quote on a move for my one bedroom apartment, but then at the last minute i had to add an extra stop, the guys were great. They were an hour or so late but the called in advance to let me know. It was the first positive experience I've had Thanks for the help guys!

    Moving

    After a previously bad moving expereince with another company, I came across Arby Cartage on homestars.com. I called them and that very evening, Anil from Arby Cartage came to our home to give us a quote. We were moving from a home to a temporary apartment so we were putting things in storage and at our parents' home. Anil and his helper made three stops for us on one day. They were quick, courteous, professional, accomodating and very careful with all our items. They wrapped fragile items, covered our sofas and beds and did an incredible job at making sure we were satisfied. We also rented some wardrobe boxes from them and Anil made a special trip to drop them off so that we can start packing before our big move. We will be moving again very shortly and I will definitely use them again...not to mention, I would reccomend them to anyone needing a reliable, professional and reasonable mover. Thanks again Anil!

    Moving one bedroom

    Arby cartage was accommodating and trustworthy. At the last minute I was able to add an extra stop to drop some furniture off to. They were 2 hours late but they called me in advance to let me know and they provided an extra worker to catch up on the lost time.
