Last time we hired movers, our possessions were held for ransom and we never got our money back. It was a nightmare we never wanted to repeat. So this time we knew we had to research the company first. My wife chose Arby because of the home stars reviews and we were extremely happy with our choice. The contract was very clear and straight forward, the communication beforehand was also clear and informative. Two wonderfully kind gentlemen showed up on time, answered all of our questions and got right to work. They were fantastic workers, handled our furniture with care and truly made the stress of moving disappear. It actually felt stress free! The amazing price was an incredible bonus. Arby Cartage surpassed our expectations, and we would hire them again without hesitation. Seriously look no further than Arby Cartage.

Our family always uses Arby Cartage. We first heard about them through my sister-in-law who is a fire fighter. She has great connections in the service industry and had to move many times. When she recommended them, we knew it was going to be good. Our first and second moves with Arby were fantastic. What we love about them: friendly, family guys, punctual, polite, careful, proactive (extra padding and wrapping), organized, well-priced. Our second move was to store our furniture in my parents' basement while we travelled around the world. They organized the furniture perfectly in the basement, it was a marvel to behold!, and put all the boxes on the outside just in case we needed to access something. Smart. I wish we could think of something to criticize them on so that you would believe this review. Ok, here's one, they were supposed to be there at 9 a.m. and came at 9:02 a.m., and phoned to say they would be 2 minutes late, is that good enough?!?!?!? Seriously, go with these guys. They're awesome.

I had a small move to do from Etobicoke to High Park in Toronto. I contacted Arby Cartage and other companies but I choose Arby Cartage becasue I had a phone conversation with Arby himself and he was so nice and understanding.... Without me asking he even offered to take spacial consideration to the fact that I hardly had any furniture to move. The two movers that Arby sent arrived on time. They were very corteous, profesional, caring, fast and efficient. The whole move was done in two hours, that was Arby's original estimation. Other companies required deposit by credit card before the move and had long list of requirements. My move with Arby's Cartage took all the stress away, and I can certainly say it was a pleasure. I highly recommend Arby Cartage.

We called Arby Cartage for a move from Ajax to Toronto last year after finding their reviews on Homestars. Their customer service and communication was great, we received a written quote and their follow up to questions was quick and helpful. The movers showed up on time and the move was smooth and they got us from A to B in their minimum hour limit. About 4 hours. Upon moving again recently and Arby not being free on our move date, we used another company. I realized after this move that Arby had not offered to shrink wrap or blanket any of our furniture for the move. This wasn't a big deal as nothing was damaged in the move but it might be a helpful suggestion for the company to offer to do that when they arrive.

I was very satisfied with the service that Arby and his co-workers gave. They came on time and they moved fast and efficiently. They were very courteous. Nothing was broken. They wrapped my fragile furniture with a saran wrap like wrap so everything did not move. I was very impressed. I found they were quite reasonably priced.

I called Arby cartage on the recommendation of a friend. I generally find moving a super-stressful experience and Arby's made it simple, pleasant and affordable. The movers showed up exactly on time, worked with lightning speed, were friendly and careful. I expected a very long day but they accomplished the move in much less time than I anticipated. I would strongly recommend Arby's.

We normally always use the same movers but this time as we were only moving a few blocks, we decided to try one of the smaller companies. We found the initial contact a little up and down...it was their busy season so responses were slow. But the move couldn't have gone more smoothly. I highly recommend Arby and would use them again for a bigger move!

I hired Arby to move my mother twice. The first was just to a temporary location; the next, to her final house. They were great. They were on time and courteous and handled her belongings with respect. My mother was very pleased, as was I -- hence the "twice" part of this review.

great experience with arby and his two helpers. they were fast, careful, efficient and very enjoyable to deal with -- helped me reduce stress during the move, put furniture together and offered advice. and very reasonably priced. the best movers i've used, for sure.

Arby cartage is a great family run business... They are extremely careful reliable and always on time... All my furniture was moved into a storage room with space left over... I was sure it was not going to fit but they assured me it would... I was very impressed ,they worked very hard did not take any breaks... The truck showed up right on time at 9:00 AM.. What they quoted me was what I paid ...no surprises, great rate...You don't find that with most moving companies.. I liked their service so much.. I used them to move me out of the storage and into my new house... Great company... friendly, polite ,young men hard workers... I would recommend them to anyone.. They also managed to move quite large pieces of furniture without touching any walls or damaging any of the furniture... I was also most impressed with the fact that they rolled out carpets to protect my new hardwood floors... they know what they're doing... Thanks Arby
