We used Arby's Cartage not only because of the reviews on HomeStars but also because they came recommended from a friend. They're pricing is by far the best I've seen and I shopped around. We had two pick up locations. One in Etobicoke (our residence) and a pick up in Scarborough where we had some furniture stored. We were then moving to York. They were fast and very friendly. Having movers made the move so much easier and stress free. I've recommend Arby's to other friends and they too agree it was worth every penny. We had 3 people move us. The owner of the company and 2 employees. We were so impressed with the fast and friendly service that we tipped the employees for their great work. They earned it.

I chose these guys based on the reviews here on Homestars. After hiring Arby and experiencing them first hand I can proudy say I'm another one to add to their praises. These guys are very punctual and polite. We hired a team of 4 men and 2 trucks. They worked quickly and efficiently, utilizing the most out of their manpower. In addition, they were accomodating and didn't complain or object when we asked them to move some items from our backyard garden. They also took great care not to damage anything. Many Thanks for making our stressful move a little easier!

I've always been used to asking my friends to come and help me move but I decided not to this time around. Instead, I hired Arby Cartage. I was moving from a condo to a detached home so I figured why stress? Arby and his team arrived on time. They were very efficient and careful with my furniture. They took the time to carefully wrap fragile items and even disassemble difficult to move furniture. I would definitely use these again!

Very impressed with their customer service. I has asked my friends and family members in the past to help me moving. Plenty of broken and damaged items... Couldn't blame them as everybody was sparing their busy schedule to help me. I was quite stressed from the past negative experiences and I had a lot of stuff to protect. Overall everything went seamlessly fine. Very happy with the result, would definitely used them again.

These guys are great. Perfectly on time, careful with my stuff, speedy and hard-working - they were amazing. I was going through a break up and moved approximately a 1 bedroom apartment's worth of stuff out of a 3 bedroom townhouse, and the process was seamless. I mean - seamless. The townhouse complex was a real pain in the butt too because we were on the upper level and you have to carry all the furniture about about 300 feet before you could get to the ramp to get it downstairs to the truck. But they did it so quickly and so easily! The whole process was done in about 5 hours, and I moved from Mississauga to downtown Toronto, so that gives you an idea of how good they are. And the price was great - although i moved on the 9th and in January so that made the rates a bit lower than usual. So - just hire them already - they're fantastic.

These guys were awesome! They showed up exactly on time and had our 3-bedroom home packed up unbelievably fast. Then they brought everything to our new home and unloaded just as quickly and carefully. Everyone was courteous and helpful. And we were thrilled with the price. Compared with other companies we had researched, this was a great price.

This company was so good it was almost hard to believe, but they were. In an industry full of horror stories, Arby (the owner) and his son Anil delivered a completely professional service at a completely competitive price. On the day of, their crew was made up of 4 of the nicest, most helpful guys you could ask for. They went way over and above and believe me, we were not very well packed, not a single complaint or comment. The most astonishing thing is how quickly they completed the job, just over 5 hours for my full house packed, moved (30 minutes) and unpacked. I couldn't give this company a more glowing recommendation. They were fantastic!

The service was good: they came on time, friendly, professional, were able to move large furniture through small spaces. Overall, I am satisfied with almost stress-free moving. BUT I overestimated the time needed and since everything was packed and my husband was doing moving with them as well, everything was done in 2.5 hours. The minimum charge is for 4.5 hours with $105 rate plus tax. I believe during remaining time they could at least offer to separate boxes by rooms and move large objects in place. But no, they just collected money and tips and left. 6 weeks after moving I have not received a receipt yet, even though I e-mailed them asking for it.

Simply the best! Very careful and patient. They managed to move a large sofa bed through a very narrow hallway without touching the walls. All furniture peaces and boxes were moved without any damages. They handled all items with extreme care. I will definitely use them again for my future moves!

Setting up my one bedroom move from Mississauga to uptown Toronto was very easy with Arby Cartage. I simply made the call, picked the date, and on the day of they showed up right on time with a very large truck and two men. I had mentioned to them that I need some furniture disassembled and then reassembled at the new place - they did this with no hesitation and there was no extra charge for that. The only extra cost I incurred was $6 for a queen sized mattress cover - small cost to protect a very expensive mattress! The initial quote was for four hours but they were able to complete the job in about three and that's exactly what I paid for. Overall I am very satisfied with Arby's level of service, price, and professionalism and will most definitely consider them if I ever move again. Highly recommend!
